I'm a nature and landscape photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I'd like to share with you an app that allows access to 130+ HD images from my portfolio.
App also provides an easy way to access and use as wallpapers your images from Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, Instagram as well as local smartphone gallery.

I just downloaded your app (free version). Pictures are pretty nice. Thinking about buying pro.
And here is some feedback for the app itself. I think you should make the layout like in android galerie (4+) (scrolling horizontally) or categories in tabs you can swipe through (left and right). And not such big spacing between the pictures for less scrolling
And it should be possible to see a big preview when tapping a picture to see more details.
I'm using it on a Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean. Setting a picture as background takes quiet long.
I really like the app and look forward to more pictures and updates.

I agree, I need to work on layout for phones On tablets (actually on large screens) I use slightly different layout - categories are always visible, so it is much easier to browse and spacing is smaller.
I was thinking about making previews, but not sure how to pick proper image size for it yet
As for setting picture as background - I know and working on it. Each wallpaper (if not in cache on the server) gets resized at the backend upon request on the fly. It usually works fine, but when app gets spikes in downloads (like now and past 2-3 days) my servers struggle a little bit This is where I'm focusing at the moment.

New update includes wallpaper previews, better screen real estate utilisation and some bug fixes. Also, app is now available on other app stores as well: appia, mobango, slideme, opera.

DeblurIt is a professional way to sharpen blurry photos. It provides unrivaled clarity and successfully removes motion blur, out-of-focus blur, gaussian blur from your images. Fix photo blur and sharpen non-blurred images with DeblurIt!
It uses progressive algorithms based on deconvolution technology. While commonly used "unsharp mask" filter just detects the edges and adds them to the original image, deconvolution uses information within the image to approximately restore the original state and fix photo blur. Deconvolution perfectly restores photos with large defects, recovering lost details. DeblurIt is the only app that supports deconvolution on Android (28.02.2013)
You can also use unsharp mask filter that removes blur in more standard way. It is the best fit for small defects.
Auto mode uses unsharp mask to quickly remove small blur from the photo.

ummm... yeahh... quite a bit off topic. not even phone related...
but anyways great work with the app dev, supported with pro version can't wait to see what's in store next

The interface is far from perfect but it does quite a good job. Here's a test-picture. The text is complete unreadable in the original. The app made it readable again. From now on I won't be so sceptical anymore when someone in a movie says "can you enhance that security cam picture?".

and can you attach apk in attachments please?

I have been looking for something like this but unfortunately I can't get it to work on any testing I have done including out of Focus, Gaussian and Motion blurred pics. I tried all settings and at least 10-15 tests for each setting and still cant see any improvement at all. Maybe I don't understand the app but for me it didn't work. EVO LTE with Evolve 4.2.2

Yeah, it's actually 2.2+, i made a mistake in the title. Fixed. Also I attached apk file to the message and added sample images used on application's google play page.

With motion blur it would be nice to see an example of the angle. Is 0 a vertical blur and 90 a horizontal blur?
It would be nice to see a detail of the picture when previewing because on the small image I can't see much details.
The checkbox 'greyscale' isn't clear (it only applies to the final image I guess). The preview is always greyscale.
Pinch to zoom would be nice.

You ask for features!
Can you add something like the "double" camera feature that the camera on the Galaxy S4 has? Use rear camera for main shot and add small picture taken from front camera?
Can you add short sound sequence recorded while the picture is taken like on the Galaxy S4?

It says "Can't connect to the camera".. I'm using CM10.1 nightly on my S3..

I haven't tried the app yet (currently at work) but from what I can see one feature that would be real nice, is to be able to 'save and share' your final slideshow.
That way you could use the app to make some sort of slide show with all your filters and music and whatnot.. and then "Share" the slideshow with friends via Google, Facebook, Dropbox, etc.. by converting it to a movie format first then uploading/sending the movie (with optional resolution change to deal with bandwidth).
Just a suggestion to make your app stand out vs the other photo apps out there.

[APP] Expose - Live Portrait Filters and Glitch Effects (from creators of VIMAGE app)

Background
I'm Ahmed Harmouche, co-founder and CTO of VIMAGE, a popular photo animation app.
For about 4 years we have been developing VIMAGE with the goal to create the most realistic photo animation app.
Hello GPU
This summer I started playing around with other techniques, forgetting a bit about our "most realistic" mission, and moving towards artistry, colors, lights, glitch, and other things I found interesting. From a technical point of view I transitioned from the CPU based Canvas (VIMAGE rendering is 99% CPU and Canvas based) world, to the GPU based OpenGL + fragment shader world.
I found it quite fascinating what amazing effects you can achieve in fragment shaders. I browsed a lot through Shadertoy and learned from the cool shaders created by this amazing community.
Move the glitch!
As I looked around I saw glitch effects are quite popular, on photos and in videos as well. The apps out there for photo produce static glitch photo output, video glitch editors, of course, produce video, but I didn't see apps producing glitch videos from photos. There are some, but they don't focus on moving filters. Photoshop Camera for example, they have some presets that move, but only a handful. So I wanted an app the focuses on moving glitch filters.
The app
Only glitch though? As I researched a bit more I found other interesting effects that could fit in the app: dual lightning, split color, color switch, drip art. These are all effects that you can find (more or less) in other apps like PicsArt, but they are all static. So I put them also in the app, as moving filters.
The other twist in the app, besides that filters are live, is that filters can affect only the background, only the foreground, or the whole photo, automatically, by a technique called Saliency Object Detection, achieved using a neural network. So when I code a preset, I can specify what effect I want on each layer.
An important aspect of the app is that it is preset based. The reason of this is that as VIMAGE grew big and quite advanced from the initial "pick an effect and generate" workflow, I wanted to go back to simplicity. Just select a preset, and everything is set for you. But as Albert Einstein said "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler", I also provided some seekbars so that the user can tweak the parameters of the presets. One missing piece for not breaking this "no simpler" rule is manual masking. If AI foreground selection fails, filters can look bad, so manual masking is needed in this case.
So summarized, the app is a preset-based photo editing app, that focuses on moving, looping (glitch) filters, and can automatically apply filters on background and foreground.
The release
After some internal testing, and a short pre-registration period, we went live on 24th of December. It's very early to draw any conclusions, as numbers are pretty small yet, but as I see the analytics a large percentage of users save and share their work, so it seems they like what they're creating. As what's next: I'm fixing crashes, and analyzing the data, to see with which preset categories the users engage the most, and then I will focus more on those categories.
This release was very exciting for me, as the whole tech stack of the app is completely different from VIMAGE: It is written in Kotlin, using Android Architecture Components, and the rendering is OpenGL based.

Future plans
At the initial idea stage I knew I wanted this app to be a platform where others can create presets and share them. The reason is that now I'm the one who codes the presets, but I'm sure there are a lot of more creative editors/creators out there who can build a lot more amazing effects than me, so why not let them do so? It's like when you build a game engine, you won't necessarily build the best games. Or if you know how to make a guitar, will you be the best guitar player? The other reason is that I think an in-app community, a platform can drive user engagement and retention.
