My thoughts are the same, that they are in nv_data.bin.md5, why? is a nv_data.bin with the checksum in it. Like in odin, a tar.md5 is a tar with a md5 hash embedded in it.

Pm me your email and Il forward acopy of what you need. I warn you it might take a while to come through cos the file is about 15 mb. When you get it put it in new folder inside the firmware folder in the latest flashtool.

Due to popular demand i uploaded to mediafire, simply because iv had a fair few requests for this file and its quicker and easier for everyone, so theres the file for those who want it, and dont forget the thanks button
http://www.mediafire.com/?37ve7a0p3yfqd16
Make sure you got the latest flash tool, put the sin file into a new folder in the firmware folder within the flash too and flash, I'm sure you know what your doing.
Let me know if you notice any differences, Il be honest apart from the keyboard feeling snappier and more responsive iv not seen anything new.
All my best, happy flashing

Come on sk_007, I'm just posting so everyone can easily access the file in a public area. Yes I got the file from you and I said i would share with others and I received quite a lot of pms asking for it so instead of mailing to everyone and taking 40 mins plus to receive. I figured why not give a link to the file in the right place in the forum for everyone to get. Perhaps you could of uploaded the file at an earlier point?
I am not trying to take credit, I only asked people to use the thanks button. I'm not even the OP in this thread.
I am not trying to flame etc but why get so sensitive over something so small. Thanks for sharing with me, thing is everyone has just as much rights to stay up to date as you or me or anyone else. Last time I checked xda was about sharing and helping others.

YouVersion NIV and NLT Offline Files

Hi Guys. First of all i want to inform everyone who uses the Youversion Bible App that the NIV and NLT version are available for download starting today until tomorrow (Oct 30 - 31). That said, can someone Download these files and upload them to any file sharing sites (pref. mediafire) and post the links here? filenames are something like niv.1.sqlite3 and is usually stored in .youversion folder in your SD card.
BTW, im trying to download right now and its almost a whole day and its always 'saying file download cancelled'. I will still continue to try and If ever im successful I will also share these files here. Im just afraid that I may not be able to download these files within 48 hours. I hope you all understand my predicament.
I will pray that someone may upload those files here and all bible users may look on this thread if ever they need those versions again.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the links, got the NIV and NLT back. Great!

Hi Guys I'm a new Christian and have a blackberry, and I really want to have the offline version of the NLT, can someone please help me ? If you can upload the offline .db file I'd really appreciate it. I tried the the NLT.sqlite3 file above but it doesn't pick up on my phone, also the other offline version I have is in .db format and works perfectly. Or if someone can tell me how to convert the sqlite3 file to .db so that it would run on my phone, that would also be a great help.
Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know if the NIV 1984 translation (NIV84) has ever been made available offline?
Can anyone please share the niv84 with me? I really want it as offline.

The same thing happened to me and YouVersion could not help me. I appreciate these being posted, as I was searching for them for months.
If anyone ever needs them again, they are stored on my Dropbox account.
I have a jailed iPad, and I have the offline-NLT file, but how do I get it into my iPad Youversion app?! I know this is an Android forum, but the people on here seem to know how to extract the SQL file from the iPad/iPhone, and I have NO idea how the reverse is done...
I have just recently jail-broken my iPod touch and was wanting access files on it. I came across a windows software called iExplorer from Macroplant and I was able to move the downloaded NIV and NLT files directly to my un-broken iPhone 4s. They read okay so far but i haven't been able to update them yet, possibly because of lack of .copyright files. If anyone here can upload those to mediafire that would be great.
Just wanna ask if the NIV version is the same as the paid one on youversion?

I have this version. I can upload it to my dropbox account. I will post a link shortly.
I have a question for you guys. I recently got the HTC Evo 4G LTE and want to restore my offline versions that are no longer available to d/l. I cannot for the life of me find where they are kept on my new device. I know on my OG Evo that it was under .youversion, but I do not see that folder anywhere on my internal sd card nor external sd card. Could someone help me figure this out? Thanks.
Edit:
Can't post external links yet, pm me and I'll try and get them to you
Edit #2:
Nevermind, I found a sd card app that allowed me to view all folders, so I got them back in there.

