[E dual] CM10 (with dual-SIM) - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Installation (unlocked boot loader required):
If you don't have stock JB installed (11.3.A.2.1), you need to flash that first because this ROM only works with the baseband firmware that gets flashed with the stock JB ROM. GSM will be unavailable if you're coming from ICS.
Flash a recovery if you don't have one, e.g. CWM, or the boot.img (TWRP) included in the ROM's .zip.
Boot to recovery and...
Wipe data+caches
Install the ROM .zip
Optionally install GApps
Backup instructions not included because you should be smart enough to do that yourself.
Current releases:
Xperia E single
Xperia E dual
Other files, including incremental updates from previous releases
Multi-SIM operation:
Enable/disable SIM cards in Settings / Multi-SIM.
Only one SIM card can have 3G enabled, but it's not toggled automatically. To enable 3G on one SIM you have to make sure the other one is set to 2G-only mode first.
Some of the dual-SIM features in Sony's ROM, such as auto-toggling SIM cards based on time, different ringtones, or data usage tracking aren't included.
SMS are currently always sent from whatever subscription is set as the SMS send subscription. This includes sending an SMS reply from the "incoming call" screen or the "missed call" notification.
Note that battery life is shorter when two SIM cards are enabled. The reason for this is that the modem has to keep switching between two networks to remain registered and be able to receive network events, causing higher power consumption, higher latency, and lower throughput. This also causes the data connection to become slower when two SIMs are enabled. This isn't something that can be "fixed" because it's not software-related. Having only one SIM card enabled will improve battery life and data connection speed.
Kernel:
The inluded kernel is based on Sony's sources, so no additional governors, schedulers, etc.
Sources on GitHub.
USB mass storage mode:
I have enabled the USB mass storage driver to support mounting two storage devices simultaneously, so you can share both the "internal" and "external" SD cards as UMS.
Recovery will always mount both storage devices, but the Android GUI for USB mass storage will share the external SD card only, because the internal SD card is intended to remain available to the OS. However, you can manually mount the internal SD card from the shell:
Unmount storage from the OS:
Code:
vdc volume unmount sdcard
To unmount forcibly:
Code:
vdc volume unmount sdcard force
Share to USB:
Code:
vdc volume share sdcard ums
To disconnect from USB and re-mount storage to the OS:
Code:
vdc volume unshare sdcard ums
vdc volume mount sdcard
Known issues:
Video recording doesn't work
Video playback uses software decoders, not hardware
Magnetometer doesn't seem to be working
USB mass storage speed is slow
FM radio not included (hardware and driver work, and tuning works as well, but it's going to require quite a few changes to the audio subsystem to actually get sound out of it)
Turning off screen in recovery doesn't work (screen timeout disabled by default)
Inserting an unmountable SD card (unformatted, or unknown file system) will trigger a notification offering to format it. However, doing so will format the internal SD card
A data connection disabled due to roaming might not re-enable when switching back to the home network (Workaround: toggle airplane mode on/off)
Enabling ADB over network disables charger/USB detection
What I haven't tested:
Emergency calls. I assume these will work because generic telephony works, but especially in the cases of the phone not registered on a network, or calling without a SIM or a PIN-locked SIM, I really can't say (and I don't plan on calling up emergency services just for testing purposes). If anyone tests this, please post your results.
Third-party telephony/messaging apps (Dialers, SMS, etc.). Those might only work with whatever SIM is set as the default.
Bluetooth headset
MMS
RUIM card operation
CM's SMS limiter (Settings / Security)
All of my sources are on GitHub, and should be used with a manifest file to download the code base.

That's great!
I'll try it out as soon as i get my larger SD card and backup all Internal Storage Data lost by Bootloader Unlock!

Regarding the Source Look, its looks like you have cherry-picked the code from certain revisions, so any new feature releases made by CM/FXP would not be available to compile right?
Was that intentionally done as only certain revisions might compile, or was it an over-sight?
Thanks
hsr

The projects I have modified are branched off either CM's or Code Aurora's. The manifest just points to the specific commits on all the projects that make up my release, so it can be used with repo to set up a code base with all the projects on the same revision at the time of release. What I'm doing to incorporate changes from CM is to add CM's branches as a remote, and then pull in the changes.
Edit: Since some of the projects are massively different from CM (frameworks/base), or not based on CM at all (packages/apps/Phone), these sources don't build as part of a "regular" CM10 tree.

