Welcome to my latest port! moProject42 is a ROM from the Xperia Arc/S forums by mastero9017. The Original thread is here. The ROM is based on CyanogenMod 10.1 and has many features of the AOKP ROM (Personally up to now I only found the AOKP clock ) and of the Xperia ZU (the launcher, you will be seeing it in my Xperia Z JB ROM v6). Anyways what the ROM offers? Lets see:

How to install:
For S-OFF:
1. Boot to Recovery
2. Factory Data reset
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Format System
5. Install ROM Zip from Sdcard
6. Install Google Apps
7. [IF ROOT NOT WORKING] Install UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.34.zip for root access (see downloads).
For Unlocked Bootloaders:
1. Boot to Recovery
2. Factory Data reset
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Format System
5. Install ROM Zip from Sdcard
6. Install Google Apps
7. Flash kernel (inside zip "boot.img") via fastboot.
8. [IF ROOT NOT WORKING] Install UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.34.zip for root access (see downloads).
Update to new version:
1. Download the new zip, the lockscreen fix, new google apps and inspiremod (if you have an Inspire 4G).
2. Clear cache
3. Format system
4. Install zips from sd card (rom, google apps, lockscreen fix and inspiremod).
5. Reboot
6. Reboot & Enjoy..​

The rom was really fast and stable in the last 3 hours since I installed it.
The email app is missing and when I use the Xperia launcher the hard keys doesn't work when I'm on homescreen.

Seems nice and fast, no problems with the install. Good signal, wifi works well, not tried BT, gps was quick to get a fix.
Never liked Experia launcher so swapped that for Nova so now have my hard keys back working, No problems with browsing and sms/mms, calls work fine.
Will keep and test for a while, like so far and what I didn't like I just swapped, that's the beauty of Android.

Welcome to the latest port of the Pear Crew Team. After tackling the Xperia style we now go for a Touchwiz port too (Xperia fans are for a big surprise within the coming days). Also we have got many requests for a Sense ROM-we keep it in mind. Anyways my latest port comes directly from the Xperia Mini/Active/LWW forums. set_perm: changes failed error and status 7... when i tryed 2 install ROM with 4ext (full wipe before), that error show up... didn't tested gapps...

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought that there's only a problem with the gapps... Never mind then.

Just ignore the set_perm error and proceed to a boot, it will work fine, there is just a syntax error in the updater_script. Just ignore and enjoy the ROM.

Status 7 error when you install this rom......

wait for some minutes... if it stuck for more than 5-10 minutes, pull out battery... then into 4ext recovery (volume down + on button) and try to repair permissions... after that reboot...
p.s. did you flash 4.1.2. gapps, new link in first post...

Welcome to my latest ROM. Apparently this one is not a port (LOL ). This is in continue to my last hit, the Xperia v6 ROM. From the moment I released my previous ROM, I kept getting requests for an even faster, elegant, battery saver and performance ROM. The truth is that the Xperia v6 had some major issues along the way (some still exist, but will be solved with the v7 update). This ROM comes to bring the latest 4.2.2 JB features with cutting edge style and performance. I have personally tested the ROM a few days and found out that a Beta release is not worthy and that the community deserves to have my work right away! So here I present you the Xperia Honami (ZU) ROM! Enjoy !​

All the features from the previous Xperia ROMs except Timescape and the Xperia lockscreen.
These features couldn't be transfered due to some compatibility issues, but I will try to integrate them in a future release.

Soooo...its a port? If you swap files and folders from other ROM zips, its a port but if you take the ROM repo, and compile it using device, vendor and kernel trees, its a source built ROM.

I think you made a typo in the title... It's july...

Hi....
Couple of issues.....
1) the reboot Menu doesnt have options to boot to recovery etc.....
2) In Settings.......when I access the Storage menu........it FC's and comes to the Home screen......
3) No Clock and Weather on Home Screen....NO WIDGETS !!!!
Can S2W be be used in this ROM ????
Any info will be appreciated......

Everything by cedarctic/akateha here is a port.I also wish for a source ROM, but there is none to be found.These are just the same ROMs, just different look,cause of the same base.Nevertheless, we should be happy with what we have.