[R&D][WIP]Port Galaxy S3 to Android kitchen

UPDATE
THE KITCHEN OFFICIALLY SUPPORTS OUR MODEL, THE SCH-I535. Here is the the thread.
THIS IS NOW RETIRED.THANKYOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED THIS
What is this project?
This project is port over the GS3 onto the Android kitchen so it can be used with the rom creation and tweaking feautures of the Android kitchen.
What's the Android kitchen?
The Android kitchen is a free tool that allows the creation of rom's and tweaking other roms without codeing.
Want to test?
As of right now i have all the testers needed.
UPDATE: 8/30/12
- The error 6 while flashing is gone now i think, but has been replaced with error 7 now.
-Found a problem with the update-script
-Made a rom with the kitchen used Beans rom. Looking for testers please pm me if you'd like to help.
-After going through some scripts a noticed that their might have to be multiple scripts for other GS3. This might much more simple then i thought. Will test later on.
GOALS FOR THIS PROJECT:
Update busybox
Support for all Galaxy S3 devices
Full support for all Android kitchen's features
Fully stable/bugless
Progress so far:
folder for GS3 variants
edify_defs file made
check_ script made for the verzion gs3
NEEDS TO BE DONE:
edify_defs for other models
Other things that are not known yet
edify_defs for vzw GS3
I myself am currently the only one working on this, if anyone would like to contribuit to this feel free to pm me email me or gtalk me (at the end of post)At this time we are only working on the verizon version of the GS3 ,untill we have a compelte understanding of what has to be done and finshe porting over the Verzion model thats how it stands.Neither of us have a a different model then the d2vzw.If we ever need testers this is will we will ask. This might be easy it might be not. As of now we have a good start, we will contuine working day to day on this. All updates will be above.I"ll be using beans stock rom for testing i take no credit for the rom only this port.
A Big thanks to dsixda for making the kitchen!
Email: covenant123dx @gmail.com
Thanks to Josolanes for testing !

Droid3r is sadly a troll, or at least he's portrayed himself to be as of late. For Bean's I've been working on a theme cusromizer, and once that's solidified I was going to make it work with the major ROMs. If someone could donate web space, I have no problem making a nice web-based system for all the ROMs.

Metrodroid 4.0 where is it?

Hello, I am new here and was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I have rooted my phone etc and spent hours with all the great info in this forum and have gotten to the part where I flash the ROM metrodroid 4.0 Although there is a link in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182
It does not work. When you click on it in the minus web site it kicks you to a different page and does not start a download. I have spent hours and hours trying to find this rom and it is only located here and all other threads direct me back to the same thread. If anyone can help me in any way I would appreciate it. I am stuck at this point with no way to get my evo shift fully flashed to metro. Thanks for your time in advance. If you need my email to send me it I will be more than happy to supply it.
In need,
Todd

I did search the site and did find that link which is this link from the developer that is found at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182&page=01
But when you clikc on the download link it just boots you out to a different page on minus. The download doesn't start or anything. I did PM him but he probably gets a lot of that. But regardless I can't get it to download. If someone has it that would be great. I googled and there was no other mirrors or anyone else who uploaded it. Most I get from other forums is a link back to the same thread with the minus upload for metrodroid. Does anyone else have this same problem if you try to download with the link above? I tried 3 different computers with the same result.
Just ask somebody in the fourm to upload it to an other site.

The reason you can't download it is because the file no longer appears to exist on the minus.com website. I'd suggest sending a PM to the OP (Bloodykiller86) asking for advice as he may have a copy of that ROM somewhere.

I'd suggest that you should put that copy on a decent sharing site and post the link here so that other people searching for this can find it rather easier than you did.
Thats a good idea. I'll look into that tomorrow. Like mediafire or something.

Copy com.android.providers.settings folder from within lollipop. Then copy/paste in mm data/data folder. Must have root and a file explorer. I use fx explorer. Use sql lite to edit. If error occur saying no file to edit. Close out everything, and reopen sql lite again. Cha ching. Not sure all of the pros and cons, maybe this is a start. Everybody ideas matter. If you discover any problems, maybe the devs could help from here.

Do not hold users ransom for info - if you have something to share, share it and post it in the right place! This should have NEVER been put in the development section. Thread closed.