Finally...!!!

On my E dual MTP is working, and the camera works for photos as well, so there may be incompatibilities with the device or with the kernel (which is based on the E dual's kernel sources). A logcat of the boot process and when trying to enable MTP may help. Do these things work on FXP's release?

Not working on C1604!
@jjm34
Unfortunately basebands for 1604 and 1605 do not match i guess, 1605 is dual band whereas 1604 is quad band.
Hence not working for me now, i tried switching ril libs also. I guess best would be to recompile the compile from source with proprietary files from 1604.
Thanks

maybe you have to flash C1605 before using this...
or maybe you just edit build.prop comments as what I've done for my C1505
ps: forgot to tell, USB tethering working fine but not for wi-Fi tether...
we need Wi-Fi tether also...
thanks

Nice Work!
I have a C1604
Flashed with a C1605 ICS, Then again flashed with a C1605 JB... Working all OKAY till date
Still using it.
would be nice if Pulse mood light and video recording is available.. and if it uses Hardware buffering for playback
Basically flashed this to get relieve from that Less RAM problem!

Unfortunately that's not something I can check myself. What's important though is that stock JB ROM was installed before flashing CM10, because otherwise it won't work with the baseband at all.
This is the list of included proprietary files, if you want to try replacements; in my release these are from the C1605 JB ROM (11.3.A.2.1).

I guess that's fine. It won't work for updating, but if I released a non-odexed version myself any customizations would probably have to be re-done as well, so updating wouldn't be a simple flash either.

Crap, looks like I've missed that, because I already had it working at one point. I'll include the fix in an update. Meanwhile, if you're modding framework-res.apk, this should be the fix to include in res/values/config.xml.

Thanks a lot... it's working!!! :victory: actually i'm using Wi-Fi tethering right now...
i'm sorry for more my curriously question;
> This is the only one CM's ROM that haven't a SAME as another devices? you can see it very different frameworks files.. coz when i ported another ROMs based on CM10 (e.g MIUIV5, PACman and PA) from LG Optimus one, Optimus L5 and MIRO, it's just the same bug i found... No RIL....
> Did you know which one (RIL files in framework.jar) that should be replaced from your CM10? i'd decompiled both framework.jar then i found many files are differents... such as no SemcRIL, Samsung RIL, or another that i found in another CM10's framework.jar....
i assume you just compiled from different sources.... (have no experiences about Linux coz i've never use that OS/ need AutoCAD on Windoz)
> Any hope that you will help for my problem? XE users need more ROMs though...
oh, trying to replaced framework-res.apk from FXP one, it's not working... so, i'm very sure it's different source
anyway, thanks again for your hard work... really appreciated it... and :highfive:

I've had to replace the entire frameworks/base/telephony with Code Aurora's sources, and then adapt the rest to make work with it. Merging the changes into CM and still be compatible with CM's source tree would not be worth it, considering the immense amount of effort it would take (and it still wouldn't work with any bytecode/smali patches).
Pretty much everything internal telephony-related in this ROM works Code Aurora's way, e.g. no multiple device-specific RIL implementations. This will break many bytecode/smali patches that are written for CM, but other than integrating the changes and building from source or modifying the smali patches there's not really any other option. There are a lot of differences in the framework though, and it's probably not worth the effort.
When there's an FXP release this will be different because it'll use CM's implementation, and it'll work for single-SIM, but CM10's official source tree will never see dual-SIM support.

I have tried everything.
Interestingly C1605 ftf firmwares have a working RIL.
Is it possible that a different frequency from c1605(turkish) is being used by code aurora and hence im not being able to get connectivity no matter what i try.

" Just wanna share some info "
video recording will work if we use 3party app called " video cam illusion "..i try it myself using VCI pro version ..try with other cam app only get fc and hot reboot..

u really awesome..keep up the good work ...

