It looks like you tried to flash a rom designed for an S4 cpu onto your S3 One S. If this is truly the case, you very well could have bricked your phone permanently. I would look for your RUU here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140967, and try to relock bootloader, flash stock kernel (pulled from RUU) and returning to stock.

hi everyone !
i just bought Nexus S and follow online instruction to unlock the bootloader and root the device. So far evrything going so well until i do " flash rootboot.img" (download from nexushack.com) and my phone is stucking at google logo forever.
Then i try to "flash clockworkmod recovery " is successful but my phone still be bricked. Have try to return to stock GJH-78 BUT STILL NOT WORK.
Can anyone help me to bring back to live my phone, thank you.
My phone is G-i9020.
i found that ODIN was the best way to get my phone back from being bricked.
The rootboot at nexushacks also did that to my phone so dont use it.
Acne
If you have the Sprint Nexus S 4G, try the instructions in this thread. Let me know if it works.

I think the problem is that you flashed a boot image that is not compatible with your phone. First, determine if you have the I9020- A, T, or F.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031760 You need to find a post with the stock files for your model, and extract the boot.img. Then
fastboot flash boot boot.img
(If anyone else has the exact same model as him, could you do a nandroid backup and post your boot.img?)
You may need to flash your phone via adb. That's if you can't get into clockwork, there are many threads on how to do this.

Ok I will try to find out the boot.img and reflash again and let y guy know how it work. Thx all for helping.

I found one . In this thread [ROM] Stock - 2.3.4 - GRJ22 - Deodexed w/radio for NS/NS4G
I downloaded the image NSGSM-GRJ22-deodexed-KD1-rooted.zip (108.53 MB) md5sum: 970e9c7252f12a38ecaa6ff77ef6d010
Under: NS GSM - (I9020T, I9020A, I9023)...Rooted/Busybox/insecure boot.img/init.d Script support (Since my phone is I9020A 2.3.4 just rooted, I actually unlocked it, but then the rootboot screw me)
Then extract the boot.img and using fastboot type:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now I can access my just rooted Phone. Hope this help you
hi man go to here and you will find http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1065720&highlight=stock+at+google+pagethe solution. i did this it work for me.
Hey there =)
I´ve often read threads and posts by people how did not realy know what they did and after an interrupted flash or a bad rom the phone does not work (propperly or at all) and now they think they really messed up theyr phone...
I know that there are many different phones and roms and ways to so called " soft brick" your phone but if you follow the statet steps you will bring your phone back to life =)
1. DONT WORRY and stay calm
2. Find out how to get into the recovery mode
2.1 If you found out try to whipe data/cash and restart the phone
(many people have bootloops after flashing a rom and dont whipe the data/cash)
3. If there is no way to safe your Firmware (for instance due a interupted flash) search (google) for a stock rom wich fits to your region and phone
(For instance "flashing I9001 stock rom" if you have a sgs+
4. In most of the cases youll find what you are searching for (samsung roms can be found on http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/)
5. If you are really a noob you have to know that the software wich is needed to flash a firmware is odin (in xda forum you will find what youre searching for)
All in all you have to know that there are many people who have or had the same problems like you and you dont have to worry you will make it
Im posting this thread because a few years ago i was total android noob and learned how to flash in the way i stated above
Stay well =)
Only a question. The jig usually help if your bootloader got corrupted ( or something like that) , or no way to save it?

keep on searching
but as far as i know first of all try to reflash a stock rom one package via odin this ficked all my probles over the last years
fare well my friend
I have a ZTE V9 and i cannot enter not even into the recovery mode.

AW: You did not brick your phone!!! 5 Steps to unbrick
Hey there i have a tool from ZTE it is for the Recover . I had the problem that i installed Cyanogenmod 7.2 and wanted back to 7.1 so i started the CWM and then wipe cache and data/factory reset and then installed via sd card. And then it stucked at the Android Logo . When i was trying to use the CWM i boots up to the menu and then only the Power Button worked . So i cant choose anything only Reboot System . Then i searched and found the ZTE tool .

I have a suggestion to add in the OP,
For sony phones you can use the sony update tool to unbrick your phone,
Or what worked for me when i bricked my device and nothing worked: flashing all the mods you have at once and wipe everything
sony xperia ray
ics 4.0.4 rooted
stock rom
I flashed TWRP on my new tablet and now when I power it up, it is stuck on the boot screen. I can power it on and off but that is it. I can't get in to recovery and I can't even charge it. My computer does not recognize it now either. What can I do? How do I fix this? Please help!!!
My tablet is from Tablet Express. It is called a Dragon Touch X10. The ID is LMY48B. According to Google, the LMY48B is a Nexus 5 Hammerhead. The TWRP that I flashed was for the Nexus 5 Hammerhead.
Nice one...
Keep it up... its worked for me:good:

Build ID's are for a particular branch of Android, LMY48B = android-5.1.1_r3
For a custom recovery, like TWRP, it needs to be built for your device (or ported from a similar device, with an Allwinner chip)
You can go to the Tablet Express website and more than likely get the tools and firmware you need to fix your tab, link
i got a chinese version of razr v(xt885) and now it simply cant boot (always stuck in the M picture) so i need to flash it
here i got several questions that not quite sure of
1. i already got it rooted using a batch file through adb but i find it unable to receive official ota update, so how can i just flash it to the factory state, i mean i want everything the same when i bought it. yes i got a official zip file, but what should i do to totally reset the phone? just get into the boot mode and connect the RSDlite and reflash it?
2. i want to flash the australian retail rom to use Google service。will there be any problem in the process?
3. i did some study on how to flash it using RSDlite. in many instructions people suggest you need to double wipe your phone. so why and when you need to do this?
4. since you cant remove the battery in xt885 so if you just stuck in the M logo when booting i will stay there untill battery worn up so will it be a problem while flashing?
i m a absolute newbie so any help will be appreciated! good day!

Today i chucked together a rom im just learning now how to port and so on. many people will say its not possible but yes it is. I now have flashed galaxy rom to my sensation and it got past boot animation and is now stuck but windows picked up my phone as a Samsung device in device manager. im just going to install drivers to see if i can get logcat and i need a dev to take a look at my rom see if he/she can get it to properly booot up
HI, u try it and its good ??? I don't understand how it could!!!! Try to install another ROM, its possible that a Sensation ROm will solve this !!!
I think
Pretty sure build.prop is the reason for the issue. I'm baffled at how you not only avoided bricking your phone but managed to boot a galaxy Rom on your sensation.
because flashing a rom wont brick your device. i removed all fatal files and made it flash safe for my phone. rebuilt the updater-script so that it was safe to flash and it wont boot past boot animation so gave up tried everything i could but was a no go would have been my 1st time at sucessful port but oh well i am currently trying sony experia maybe that will work who knows
PLEASE HELP I DID THIS THE FIRST DAY WITH MY NEW PHONE: crying:
I tried to root accidently used the wrong clockwork mod I used ics instead of jelly bean. when I realized I loaded the right recovery then tried running the SU again. it says it was successful on both recovery's but when I reboot it doesn't pass the root checker. so I thought I should do a factory reset and try again but when I did that I used the jelly bean cwm recovery to wipe all data and reset and it wiped the whole os it seems and I tried loading the stock rom through clockwork but it fails and the android guy has a red caution triangle above him. I tried running the stock rom through the ruu but says my battery isn't charged enough
I must be honest i don't really understand, what you have done...
And if you want help, you should give us information about your phone.
There are 4 different versions from One SV worldwide and we don't know which one you use.
thank you for reading my post
