Yeeh does that mean full clean begin from it .. We need confirm about these thing ..
Thanks very much ..

Tested.Works like a charm. And yes it makes a full wipe.

I suggest you add a guide on how to flash this if its proven that this does not need xxkpe to start with. This is really great. Flashaholic members will no longer have a hard time doing a clean flash.

thanks bro :good:

thanks.
using xwlf2 as a base (eastern europe), but I guess that will do

I never checked "Phone Bootloader Update" in Odin. Is it necessary for this full DDLF2 ?
Currently I'm using same old DDLF2 over XXKPE method without using "Phone Bootloader Update" option
Please confirm.

yes bootloader no need after froyo
just for froyo upgrade (to GB HONEY ISC JB uses the same bootloader) no need updating this !!!
it is even not recommended to put bootloader because it is often responsible for Brick
Bootloader is the first step in flash, if you have a conflict on your computer
avoid process, samsung kies, adb, antivirus internet security software and others scan stuff before flash !!!

@LoLaTiOn!
That what i thought so and read everywhere but was bit confused about checking that option. Thanks! for confirming

I would like to go back to GB from Jb only because of the battery.
Im currently in Qwerty
can someone post every single step in a noob (me) friendly way, please?
From what i've read:
1) you need odin 1.85 installed on your pc
2)Start the phone while pressing Vol down+home+power to start in download mode (these has to be with the phone connected to the pc via usb cable or you can plug it in later?)
3)Fill every file category with the corresponding file in odin.
4)Check Box Re-Partition Auto Reboot F.Reset Time Phone Bootloader Update
5)Press Start
7)When it says PASS In a green Box wait Till reboot is done ....
8)thee remove usb cable from phone
Am i missing something? devilhell007 says that you dont need the bootloader file? Is this file necessary only with certains roms? which roms would that be?
and finally, i've read that some roms, change the file system of the phone, and returning to stock bricks it, does this method prevents and reverts that?
sorry for the noobish questions, big thanks in advance!

Load all the files as i mentioned... and flash it... than after paas ur done...

[GUIDE] [Flashing ROMs] Step-by-step

Hello! I started this thread as it seems it's too hard for lot of people to search for guides about flashing. This is a way to get rid of useless posts like: "What is flashing?" "How to flash?" "Can I haz a cheezeburger?" Be grateful
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible of any issues you might have by using my guide. Flashing always includes a risk of bricking your device. Dont come to cry. You've been warned!
The list of ROMs can be found HERE
-Download ODIN Multidownloader 4.43. Link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W6CMP1LA
-After it has downloaded, extract it anywhere u want (i suggest desktop, easier)
-RUN ODIN.
-Power off your phone.
-Put your phone into downloading mode. Hold together: Power+Volume Down+Home (phone boots to Downloading mode)
-Connect your phone to PC via USB cable.
-Wait for the drivers to install. After that, in ODIN, one of the top line "bars" should turn yellow and some text should appear there.
-Download the AriesVE.ops file and check it as OPS. Link to download (attached, scroll down the first post, credits goes to manveru0): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331164
-Then check the 'one package' from the top left
-The ROM you've downloaded, check it as one package. If it's MD5 file. Then click flash.
-Flashing will take about 9 minutes.
-When you see "Close serial port and wait until rebooting" in odin, you can unplug your phone.
-Enjoy!
-If the flashing doesn't complete. Or you face some other problems, just try another USB port, or computer if possible
NOTE: If the ROM includes several files you should check them all. For example XXKP4 2.3.4 Rooted, screen shot:

May i add... if flashing gets stuck somewhere... try another usb-cable and/or usb-port. If possible another computer.

For all stock ROMs yes. CWM for custom ROMs when they start to appear
One noob question. Can I flash this stock ROM from recovery mode, meaning without ODIN. Just to reboot to recovery and than update from zip ?

through cwm Flashable boot.img and correct signing. AFAIK. im not a dev so dont blame me giving incorrect info. Thats for sure you cant flash .smd and .md5 files by cwm
Maybe an idea to remove the actual ROMs mentioned in the first post and refer to the ROM list:

(btw. some ROM downloads also contain ODIN and AriesVE)

[ROM] ANIMUS 1.1.9 for samsung galaxy w

Finally, after several tests, experiments, and cursing the Rom ANIMUS 1.1.9 and ready
the rom does not want to be the best rom around for our device
ANIMUS was created to give everyone the chance to cook their own rom modding and staff.