Welcome to the unofficial CyanogenMod 10 nightlies
The releases will co-inside and the build start time is at 03:01 UTC every SUNDAY night and should be uploaded soon after. If at anytime the builds are not there, then there was a problem building the ROM, and we will have a look at it ASAP.
CyanogenMod 10.1 builds are available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092937. The buildbot resources are beeing used for other projects and/or CM10.1 builds
Click to collapse
These builds are compiled from the latest CyanogenMod repos and device repos on device and vendor files.
Furthermore these builds are multiDPI, i.e. you can run the rom at any dpi between 160 and 240 while having hi-res assets.
The boot images are signed and a custom kernel is included:
https://github.com/milaq/android_kernel_lge_p940/commits/jellybean
Initial install
Make sure you are updated to stock LG ICS update (v20d) prior flashing the first time.
And remember to wipe data/cache
(These steps need only to be done once. Later updates can be just flashed over an existing installation without the need of a wipe)
For a list of what is working and what not, see the second post.
And as always: I take no responsibility whatsoever for raging, screaming, crying, frustration, failing, confusion, etc.
You need to have a custom recovery installed in order to flash these builds;
e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859662

Tip: If you want to have your density settings persist over updates and don't want to edit build.prop with every update, use local.prop.
create a file named local.prop in your /data root (i.e. /data/local.prop) with the following contents (overrides ro.sf.lcd_density in build.prop):
Code:
qemu.sf.lcd_density=160

you should update to v20d(ics) first, then root it and flash this cm10 in recovery mode
by the way, thanks milaq! you're awesome!:good:

nah, just apply the cm10 update and you should be ready to go.
you might have to wipe data under special circumstances but that happens rather seldom. try it without any wipe first.

Yup, already figured that out, all else fails, back to cm9 recovery then flash cm10 then wipe data & cache, TTBackup the apps and all fine then comes the Gapps, too many force closes encountered, will try to clean again from CM9 then install CM10 then Gapps.
Sorry for that, already figured it out!
Anyway I already felt the "buttery" smoothness of JB + CM Rom! Fantastic.
EDIT: Oh I almost forgot, the caller echo has been minimized, but it still echoes, loudspeaker at call option is still not present, Auto Brightness seems a little buggy, it works on startup then stops. But all in all, it still the JB + CM stands out.

I had the same problem, i.e force closing. Data and Cache wipes after the occurrence of the problem didn't help. Finally flashed CM9, flashed Gapps for ICS, wiped data, rebooted, flashed CM10 & Gapps, wiped Data, reboot. May be wiping data twice doesn't make sense, but did it coz I didn't want to redo everything in case it failed.

Hi Milaq, Thanks for the CM10 update.
Tried CM10 nightly builds of 16th & 17th. Observed the following:
1) DATA Toggle button missing from Notification drawer. It was present in CM9.
2) Both USB & WiFi tethering are not working in CM10, the DHCP lease option is also missing. WiFi tethering was working well in CM9.
3) The TORCH application is now working in CM10, it wasn't working in CM9.
Otherwise the system was found to be working smoothly.
Kindly look into the first 2 issues, when ever you have time.
thanks for the feedback.
1) this is an upstream change. i'll see what i can do.
2) yip, working on it.
3) the omap camera adapter is now properly built, good to have that handy torch back eh?
does anyone get a gps lock? i'm currently fiddling around with the RIL's at commands and any feedback would be nice (or even a logcat of a gps init)
gps
well ppl,
gps seems to be fixed.
phew, what a ride. i was already pulling my hair out, because i couldn't reproduce the issue.
it seems like ril/gps are accessing /data/cache by creating a file (3gpp.socket). this folder is only present if you had cm9 20121105 or older installed and never wiped data. this dates back to an early commit of mine (https://github.com/milaq/android_device_lge_p940/commit/fc74ab2fcb7f541356b8248a0a263ea9feb9cd40)
i corrected this issue and gps should be fully functional as of tonights build.
pls report back in case it doesnt work.
cheers
Hey Milaq, thank you so much for a very fast rom. Howervee few quirks i have observed
1. The camera app is missing on mine. I flashed your cm 10 build coming from the last version of your cm9 and i noticed the camera app is missing?
2. As said above, torch already works
3. I find it faster than the cm9 generally so good work here
GPS works fine!great!:victory::highfive:

I have installed this today and it is really nice. Runs nice and smooth. Only two problems so far, Internal/External SD cards isn't mounting properly. I tried creating symlinks but it still wont show up in storage. Can you post a proper fstab that works for this rom and P920 or something that can help get this fixed? I also noticed that apart from the default camera app, all other camera apps have the rotated camera bug. Apart from that had no problems. Many thanks.
I've rooted v28b with recovery and wkpark bootloader..
Can i install this rom directly from recovery menu?

