Widgets:
You won't be able to use some of the stock Xperia widgets with this launcher:
ClockWidgets, WeatherWidget, SocialPane-FeedWidget, SocialPane-FriendsWidget, SocialPane-StatusWidget, MusicWidget, NoteWidget, OnOffTools, PhotoWidget, RecentCallsWidget
Modified versions of them that work with the launcher and will not overwrite the stock versions are available bellow (install as normal apps):

OnOffTools - OnOffTools needs to be installed as a system app (push to /system/app and set correct permissions) if you want to toggle GPS and/or NFC with it!
MusicWidget - MusicWidget requires non-Xperia users to install the SemcMusic (Walkman) app from Xperia S / T / V etc. Search for it on XDA-Developers
NoteWidget - NoteWidget requires non-Xperia users to install the SemcNotes app

WOW.. what a great work MAN. hats off. the only thing i hated in previous Xperia S launcher was dock background color which was a nuisance ( allow me to say this as many people wanted a transparent dock) and you DID it Man. 5 ***** . you made my day as this is only using 15 mb ram on my Micromax A90s . i believe that with new editions you will be able to reduce the RAM.

Yeah.It also has launcher for phone and TV.

Pretty good .It's better if the grid size can be changed .BTW, It's nicer on the tablet than the shortcuts

The new version add some custom settings.Run to have a try.

How can I manage categories manually?
For example, if I look at the "Others" category, I see the "Quell" app, and I want to move it to the "Games" category instead. How can I do that?

It is the same Blinq launcher but a lot has changed since the initial release. The other thread is closed because the one who was maintaining that thread was unable to do it anymore for some reason, so I took over.
About RAM consumption, it uses pretty low resources, it doesnt take more than 20mb on an average device.

We'll see what we can do about keeping it in memory. Btw, what device are you using ?
Regarding dock hide option, we're making it better, also we're adding few additional dock options. So this issue will be fixed in next update for sure.

I'm using a HTC m8, and yes i like it a lot it's like gnl with xgels but without the need for xposed I am very grateful for this as I don't use xposed any more and this launcher has most of it anyway.

Nope, you dont need google now launcher, you can install Blinq right away.

I don't have the funds in my Google about atm but I will surely buy prime as soon as I do this is worth it.
I would have brought it today but I only have £1.20 left (crying)

I tried the Launcher yesterday. It is an interesting launcher with great support for gestures. It is very smooth and responsive and It might take a little time to get used to. But for the time being,few missing features turned me off:
1. Custom Icon Sizing (in %)is not supported. I like smaller icons and without it the desktop and drawer seems gaudy.
2. Vertical Scrolling Absent. I prefer it.
3. SMS Badges requires Pro/Premium.
4. Multiple Dock Pages and ability to scale Dock Icons to a different size.
The feature list may be too much but I thought it could give an idea for you to develop.
Thanks for the Launcher. Will be using it sparingly till i get a feel for it.

All features that you have mentioned will be taken into consideration, you might find some of them in near updates.

Blinq Launcher has been updated to 1.5 and we've added a lot of stuff in there!
