Can you elaborate a bit more on what this actually does.

Great App.
I am on an HTC One M7, from the app description it says you can flash other. If I read that correctly I can download another recovery img myself and get it to flash. But I cannot find this option. Im trying to use CWM touch .32 version.
Any advice welcome.

Hi
About supported devices, we must intend as: "I know it works on these devices, don't know on others" or "DOES NOT work on non listed devices, please do not even try!"?
Nice work dude, just one small problem.
The OP states:
-Sony Xperia S(nozomi/LT30p)
-Sony Xperia Play(mint/LT26i)

This might cause some confusion. You have the device code and names muddled up.

any mistake?
does this work for Desire too ? Just HTC Desire.
Thanks for this app my friend
I cant wait until it support Motorola XT910
Doesn`t work on Xperia Z.
Installed it but after start it says unsupported device!?
Not supported Galaxy Mini 2?? i have gt-s6500 but D. thank you!
Will this 'wipe out' a pre-existing recovery partition?
Say a user has CWM on his phone but wants to try out TWRP. Will it remove CWM and flash TWRP without any issues or will the user have both recoveries on his phone at that point?

You wonder what Hybrid means? It means this ROM is born from WAX stock and Blackhpone + Ceres. Yes, it contains a bit of everything, but mostly Blackphone for optimal performance and high battery life!
Make sure your phone is at least 80% charged (although it's recommended 100%), or do a battery calibration (after recharging to 100%) to avoid "OMG this ROM is eating my battery" comments.

@mucski
Nice, but i have a problem to get the CWM to work. In which mode has the device to be? I'm in Factory Mode or should I use Recovery Mode (I could not found some kind of fastboot).
My drivers are extracted from the 4Game 4.3 Package by alexDay and for factory mode I have to use ADBDriverInstaller
Thanks in advance
The phone has to be in APX mode. You push unplug your phone from your PC, you push Volume Down and while holding it, plug it back to your PC. Normally your Phone will stay black, like its still turned off, but your PC will tell you that a new APX device has been plugged in. I forgot to include the drivers for APX, but they can be found on the Explay 4Game drivers section on their website. Will include the driver tomorrow.
Well, APX Mode is holding Vol+ and Vol- at the same time. Then the pc is searching for the Nvidia Drivers (can be found in my dropbox account from 4Game ROM https://www.dropbox.com/s/303u65yqspmq4ib/NvidiaTegraTreiberAPX.zip?dl=0)...and then it is working
I installed via TWRP and it's all ****ed up freezing all the time.... i can't even spend more than 5 minutes on the ROM. it freezes and i have to reboot
EDIT: after some reboots it's great. The phone is amazingly fast and nice
Thanks for this ROM, I'm looking for a ROM for this WIko Wax. But this rom is only 0.4.7., is there any new update coming to reach a nice version 1.0.0. or is this last version already nice and stable ?
Thanks.
There will be a 0.4.8a when i edit the thread

Hi this rom's kernel support swap to expand the ram?
Thanks!
Thanks for this amazing ROM! :good:
Hello,
This is kinda not the rigght place to POST, but still related.
I have trouble installing custom recovery to be able to install Tesla ROM.
I find myself unable to flasher the recovery, it would be a worry of partition.
Indeed the command
Code:
nvflash -r --download 15 recovery.img
runs smoothly but the phone does not boot in normal mode or in recovery mode (blocked on" booting recovery mode" probably due to tight previous try).
After browsing the web, I conclude that I must stay on partition 16 and not 15 (it is already tests on the 16 with obviously not adapted recovery that caused the boot error).
But with the command
Code:
nvflash -r --download 16 recovery.img
I have the result:
Code:
Nvflash 4.10.1800 started
[resume mode]
recovery.img is too large for partition
command failure / warning: partition download failed
And then I'm stuck ...
So I really need your help, please ...

LOL...I think u have problem contemplating english. I meant the sd card bug in this recovery not the one by karthik.
P.S : i was the one who tested the official twrp for k6 note for sd card bug,as Karthik doesn't own a k6 note.
P.S.S : It was fixed in twrp 3.1.x which i tested but Karthik never released that one for public, instead released 3.2.x directly
I know. I tested the k6 power old twrp but the sd card is working. But I stop testing the new 3.2 twrp for k6 power. I think 3.2 twrp karate sd card is not working for k6 note.
With the new update of lineage 15.1 by Karthick I had to use the official TWRP since wiping Vendor partition is required.
Hopefully RedWolf will be updated to the official specifications of the latest version of TWRP soon.

Well my question might be out of the league.
I flashed my K6 Power (karate) with RR, AOSP, Lineage. After finishing boot up, a screen appears encryption unsuccessful. I tried formatting through twrp but same error occurs again. Should I flash this file? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to format the internal storage of the device to fix "encryption" related issues. Copy the important stuff to PC before formatting.

Then we need to format the data. If you don't format then error will come.
Done that too. Through twrp. But same error
Any chance you can update this to V3. 2.1??
It is so much easier to use than official TWRP.

Many thanks to OP, a good recovery is exactly what is needed for Mi Mix.
We are also currently suffering from issues of not mounting data partition in TWRP (MrRAINES', RAUPE, Official) when flashing RR 8.1 OREO and AICP OREO (18th FEB build). The other issue is universal touchscreen working on both MIUI and Lineage based builds that's already mentioned.

So the download that says Red Wolf lithium. Does not in fact support our devices and or boots into a non-working touch screen? Or it works I am a little confused.

Redwolf never worked. Don't know the details but twrp needs some magic (drivers I guess) to make touchscreen work for lithium. Neither Redwolf or the official twrp ever worked.
In this tread you can find the latest and only working twrp's by raupe and blunden for this device. The only ones that work with O.
Works it with mi8?