Should be fine I haven't installed directly from ICS but see no reason why it wouldn't work if you have wkparks bootloader installed.

You have SU760 partition table by the sound of it change the following /storage/sdcard0 15 to /storage/sdcard0 16 in /system/etc/vold.fstab
Stock camera works fine, look into defcomg's rotation fix for other camera apps.

Nope just tried something's wrong. Mobile internet's not working and i think no signal as well. Resetting APN settings or manually chose the net don't work either.
Well beside that it's looking delicious. But only for that downgrade to GB? Naa :/
edit: It's only mobile internet which doewsn't work

Well the 28b-BB is the only one since ages without an echo :good:
So for the time being I'll live without mobile internet I hope you can fix it soon kidkoala. This ROM is really fast and smooth my new favorite even without internet. And it's beautiful too since all apps are made dark :good:
There are only two options missing maybe you can look at that too: There is no flashlight for the quick-settings pulldown available. It's a cool feature so I think it should be added.
The other feature missing is to hide the hints for the next pages in the lockscreen. Or maybe I'm just unable to find it. Makes the lockscreen kinda ugly unfortunately.
But don't get me wrong it's all in all without a doubt an awesome work I really like!
i absolutely love this rom over all other jellybean roms simply because its the most smoothe and responsive (mostly), here are the bugs though that ive experience. long pressing home doesnt take you to the recent tasks/app switcher, it just does nothing. google voice input doesnt work and it simply keeps force closing wether its google now or the keyboard. games like real racing (havent tried any others as yet) force close as soon as gameplay is about to begin.
Hope i was able to help the development of this rom and make it better, ill give more feedback as i use it.

CyanogenMod 10.2 for Motorola Milestone 2 (Android 4.3)

CM 10.2 for Motorola Milestone 2
Introduction
I am a android fan and I like it very much (I came from Chinese). I have ported this rom for my ME722 (Milestone 2 China version) and the project is open source. The rom has some nice advancements. I would like you to try my rom and send bugreports to me. I'm a Java / C++ programmer, but i'm not good at hardware therefor some bugs I can't fix. I have submitted some patches for the CM official, but if you can supply patches for this it will be ok. The rom is world wide language support.

FAQ
1. The media scan eat up my battery.
The major problem is the SD card has too many files to scan. You can create empty file that is named '.noscanandnomtp' under the folders that you need not to scan. To me, I add this empty file in all folders under the root folder of SD card, except the folder "DICM", 'Audios', "Noticifitions", "Alerm". After do the previous steps, you can find the system speed will very quick and no more battery usage.
2. I can not send SMS.
The problem is happen when you upgrade from other ROM. The SMSC is incorrect make such problem. Please refer to the following page to try to resolve it. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/SMSC_Updates

The ROM has already integrate the basic GAPPS. I have check the GAPPS that include of the url by your supply. All of them is too large to install successfully. The ROM default size is 290M, the total system partitation size about 334M. All the GAPPS install package size large then the allown size. So I am apt not supply them. If you have any good idea, please notice me. Thanks.

Hello my friend
I suggest you to install this ROM with OTA Updater from tezet ROM or Engle_mars .
Copy rom 4.3 to ota updater folder and install it with ota.
Good luck
I will test and then give the feed
i get benchmark and this is result :
antutu benchmark - cpu freq 1368/65 - schaduler CFQ - Governor Performance
3722 = 668RAM + 874CPU Integer+ 217CPU float + 238 2D + 1071 3D + 525 IO + 39 SD + 90 SD
quadrant - cpu freq 1368/65 - schaduler CFQ - Governor Performance
total=2613 cpu=2093 memory=1940 I/O=6694 2D=580 3D=1740
i think this is higher benchmark with MS2.
I ended up having a problem, the virtual keyboard is gone, have neither the original nor what I did flash 4.2.2 swype keyboard, someone had the same problem and will be someone who can pass me the file so I can make the flash
I took swapper not know how to use it right and because of that it seems that the performance gets low, already put several configurations and it seems not working with me so always retreat
About swapper ,log collector and autostart I disabled them.
memory multi tasking is not good and when go to gallery task terminate then phone reboot.
If you want phone working better go to performance > memor manegment mark all option , enable zram to 26% then go back disable surface improvement and disable 16bit .

