EDIT: Now it's working

Thx, I fixed the links.
I have 10 Mbit upload speed so it would take at least 10 minutes to upload for 1 downloader, after that will be much faster.
But I think it's still better than hotfile free.

what about RAM 550 or 612?

Contains one secondary bootloader, but no pbl and PIT for repartition. So there is a chance it will increase the ram if you flash directly on a GB/JB rom which shows 555 MB, but not 100%.

branded??? or clear

624, but I installed it over MC8 (installed over MB4+PIT), so if you install directly this ROM you will probably get 555 MB of RAM...

For me it has 482 RAM. But I've upgraded with kies, first with Odin I've upgraded to DBT gingerbread, and with KIES to JB and have 482 RAM. I don't know if you upgrade directly with ODIN.

I didn't know so I didn't tik repartition. Flash with odin from mb4 (firm) sakura
booting....
edit: bootloop
edit No2: back to mb4
charging...

confirmed 482 MB after update from MC8, without MB2/4 installation.

this update is bigger and has more files than MC8 one, I think that file mem_init.bin.md5 has something to do with RAM

Is it smooth like CM?

has anyone flash from 624mb of ram??

UI so far smooth, you can upgrade with ODIN safely, just put it in PDA and flash. In case of a bootlop wipe factory settings and caches. But WTF, this rom doesn't have lockscreen shortcuts?????? That's odd, one of my favourite features of JB Touchwiz are shortcuts in lockscreen. I've tried Temple Run 2 and Small Street, both games that were laggy with CM8, now they seem better. There is however some lag in Temple Run but you can feel the difference between MC8 and this build.

For anyone who still hasn't grasped the concept behind RAM size between different revisions of JB:
-If you flash MB2/MB4 over GB, or flash MC8/MF1 over MB2/MB4 and DO PIT repartitioning, you will have 624MBytes of RAM
-If you flash MC8/MF1 over GB and do NOT DO PIT repartitioning (since there shouldn't be any PIT file in the archives) you will have 482MBytes of RAM (heh, not the 555 you expected from GB)
Now everything should be clearer, isn't it?
----
EDIT: Someone noted that it's not even the PIT file that sets the RAM size.

1. Flash KPE
2. Flash DDLF2
3. Flash BAM custom kernel v14 universal
4. Nandroid backup
5. Convert to ext4
6. Restore the nandroid backup
7. Go to "Tweaks" and select all and restart
8. Restore my Titanium backup with all my apps
9. Choose the "Ondemand" governor and "SIO" for I/0 Scheduler with No-Frills CPU Controller overclocked to 1.2 ghz
So far so good, everything works fine, even better than KPQ with all these tweaks. What surprised me most is that games work even smoother than ever, tested with Sonic 4 episode 1 and Virtua Tennis. Now this games works without lags, notice that sonic 4 was really laggy sometimes and virtua tennis too.
Also the scroll animation and behavior is more natural than in KPQ, it works more like a Vanilla Android.
So guys... follow my steps and enjoy this awesome rom, really worth it.

To use Kies your phone needs to be unrooted and be on the firmware of the region you're at. Are you rooted?

Yes, for Portugal operator TMN.
I just tried to connect my phone with kies to search for official release and now kies needs update.
Hopefully it's for the new flash procedure needed for jellybean (repartitioning).
I am updating kies as we speak and will report after if the update is released officially.
Edit: Sorry guys, Kies says that LL2 (GB) is the latest software.
I remembered that Izap said that MC4 is the RC. I would suggest caution installing this MC8. We don't want any bricked phone.
Are you from Portugal? If not how you expect to update with Kies?

lol. it's an official firmware for i8160. unless u have i8160p, i8160l or whatever there's no more risk involved than usual.
so how i instal this?
i Can confirm that root work!
I think that just like any other load a software as a PDA, without repartition and pit
but I'm not 100% sure
Installed from odin 1.83, no PIT, everything is ok! but I don't like this boot animation xD

GoogyMax3 1.3.0 is a quite good kernel and changed the experience ^^ So if you tried a version before 03.03.15 you'll be surprised.
Battery Life should be good too. It will need some cycles to improve but all in all it's nice.

It's a ROM for the international S4 I9505 so it's multi-language. I installed and currently it shows "Android is upgrading" in german (my language).

thank you for your answer. i am downloading now from mega:good:
After some time of usage I can't notice differences between OC1 and OB7 except the better RAM usage (only ~850MB/1,78 after cleaning - pretty good so far).
But the laggy recents aren't solved yet (I believe it will never be ...)
Now, I will remove the bloatware which comes with this build via superuser. There are many games which are installed in /system. Without root no chance to remove any preinstalled app -.-
I'll report later ^^
ram usage sounds too good to be true.
try to run apps like whatsapp, fb, fb msg and then should be clear. Mine always on 1,2GB+
How about thd video lag? Youtube performs better?
