Note 2 Samsung Keyboard for Note 1 supports 320 and 240 dpi.
Only for normal Rom, so not for only preload Rom, or not for Rom without Samsung keyboard.
(must do other versions to support them)
It was ported for S3, so it isn't my work I'm just re sized it for our Note.

The flashable zip must work with odexed, deodexed Rom. (tested only with deodexed yet)
If you have the SamsungIME.apk in preload, then it will be moved to system.
So, I didn't made two zip, only one all in one.
The updater-script makes all changes and cleans the cache. (needed to avoid FC with Tap sound)
Before using it backup your current Rom, need more testing, or if you don't like it restore the stock keyboard.

The Note 2 keyboard can update the standard language data from the Samsung servers!
The base zip has only handwriting support for EN-GB and EN-US.
I made two zip the first it's the base and in the second are the files for Handwriting support.

Please copy your Handwriting support files from Note2_Handwriting_Support_files folder to (base zip)
system/VODB folder.
If you can't see yours, then don't need the copy anything to base zip. (English included in it)
example: I need Hungarian so must copy hu_HU folder to base zip.
result: system/VODB/hu_HU
Then push the base zip to your Note, reboot to recovery and install it as zip.

- SwiftKey which previously didn't work (after update; never showed up when brought on screen), now works

Now I think whether to try and fix this or screw the awesome handwriting capabilities and keep it this way

Downloading Ultimate Rom right now.
If Ultimate Rom use only preload, then can't do one all in one zip. (must see)
This zip is made for the Rom's in /system and /preload and not for only /preload. (maybe that's the problem)

I have flashed to my Xperia-Z-ized™NOTE v1.0 which has apps in both preload and system/apps, it flashed fine but no keyboard, none of the files are in either preload or sys/apps.
Not sure what happened. I have no standard Note keyboard before this anyway, the rom dev did not include one, the Xperia keyboard is there

I did it because the stock keyboard doesn't support Hebrew.
If you type on the Hebrew Keyboard, then it writes in English.
In theory, there are more vocabulary..
Works with Pristine JB All Languages v 4.0 (Slim):
It has auto correction. But no auto substitution? Which means something like note 8 keyboard, space bar is to enter higher probability word in prediction bar.

I'm using the same version. There is no change.
Only the typed Hebrew word was wrong.
So, the keyboard couldn't propose anything.

So this is CWM's fault then, I checked it and the permissions for .apk and libswiftkeysdk-java.so were set to rw instead of rw-r-r, so it's either helloWorld's CWM being stupid or the package script has some flaw in it

The least i can do is to hit thanks on many post of you. So i pressed 7 or 8 times now you r very close to 500 thx.
I will downolad it soon. I have the great thaidai rom and the c.o.h kernel(must have) the permissions in the updater script is ok now ?

Didn't tested it yet, but c.o.h has the same cwm base as the PhilZ.
First backup your current Rom.
If something not working, then you can set the permissions manually.
But before trying it install second keyboard (like swiftkey) set it as default and then install the zip.

Tested it with c.o.h.'s HelloWorld kernel v1.3.7b and with Pristine JB All Languages v 4.0 (Slim) .
No problem Note 2 keyboard it's OK!

I thought that I should share my new rom with you. So here it is But don't beat me if there are any bugs.
In this ROM I
fixed the IE problem
added the 10-Button-CommManager
added an AltTab function
added the camera application (published by Faria)
added batterystatus
added HTC Taskmanager
added rlCalender (because I like to have a big clock on my today screen)
added Windows Blue.tsk (a blue theme which looks like the default skin [disabled by default])
removed AutoUpdate
removed Helpfiles (because I don't need them)
removed SimToolkit (never used it)
removed Simmanager
made some registry changes
Changes in ROM with English input:
removed rlCalendar
readded Tray
put time to its default place
I wasn't able to fix the connetivity problem in Windows Live Messenger - sorry

readded SIM Manager
Keep CAB-Files after installation
Y-Z mistake solved
Maybe I forgot one or two settings/changes I did.
It isn't such a great thing, it's just the way I like ROMs. It runs as stable as the vanilla rom shared by mUn...

A quick fix would be to install WindowsLive.PocketPC_50_arm.cab. It worked for me.
Very nice and extremely fast ROM, thanks. The 5.2.1413 OS is the way to go it seems.

nice rom!..but same here with z and y......also when autolock on and backlight autoturn off enables, the screen randonmly turns on (this is a WM6 bug, not specially this coocked rom)

i fixed it by changing the "locale" key to 0409. Is there any other change in V2? should i keep initial version o install v2?

Hey V, does your camera work?
Mine does, everything is working, even MSN live, after finding the right cab file, the device is fast and stable, i used the ENG version not v2 and the keyboard setting is also good in this version.

most of our ROM is Arabic and we just changed those fonts but I don't know how to change writing direction : Right to left (like this ROM ability, i think)

This is a full Arabic read and write ( right to left ) and WWE ( left to wright ), it is depend on your setting .
if you need SMS text message program use Mirsal at the market will help you.

thank you much I waited so long for this, everything is working except for 2 bugs
1-the video player doesn't play any file i tried and often crashes.
2-the pinch zoom is disabled system wide while the parfield keyboard is selected, but it works again when the htc keyboard is selected.

i have read some thread and mentioned that i need to reformt the SD cards and change the format type to FAT32 which i already did and still no luck.
another thing which is not clear.
1 - Wipe. ...
Wipe what SD card or the Phone??
2 - Re-partition your sd card. ...
How to re-partition??
3 - Upgrade ext2 to ext3. ...
How to Upgrade??

Don't this stock keyboard should be removed because the theme of the stock keyboard changes when you change the entire theme from the theme chooser. This makes the phone look really nice.

Thanks. Yes the ROM has Tamil support, but not 100%. The Tamil words are not perfectly displayed but still you can able to read it and understand.

The De-odexed cm7 link is wrong. When i click on it, it comes up with rasna rom.tar
Edit: Sorry i was mistaken. It's working fine.
It's just the name as rasna rom.tar. But the actual thing is the De-odexed cm7. You can download it for sure.

just download & flash the zip via recovery (TWRP etc).
make sure to flash the 64bit version if your phone has 64bit cpu (google it if unsure)
After flashing you need to enable this Keyboard in Settings > Language & Input >
Current Keyboard > enable Xperia Keyboard!!!
Dont forget to go to keyboard settings & download language pack!
NOTE: If you are updating your ROM, please flash the keyboard zip after the update again, allways.
This will make sure all your settings, language packs, custom words etc will survive the update.

Installed in stock Z1 rooted with Locked Bootloader. Keeps force closing. Does not work.
does not work with AOSP 5.1 Samsung Grand Duos will test on CM12 tonight
Edit :- works fine on CM12 attaching some ss,
btw i wasn't able to get log for AOSP 5.1 as i tried installing by flashing zip didn't worked so checked if your mentioned folder exists in system/app with all files as per flashable zip or not & permissions as well everything was fine then went ahead & did factory reset & tried same again but didn't worked so went ahead & checked all apk's installed to check if keyboard apk is installed or not & as i guessed it wasn't so last option to install manually & make it system app with proper permissions but while installing manually normal mode & forcefully via adb didn't worked parse error & i guess until a app is not installed there is no way to get logcat

in language & input settings press on "actual keyboard" , on the popup again press. "choose keyboard" then u can activate it.
also make sure the app is in your system. good luck

thanks for your support, i have found the problem: the root/recovery app doesn't works good on my phone, the file is partial and i cant copy/move in "manual mode" your apk because I can't write/overwrite files without corrupt it...

Cleaned data and didn't work. I flashed using TWRP, also tryed manual setup. Android version is 4.4.4.
Does it support Chinese input? Can the 5th number row on the top be activated? Thanks
Almost perfect on Nexus 5 Android 5.1 Cataclysm. Only problem I had was the Fc when I was trying to download additional languages. As workaround I was installing an older port of Z3 keyboard, download the desired languages and the flash again this keyboard. Tho the problem might be with SELinux permissive but is too late for me to test. For now I'm happy fhat I managed to make it to work. Was expecting for long time for a material Xperia keyboard (best OEM keyboard in my opinion). Tomorrow I'll test if the issue is with SELinux or not.

you can rename the apk to your wishes. (doesent affect anything but i think if same package name inside it will delete one of them after reboot) or you install 2nd keyboard lik google one, then backup current xperia keyboard to SD, delete from system, manual install my keyboard.

this is custom google and xperia keyboard and emoji fonts which support unicode 8 code map ( base on unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-emoji-list.html )
google keyboard (v4.1.23xxx.2501950) :
1. add secondary symbol (qwerty, qwertz, azerty)
2. add number row on top (qwerty, qwertz, azerty)
3. change emoji grid layout ( 9x4 )
4. re-order emoji base on IOS9.3/Whatsapp
xperia keyboard (v7.1.A.0.28) :
1. remove original smiley
2. add new emoji
3. change emoji size
note :
- both keyboards and emoji fonts should works on 5.0+
- for KITKAT use Keyboard/Font KitKat version
- fonts compatible with swiftkey / fleksy keyboard
instructions : (don't forget to create a backup)
google keyboard / xperia keyboard
1. clear data and remove/uninstall google keyboard / xperia keyboard on your phone
2. clear cache and dalvik-cache google keyboard / xperia keyboard
3. reboot phone
4. Install as normal apk
font
1. choose font and extract zip and copy NotoColorEmoji.ttf into /system/fonts/ and set permission 644 (rw-r--r--) and owner:group root:root
2. modify system font configuration and then reboot phone ( example here, taken from my CM12.1 )
I can give you a solution for this but it's quite technical and you need to have slight XML knowledge (easy). You ready? Here we go!
- Go to /system/etc/ and open fonts.xml (if available) in an editor.
- Locate this entry:

- Move that entry (cut and paste) below this line (This is the 95th line or somewhere near there.):

known issues : (tested on: Razr M running CM 12.1)
1. google keyboard sometimes force close at the first time or when you add new keyboard language, because it will download suggestion first.
2. if you're using exposed module Google Keyboard custom smiley, it will break some emojis.
3. sync personal dictionary doesn't work
4. some emojis were not displayed correctly ( even you're using original Google Noto font ) :
- Whatsapp (on notification only -- ligature emojis)
- Google Chrome
- LINE Messenger

Arm64 has an issue. Can you also make a version without the characters above the alphabet? And would be good to add the modifiers to the last page.
Edit: Oh, I'm gonna send you all the emoji pngs with smaller size. My font has about 11mb. It will be good for some people that has less storage on system folder.

Emoji are working perfectly, only one issue for me: skin tone and newest family emoji are not displayed in notification... is strange because with stock ttf they work.. I'm on 5.0.2 LG rom...

Now it's fixed. Thanks. The only thing is that the emojis are a little bit out of place. The grid is not centralized. I'm gonna send you a pm with some things that could be good for the next releases.