Same problem here, neither virtual (and physical keyboard but for this one I tried to flash an azery version maybe it can explains that)

Can someone who installed this give a feedback on the daily usage? I wonder what is the performance difference comparing to other CM10 roms. Does it need often restarts?

FINAL-[ROM][4.4.4r2]p6200/p6210/t869](30Dec2014)Omni4.4.4-HOMEMAKE

With a few requests from tab-plus owners, I started building ROMs for tab-plus. I don't want to ignor anyone so built for all models.
I can't reply all post because I don't have the tab to test. However, I tried to answer all PMs as detail as possible. Once a while in these few months, I received a few hostile PMs, calling me names, etc. I might have asked too many questions. I don't have the ability to guess what model or which ROM if they are not mentioned. I don't know why asking for a screen shot, a video or details would be too much for someone.
Anyway, I over estimated myself to support a device I don't have. I have spent too much resource and I don't think I can do this any more. Bye.
*** As a closure, I include all model in this final build. See my 7.7 thread for details ***

This is a homemake(omni's term) build of the open ROM Omni4.4.2 for the Samsung GalaxyTab Plus.
Although some features proposed(eg. Multiwindow) are not yet implement, it is worth trying and we are very lucky to follow this main stream!
Release notes:
2014/7/22
Omni 4.4.4 still use the 4.4.4r1 tree. I worked on the kernel again to improve performance. GPU is boost to 400Mhz which increase Antutu score by 2k+. zRAM support and KSM upgrade are also included.
2014/6/7
Omni is the first few release 4.4.3r1.1. Customer IR driver is added. You can enjoy all the IR remote apps now. Major update from Bluez also included. No much progress but 4.4.3r1.1 is definitely a hit. Cheers!
 History
2014/5/4
Trying a few settings in Linaro, including O3 optimization. No apparent different... May be the blobs are bottlenecks. Switch back to original toolchain. In this build, charging animation is fixed, Lockscreen rotation is fixed and bluetooth update from Bluez. I haven't encounter DSP manager crash. Don't know if it is fixed.
2014/4/12
This build included all the fixes in my cm11 and so as the only minor issue...I built this with the Linaro toolchain 4.7.4 for both kernel and platform. Tested it for a few hours and no observable bug with Linaro. I'll let you guys to see if there are any performance difference and issues with Linaro.
2014/3/30
No progress on the rotation issue. Tracing through the kernel, driver and frameworks. Lots of changes since 4.4... :cyclops:
There are some major updates in Omni and it's been too long for an update. Wifi-tethering is working now. Some patch to the wifi driver. Hoping to make it more stable. Top mic is enabled in the driver now. Hoping better quality during calls.
AFH might need longer to upload, try goo first.
2014/3/10
It's been too long for an Omni update. There are some cool Quick Settings features which are unique to Omni. In the last two builds, I had to disable some of them to avoid SystemUI from crash. I finally pull everything together this weekend. We are now having full features of Omni.
Recent menu and screenshots are free from glitches now. Rotation glitches are still there... Some fixes in bluetooth. Hoping it is more stable.
For some unknow reason, pa_gapp-micro crash some system app. eg. SystemUI.
Don't flash pa_gapps-micro to this Omni. Others pa_gapps are OK.
2014/2/9
It was a productive week. I finally port bluez5 to Android 4.4! Although only pairing and file transfer is working, it is a hugh step for us. bluez.org team is working on other services now. Very happy that we are the first device having bluetooth working without bluedroid! Cheers! :highfive:
It's sad that CM11 needs extra care so it's Omni again. In this build, GPS is fixed. Multi-window will be an option from now. Omni can merge su to settings menu now so default superuser is removed. One step closer to Official Omni.
** The mirror on Mega is discontinued. **
2014/1/24
Finally back to the roms after a busy week! Everything seems quite smooth. Mange to make the new multi-window to work. I also fixed a bug in the wifi driver. Hoping no more ON/OFF now. OmniTorch is fixed and quick fixes on Camera for video recording.
As BeanStalk had make wifi tethering working, it motivated me to take a look. It was not that hard as I thought. Wifi tethering and wifi direct is working now. Two less items in the do list. Bluetooth would be the final large piece of pizzle. Cheers!
2014/1/18 -- Seems the multi-window patch casue some systemUI crash. Please wait for a while.
Just return from a trip. Omni is now Android 4.4.2. Sim card will take a while to be recognized after reboot (upto a few min.). I don't have problem in WiFi since the last release but I change a few things in WiFi. Factory reset is essential. In case of repeated ON/OFF, you may try turning off the Wifi optimization in the advace menu. If not working, only a factory reset can help. Don't know why yet.
GPS has conflict with telephony. Lock GPS at air-plane mode first if you have trouble with it.
Multi-Window cherry pick not working in new source. Not quite sure why... Don't have much spare time lately but I'll try to keep it up.
2013/12/12
Just Mange to include the preliminary multi-window source for the 4.4.2 test build. I made a patch for the existing OmniROM. Although the codes is preliminary, it works great. Some apps might not work but overall is worth trying. I might include it in the later builds if it doesn't cause crash. Files will also be found in the download links. Flash the MultiWindow-patch zip in recovery. (A revert zip is also provided) Cheers!
The commit message from the owner Guillaume Lesniak:
[WIP] Multi-window
This is a big work in progress, which currently has some bugs, but begins to look okay.
You can already multitask a little bit, by using the app switcher and long-pressing an icon,
then select "Add to Split View". Last window touched gets the key focus.
Code is very ugly, I know. Don't merge it, don't use it for now. Unless you want to make your code ugly.
Enjoy

