xt912 Verizon Razr. Root finished, now how do I unlock for tmobile - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Cannot find a proper tutorial. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

There is no tutorial all you can do is buy an unlock code and if you have a cdma razr it's not going to work on t-mobile.
This is also the wrong forum for that razr. This is for the razr HD. You have the og razr.

That is the method for unlocking the NV for US GSM carriers on RAZR M/HD and there is no SIM lock and you don't need to purchase any unlock code.

ohhhhh snap.
Conflicting reports.

btw can someone verify the above method works on the xt912?
Also, can a mod move this to correct forum?

[Q] the only difference between xt925 and xt926 is CDMA?

I have understood that the only difference between the standard Razr HD AND the Developer edition, was that the bootloader from the developer edition was unloackeable
Now that the standard HD Razr entered the bootloader unlocking program, now how they differ?
greetings from mexico!

Is this true? I was under the impression that the non-developers xt926 has, and will remain to have, a locked bootloader at Verizon' request. Only the development edition and International versions show up on the moto site as eligible. Can someone confirm otherwise.

Motorola hasn't done anyone any favors by using the same name to describe different devices. XT925 international is bootloader locked, but can be unlocked via motorola's website in exchange for voiding your warranty. XT926 developer edition is unlocked, but still Verizon LTE specific. XT926 Verizon branded is bootloader locked, and while can be bypassed by hacks, doesn't currently have an unlockable bootloader.

The phone does have a GSM radio in it that will work fairly well on other networks. I would read this thread:
