Hello guys,
I use SGP ultra thin air crystal clear.
I think it is not ultra thin, it is like more than1mm thick and the lip in front is too high that it does not touch the front metalic bezel.
It makes S4 looks thick.
I think the neo hybrid looks slimmer based on video in youtube?
Anyone can show the exact height/dimension comparison of these two?
Thanks.
Sent from my GT-I9500
Neo hybrid is definitively smaller. Probably the thinest sleekest case out there for the S4

The ultra thin air is actually just a tiny tiny bit thinner than the neo hybrid, but it's rounded a bit so it's hard to show how close they really are.
The ringke rearth case I got is actually slimmer than both, but the neo hybrid is the one I choose to use b/c it goes around the entire phone, without gaps at the top and bottom. somehow I managed to scratch the housing on my SIII at the top where that rearth case wasn't covering (same with a spigen or any thin case like that) and didn't want to do it again.

they are between 6.95-8.99 with free shipping on amazon from what I can see. they have them in white, black, pink and mint green on amazon. not sure if there is a clear.
I say neo hybrid. I have the case and it protects the whole phone. That other one gives a tiny tiny bit of protection

I think both the ultra thin air and the neo hybrid cannot be called 'ultra thin' strictly..since it's more than 1mm thick. (ooppps..apology to their fans)
If you are looking for really ultrathin case, consider this,
http://www.parfiti.com
<1mm thick.
the silver edge well encased

I'm looking for a new case. Recently had the Spigen Neo Hybrid. Amazing case until the back TPU started to get dirty really easily.
Anyways, just wanted to ask what the thinnest cases any of you have seen around is?
After I cracked my screen I started using the phone with no case and omiglawb it feels so much better, But to rock a phone without a case is dangerous so I figured I'd get a case, but this time something really, really thin so it doesn't add much bulk to the body.
Any input is appreciated, fellas.
UAG cases are thin and protective, just don't get slate. Slate scratches slightly.

That is a pretty intense looking case, man. Not liking the design too much though.
This thin case for S4
I just got this really thin TPU case from Monoprice for $2.94 + shipping.
http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=116&cp_id=11607&cs_id=1160701&p_id=10492&seq=1&format=2
I needed the thinnest case I could find to slip easily in and out of my car dock. All the others I've tried I had to grind down just to fit them in at all.
This one went in no problem and is available in other colors.
Hope that helps.

I own a Pinlo Slice 3 and I'm very happy with it. I only use it in more formal occasions, my daily case is a Spigen Neo Hybrid, like you ( mine doesn't get dirty :s), but it has some good protection and doesn't get scratched easily.
Check it out. Hope I helped
I like the Diztronic tpu cases. Have them on my last 2 phones.

Did your screen crack because of a case? Seems odd you would stop using a case after the screen cracked.

Nooooo lol I had a Spigen Neo Hybrid. I think I broke it in my sleep or something. Phone was on the nightstand before I went to sleep. Woke up in the morning and phone was still on nightstand except top left of the front bezel was exposed from the case and there was a crack(s) on the screen. After that I didn't give a **** so I used it with no case lol.
This is probably the slimmest case available for the S4 (the clear Ultra Thin Air model). It's too slim for my preference.

i also prefer cases that cover all the edges of the phone. if you're looking slim hard case that covers all edges, then recommend the Speck Candyshell. I cycle between that, an UAG, and the Diztronic TPU case.
I use this case:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BSZU8H6/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It fits with a tempered glass screen protector.
A little work to get it off the first few times bit it is thin and covers all edges of the phone and has a lip to protect the screen in a face down drop.
mine is not the thinnest i think but i like my spigen neo hybrid

Does this case add enough lift that the camera doesn't touch the surface of a table when placed on its back?
The liquid crystal case? It has a lip around the camera. Placed down on a table the camera will not touch the surface
I'm confused. The first two pictures look like the Neo Hybrid CC as there is a clear polycarbonate back. It also is missing the ridiculous branding that is on the Neo Hybrid EX.

As promised:
Spigen Ultra-Hybrid Gunmetal:
Feels good in the Hand, not that thick. Prevents the camera from touching the ground. It is a little hard to swipe from the edges of the screen as it is a little thick on the front.
Liamoo TPU Case (transparent):
You can get this only in Germany i guess, haven't found it on amazon.com.
It is really thin, buttons are easy to press, everything is cut out perfectly. It is a little sticky though, it doesn't have that "soft touch" feeling like the materials of Nexus 5.
Just as the title asks...