** CWM6, TWRP 2.3.1 or above is OK.
Most of the 4.4 Roms require the latest reovery with file_contexts and set_metadata support.I have patch the update-binary to work with old recoveries.
** See my thread to patch any gapps or ROMs with set_metadata fail **

This is Great!!
Thank you for all your great work, it is running smooth on my tab. And camera is working now for me on this 4.4 build. It more than enough for a daily, again thank you so much for keeping my tab alive!
+1 for still developing this beast :cyclops: :good:
I downloaded the multi-window zip but in recovery it stated it was a p6800 zip and was not installed...

I got wifi issue on my P6200. It alway loop turn-on and turn-off wifi not work for me. However I think you can fix it soon. Cheers:good:

Sorry, didn't think of that, will fix it and re-upload in an hour!
Files are replaced, but goo.im may take longer to upload. Try AFH and mirrors first.

See the Tips (#2 post) in my 7.7 thread. For some router, turn OFF the Wi-Fi optimization will fix that.
Good luck!

Which link is broken? Please provide details next time.
I already have a few mirrors. Most likely you would get what you want.
Good luck!
Edit: You probably meant the link to my 7.7 thread. I have updated it. Enjoy!

Don't know why didn't work for you. Do a clean flash (a factory reset in recovery) if you are not.

Daniel, sending you a donation for your work on the GT+. I'm still on PA 3.68 but looking to get up to 4.3 and eventually 4.4. Can I go right to this rom from PA 3.68? Maybe I'll switch from PA.

Thanks for your generosity!
Since don't have enough resource, I'll drop 4.3 and concentrate on 4.4.
There are features like bluetooth and mobiledate not working in 4.4 yet. It may not be suitable for everyone's daily driver. Make a backup in recovery first if you want to test it.
Good luck!

FINAL-[ROM][4.4.4r2]p6200/p6210/t869(12Dec2014)CarbonROM Kitkat Unofficial

Bye.
*** Lollipop is out so my development for Kitkat is done. As a closure, I included all tab-plus models in this final build***
for some unknown reason, download provider is missing in the final build
Patch didn't work and I need to rebuild. Hoping this is really the final.

CarbonRom is another aftermarket ROM having its unique features. I have been playing with Carbon for sometime. It has some unique features like CarbonFibers and ActiveDisplay. Another cool ROM worth trying. Cheers!
goo.im is up again!
Release Note:
2014/8/2
Just finished the GPU performance settings. In case some tabs might have lower tolerance, I lowered the GPU default min. and max. freq.
I also enable the Carbon performance tool. You can flash kernel and recovery from there. zRAM can only be enabled by TricksterMod. Old methods doesn't work on Kitkat. This build included all Carbon features. Enjoy!
2014/7/2
With help from @zombiezoom, the Carbon 4.4.4 build proved working on Tab plus. I do a sync before building for 7.7. It was a bad move. Carbon has an incomplete commit which cause me 12 hrs. to make the build pass.
On request from the local friends, link for Alipay is added in Donation.
2014/4/19
There are a few bugs in CarbonRom for our tab since day one. SystemUI crash, Some pages in CarbonFibers crash...etc. I finally fixed them this weekend! So it's time for me to share. It include all the fixes in my Kitkat roms.

