I agree. I would even suggest that he could include the stock touch screen driver. (if I'm not mistaken the stock ICS kernel has the driver made by franco which has this drawback of stuttery scrolling)

Stock driver would be great! I couldn't care less for performance on games.
I just want a phone smooth enough for all other tasks.
See CM7 Nightlies for instance, that kernel has stock touchscreen and it's smooth as hell.
Is it only a recompile of the sources from lupohirp? when not would be nice you could put your changes on github too.

Hey Guys!
I like playing with diferent kernels and I don't like to always reflash GPe ROM.
So I put together a flash zip that installs default GPe 4.4.2 kernel and modules, wich will reset most kernels like teamSEVEN, faux, etc :good:
Enjoy and don't forget to hit the button
Download Reset.Kernel_4.4.2_modded_by_eng.stk.zip, flash and profit :highfive:

People can do that manually because some custom ROMs use files in there and can break stuff if removed.

Thanks allot!! After installing the reset kernel I lost root and flashing latest supersu doesn't help? Any ideas?
I've tried the the following :
Flash latest CWM, install latest supersu or later supersu by kosh. Both no errors while installing but still no root in Android! No su found!
Flash latest TWR, same as above..
Root checker also tells me that I don't have root.. I've also tried fixing permissions via TWR.. Or installing multiple times!
EDIT:
this is definitely a problem with your kernel / boot.img, I've flashed original boot.img and ElementalX kernel, and root works again just fine!

I don't know if it's an error with the ROM or if I made a mistake but I could not enter TWRP until reinstalling it after installing the zip.
The ROM itself boots without problems/FCs/errors.

Hello all
I'm here providing u with a stock kernel that has DT2W feature
note: this is not my work, i'm just mirroring it from 4pda.ru
https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=773750&st=180#entry58004282
To enable DT2W, u can use the app provided(it's a widget)
or using kernel auditor in the "Wake" tab
DT2W.zip is source code for dt2w feature if anyone wants to port to other kernels