Hmmm, no they do have the same the base, but they still have different systems and frameworks and such.
They're ported really well but if they were built from source, they'd be better because they can be optimized when building with things like linaro 4.8 or -03, etc to make them faster roms. Even though carbon, which is and has been my daily for some time is very fast already

Yeah, the FC on storage happens on many ROMs that are ported... Use an alternative from the App store. And also some ROMs don't have the option for a Recovery Reboot, this one does not... I hope to integrate it in a future release...

hey...another issue.......i dont know if its with me or everyone.......when I just reboot the phone......the touchscreen stops responding !!!!
I have to take out the battery and restart again.....

Hmm, sounds interesting, although I have do not experience any similar behaviour on my device... try wiping cache and dalvik, also did you perform a full wipe?

With this rom, my sd card doesn't work.

Please Follow all step-by-step.​1.Download the ROM zip and Patch Zip from Post #2, Copy the zip File to /sdcard(Internal Or external)
2.Flash LEATEST cwm recovery, I am Using Philz custom recovery.
3.Take a nandroid backup (incase you want to restore)
4.Wipe data/factory reset
5.wipe cache, wipe davlik cache
7.format system, format preload (In mount and storage)
8.Install Main ROM zip n Let it Finish.
9.Reboot Your Phone, Complete Setup Wizard.
10.Open Walkman and play any song for 1 sec,
11. Open Es File explorer, Go to AmniX/Xperia/app/<install album app>
12.Go to settings/Apps/Setupwizard and disable it.
13.Boot to recovery and flash Hotfix zip.
14. Reboot it again Yes I said Reboot it again NOW

A. Do a Fresh install according to first post of OP! Follow all step! and also don't forget to wipe data.
Q. Should i also have to flash Gapps!

A. Its just because of 240 DPI, just go to xBLAST/xLocky/enable locscreen rotation. and rotate to landscape to see multiuser icons.

Oh, not only phone, at you can see, not bad. But miss dock and shortcuts position on the dock are not perfect that why I think you can do it better ^^.

Did everything correctly, it failed to flash. Zip signature failed.
Will download again, maybe corrupt download.... It says symlinks failed.

Nope but lucky I still have another ROM image in the internal storage so I installed that one instead.

Remove all lines concerning the backup-tools from the end of the updater-script. After I did that, the ROM flashed and booted.
BTW, awesome work, man! The theme and all the xperia-z functions really bring it on!
I haven't found any major bugs yet. There only seems to occasionally be a problem with the SuperUser, as some apps don't recognize being given su permissions, even after using SuperSu.
Apart from this, the whole ROM seems to be working absolutely great!

My suggestion is: unpack the zip with the ROM, go to the folder, open the file as a normal text file.
Then scroll to the bottom of the script where you delete every line with the word "backup-tools".
Then you save the script and repack all the ROM files back into a zip archive and flash it.
@AmniX: If it's OK with the OP, I could also upload the file I used for flashing.

Was Out of the town coz of exams! zip is working fine for me but still removed those codes from updater script and uploading then zip again!

Just tried to flash downloaded rom from updated link but it still failed to flash thanks anyway, I'll keep a close tab on this thread and will try again in the future when there's progress and update in getting this rom to flash with n7 without any glitch
My mistake, updated rom link is actually working after I updated my outdated cwm recovery. So thanks heaps for sharing this rom and will give this a go!!!

Rom is designed for Xperia J. Rom will work only with the stock kernel.
Rom was my second project that I abandoned because of Allure rom for J.
I found this rom and I thought why not freshen it up. A lot of people have locked bootloader unlock or do not want to because of the guarantees.
Rom is based on the stock soft.

Instalation same as roms like adw etc. you must do full wipe then rom.

P.S. - I forgot to ask - in the first description is written that in the ROM is new Home Launcher 2013 but in the second post is said that xperia launcher is removed. I have to ask what is the launcher, because I can't understand?

I flashed it, but when it booted up Process.com.android.come stoped working. If i try to reboot, it loops at bootanimation. My SIM card is in.
EDIT: I flashed dev4 and the problem is gone. i will tell you if i find something wrong with it, so far it looks awesome... good job, keep it up

Maybe you should do full wipe first. format system.
I try to fix this problem on sometimes restart.

I did...Wiped cache/dalvik, did a factory reset, the wiped system. I am gonna try to flash it without my sim in, to see if resolves the problem