Of course not. I don't have a Tab Plus to test but there are links to /sdcard, /storage/sdcard0, etc.
I don't know why you say you can't access. Apks will find the data themselves. You have to be more specific. Which apks, what do you want to do, etc.
At least you have to tell which model you have in order to get helps from others.
Good luck!

I don't know what you meant by messing your file system?
I think you meant the content of the internal sdcard was moved to the folder 0. This is the way android handle multi user since 4.2. Your experience might only upto 4.1.2. There were similar misunderstandings early last year when 4.2 launched.
Flashing might corrupt the /data and/or /system partition. If it is interrupted during flash, partition info might be corrupted. Internal sdcard is inside /data and the content will be gone. But that would be a very rare situation. I would say one in a thousand.
Although there are over a thousand downloads all together, I haven't received a single success. I don't have a Tab-Plus to test so I decided to drop this build for Tab-Plus.

Normally, there would be a missing resource (for the resolution of your tab) causing crash but I can't find any error in your logcat. If systemUI crash, how can you use it...
I don't know how you got the logcat.
If systemUI crash, you can only get the log via a PC.
Type:
adb logcat > logfile
will dump the log to the file logfile in your current directory.
A clean flash will clear the debug from PC. Try a dirty flash to keep the debug privilege.

Yes, the logcat I provided was done from my Linux laptop. Now, I only saw SystemUI crash warning once but everytime I boot the device I see a black screen no home! just the toolbar and softkeys.
So, if you need another one, I'll make another.

Screenshots after a clean flash uploaded and you can see that I cannot access Home or Apps drawer
I also attached a ZIP of 3 logcat files.
Thank you so much for taking time to build for our tab
Downloading now!
Edit: the AFH link leads to the galaxy 7.7 downloads!
Edit: Fixed.
Thank you Daniel, everything is working as it should. But sometimes when restarting the tablet, it gets stuck on the CarbonRom logo. That's the only problem I encountered so far. I will update this post if I found any other problems.
EDIT: seems like it was fixed by flashing Minimal GApps ^^
Which Kernel to use?
I have tried all of the kernels available on the download link on the first post, but none work with my P6210. They all fail with a getprop error.
Is there a newer kernel somewhere? I am trying to use CM-11 unofficial or carbonrom.
Thanks!
Can folks please post experiences on the p6200, I've been using the 7.7 version which is fantastic, the most usable daily rom but if this is good enough on the plus, I'd really like to suggest this rom to a friend who is still stuck with 4.1 jb

I am currently using the latest version and it's so amazing, ROCK stable. I have no problems with it. It's the best for Tab Plus so far.
EDIT: BTW a lot of people here -and I don't know why- don't appreciate the massive work that Daniel has made for Tab Plus. You could see a lot of downloads being counted but only a few people who would comment with reviews or even a thank you!
I'm extremely great full for daniel_hk's work but i think it would be great is somebody would test all P6200 roms and test them on common every day app and games and give feed back and benchmark scores as i have no idea what rom to try first ??? just look at the choices just from daniel_hk
this one is on my list to be tested just saying keep up the great work
Can we have some screenshots ram usage and benchmarks scores from somebody that uses it already? might cause more downloads and more replies
Thanks for your feedback on the plus zombiezoom, great to hear.
I've been trailing mainly P6800 (7.7) rom mods for about a year now. Its fantastic to be able to get access to these roms and everyone's hard work particularly Daniel, I must say he has so many roms posted and its great to trial them. I've been looking for a stable alternative to stock now for a while and I think I've found it.
I think people who use the roms are likely following guides from other sites, they just download, trial and don't comment here. To get everything working efficiently we do need to focus comments here to help the developers/ and ultimately ourselves by getting a nice working rom.
@ this point to have wifi, bluetooth, mobile function and other major functions to be working reliably is great. I'm sure those who make the switch from stock and remain would likely consider donations. I said on the 7.7 topic, that I rather less fancy functions and features and more stability. This way we can all leave the stock rom behind just like samsung left us there and turn to our rom of choice. Once we do that we then can support our developers who can in turn keep our devices stable and alive.
Thanks