Now I'm using Arozell M9 case on Amazon[ http://www.amazon.com/dp/B012ODTG82 ] over 6 months and it really did the job.The look of the case is amazing. It is made of a plastic that does not feel cheap. There are two interlocking pieces, which makes it simple to remove/put on the case without much hassle. On top of that, there is a stand that folds into the back of the case, when you close it has a very pleasant "clink" when you snap it open and closed. Even though it has this fold-out stand, it does not take up any unnecessary space like a lot of cases that you can find.
Most importantly for me, the case encloses the entire phone. Many cases you will find do not have plastic that wraps around all of the edges of the phone resulting in the entire bottom portion of the phone exposed. This one does protect all of the sides and bottom, with nicely contoured openings for the speaker, headphone jack, and lightning port.

I have 4 cases. The Ringke Slim Gold case which I posted on here already, the Orzly FlexiSlim in smoke black which i really like - its ultra thin!
http://orzly.com/orzly-flexislim-case-for-htc-m9-smoke-black.html
and currently I am using this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MYRIANN-Ult...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item46386f94b3
It's like the Poetic Atmosphere but its a clear case - I wish it was smoke translucent.
I've been using a black Ringke Slim. Super slim, love it.
Currenly using the Spigen Slim Armor... generally speaking, I find the Spigen cases to be about as "no-frills-y" as they get, but this one does come with an added feature... gonna post a separate blog about it, but I can definitely confirm that it successfully resisted a 2'-4' drop on corners and face down.

Im using this one with the InvisibleShield HDX screen protector, both recommended by the T-Mobile rep who checked me out when I got the phone. He uses the same setup on his M9, says his phone goes through hell, but it looked pristine to me. I've already dropped mine 10+ times in the 2 days I've had it, not a scratch. The "self-healing" tempered glass InvisibleShield is great for the screen, too.
I m using dot view ice premium and generic black slim case and I am happy with them up to now. No spigen purchased 'cause i think they do some bulky cases nowadays.

Ringke Slim
Switched to otterbox, had HTC dotview, but the binding started to rip so I returned it. HTC dotview is a cool concept , but is not practical if you use your phone a lot (IMO)
Went from Spigen Neo Hybrid to UAG and never looking back
Im using a Seidio dilex case with kickstand
Another vote for the Spigen Neo-Hybrid. Nice color choices for the bumper and not bulky.
My UAG arrived today and it looks and feels great. Very pleased.
I'm in the quest of finding a the most ultra slim case for our Edge+.
So far, I've seen the following:
Ringke Fusion
Spigen Ultra-Thin
i-Blaston Halo Series
Has anyone found anything else that's ultra slim?
The thinnest most minimal case I have is the Samsung protective cover. Other than the edges, and the clear back, there is very little protection.

I picked up the black silicone case at the Verizon (corporate) store for $19.99. I've used these before (Note 4) and this one feels like TPU rather than silicone. I like it. Closest thing would be an Incipio (not feather or dual pro) or even Diztronic. This one is quite thin. I do like the ring around the camera on the Diztronic though. (I have the S6 edge version of that one, have not heard of an ETA for E6+ or Note 5 yet)

I got the clear Spigen ultra thin. Very happy with the grip, and I dropped the phone for the first time yesterday with no damage incurred. Only con is that the left side of the case is a bit "floppy", it's not very tight against the side. Not sure if this is a defect or if they're all like this.
I got the clear Ringke FUSION case and like it a lot. Couldn't be happier.
i have put in an order for the Spigen Neo Hybrid Carbon
Its doesn't half look sexy, now it may not be 'Ultra thin' but its a very simple case, and it isn't adding the earth to the phone itself.
And i believe I am the authority on thinness after walking around happily for 2 years with 3 different HTC Universals (Brilliant phone for University I might add)

So how did it work out installing it on the case instead of the phone? Did you do any modification or was it simple enough? The reason why I'm asking is I'm planing to do that .. looks awesome
I didn't do any modifications. I just followed the instructions provided by dbrand on Youtube. A hairdryer is your best friend. Do it while the case is on the phone so you can make sure your fingerprint sensor and mic is completely centered.
I had a OnePlus One with a diztronic TPU case and a dbrand skin. Once I got this phone I knew I had to do the same thing. I haven't tried this with any other case.
I did the same!

A sticker that looks like wood stuck to the plastic case that covers up the awesome metal 6p.............just not seeing it.
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
I wanted a case to protect the metal so the metal wouldn't be visible anyways. I wanted a thin TPU case that also covers the top and bottom of the phone and the Spigen Thin Fit doesn't provide that or I would have went for that case. To each their own!
Makes me wonder why you're in a thread about cases if you're all about the naked metal body.

Looking through your previous posts, you're a condescending person who can't seem to understand that people are entitled to their own preferences. There's nothing wrong with putting a plastic sticker, on a plastic case, to protect a metal phone. Doesn't matter the price.
