I asked this question before and finally I found a solution. (yes I am a noob)
Consider this scenario:
1. You change the wallpaper on your device.
2. You want to restore the original wallpaper in your device.
3. The original wallpaper in NOT in the wallpapers folder.
Do this:
1. Go to seatings -> display and choose a LIVE wallpaper.
2. Return to the home screen to confirm the live wallpaper is set.
3. Go to seatings -> apps -> all apps and FOCE STOP the live wallpaper.
4. Return to the home screen: your device will change to the default wallpaper. :good:
Thank you ,it works.

I'm looking to set a new wallpaper on my phone. I know that you just select a photo and go to Set As > Wallpaper.
However, I can't find a menu/options for wallpapers in the Display settings or anywhere else, and don't know how I could set back the default wallpaper, as I really like this. I can't find this image anywhere on the phone either in any galleries or folders.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
On the homescreen press menu button and then wallpapers

Click to collapse
works for me... you have to use the stock apps only. use album app to select and crop and then it will work.
Check out this page:

9 x 10 wallpapers to download to your phone.
Put them anywhere on your phone, then settings --> Lock screen, home screen, and wallpapers --> Lockscreen poster --> Wallpapers being used --> Add local wallpapers --> then select the wallpapers that you downloaded.
Beautiful!
I was banging my head as the lockscreen was not showing different different wallpapers even if I keep the wallpaper carousel app enabled.
If you are facing the same issue, do the following:
1. Open Themes app and select the default theme (Check all the options in the bottom like Lockscreen, Homescreen, System and Icons). Refer screenshot 1.
2. Now restart phone.
3. Open Wallpaper Carousel app (Settings / Lock screen & password / Wallpaper Carousel) and Turn on.
4. Add Wallpaper Carousel to Autostart (Settings / Permissions / Autostart).
5. Restart phone and like after 30 min press the powerkey and you should see the lockscreen is displaying different different wallpapers (That is Wallpaper carousel app is working properly)
We really do not like the default theme so if you like to install any other theme then before applying the theme, please uncheck 'Lockscreen' and apply and restart phone and you'll find the lockscreen changes wallpapers. If you select the 'Lockscreen' and then apply the non default/custom theme, what happens is, the wallpaper carousel will be unlinked and the theme forces its own wallpaper hence you will be find the wallpaper carousel is not working. I have spend days to understand this logic and wanted to share this info to help you all.
P.S: Some says it wallpaper carousel works only on Default Launcher. This is not true as it is working on my All time favorite 'Lightning Launcher'.
this solution working ONLY od you have region set to India/Indonesia. Not working fór EU version.
no
Thanks.... It's really worked on my phone as mentioned above step by step.
yes thanks for sharing your view , i will also want to try it with my phone and after that i will share my result opinion.
does anyone know why you can't install those live wallpaper in newer versions of Android anymore? I've noticed many people lost them when you'd upgrade your Android version to lollipop but i might be wrong, i suppose it must be something in the code that is currently outdated?
Here’s how to do it in Android 10 or Android 11.
Download a wallpaper from the Google Play store.
Press and hold on any home screen.
Tap the Wallpaper & Theme icon at the bottom of the screen or Wallpaper & Styles from the pop-up menu.
Tap Live Wallpapers.
Select a live wallpaper from the list.
Alternately, just tap on the Wallpaper app icon and follow the prompts to adjust the settings.
If you’re using a weather-based app, be sure to enable your location.
Tap Apply or Set to set the live wallpaper as your background.
Hello. I am new here. if there was any way I could upload a custom animated wallpaper and use it.