Roma is a technically stocks, but lighter, eco additions:
Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread)
zipalign
Busy box

app2sd enabled
The ROM is significantly lighter than the basic
installation
1.Download the rom
2.mettere the file to the sd of the device
3.disconnect the device from the PC and turn it off
4.Switch in recovery
5.nel recovery menu to wipe ALL
6.go sd card for installation in the menu and scroll to find the file of the Rom
7.lanciare the installation
8.alla end of the recovery procedure to restart the system
this is the link http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RSVBW3HS
end!
this rom with the kitchen and customizable dsixdia easily ...
tell you guys .. a small step was taken to work. good luck to all the dev!
I do not assume any liability you do so at your own risk

unmark the option: Auto Reboot, Reset Time (Sec)
6.Click on the One Package-Button and select the downloaded MD5-file.

[ROM] Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Stock P5113 Jelly Bean (OTA Leak)

- Update - Official P5113 Jelly Bean available http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704668
Leave the OTA Leak and flash this one, please (much easier too)!!!
After Jellybean OTA leak update for the P3100 the 10.1 version could not stay behind. This OTA update is not yet available to anyone, but the people of SamMobile managed to find a way to get it.
This update requires a base firmware on which it can be flashed upon and have to flash through the stock Samsung Recovery.
You need to be on P5113UEBLH3.
Because the P5110 and P5113 devices are pretty much alike you with your P5110 can flash this as well. Certainly I did!
-update- Thanks to coolypf you can now upgrade your P5110 device with a P5110 build. Go to his thread for further instructions.
-update- SamMobile released Official Jelly Bean for P5110. You will find this here.
Make sure you perform a backup of your data before installing!
How to Root instructions in the second post.
Flash instructions:
1. Make a backup of your data
2. Download the P5113XARCLH OTA Update (Download it from HERE)
3. Copy the OTA update to your External SD Card
4. Download the P5113UEBLH3 base firmware required by the OTA Update (Download it from HERE)
5. Unzip the base firmware file
6. Open Odin (Download it from HERE)
7. Restart the device into download mode (Power and Volume UP/RIGHT)
8. Add the P5113UEBLH3_HOME.tar.md5 file to PDA in Odin
9. Connect your device with your computer and wait until you get a yellow sign in Odin (Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked)
10. Press start and let Odin install the files until the box turn green and your tablet reboot.
11. Restart the device into Recovery Mode (Power and Volume DOWN/LEFT)
12. Select Apply update from External Storage
13. Browse to the OTA update and flash it
14. After the flash perform Wipe Data/Factory Reset!!
15. Reboot your device and you will have Jelly Bean!

If all goes well your ROM is rooted!
So a very first impression.
It feels snappier, but a little buggy too. Not very annoying though.
The boot animation and sound are not simultaneously. (Removed the bootsound system/media/audio/ui/PowerOff.ogg and PowerOn.ogg)
Still in the build (and in the boot options) is the phone process that instantly forecloses. You cannot turn this off in the boot options despite the option is really there.(Deleted CSC.apk)
I guess that I have to remove the apk once I get root access.
Maybe I'll have something to add later on..
Nice animations
excuse me , i wanna to ask if i upgrade to this leak , will my device locked into globe philipines ?
because i have indonesian-XSE version ..
and then , there is english langguage ? because in your screenshot it looks like not english , i don't understand that language
then the tutorial in the first post is for NON ROOT right ? because i don't want to root my device
hope for your response
thanks
I'm not able to update! I'm on a P5110 with a clean installation of the LH3 stock rom from P5113. But when I try to flash the ota update from the external sd it always give me an error 7 or something like that...

Still in the build (and in the boot options) is the phone process that instantly forecloses. You cannot turn this off in the boot options despite the option is really there.
I guess that I have to remove the apk once I get root access.
Now you can charge your device through USB.
Maybe I'll have something to add later on..
Nice animations
To gain root access you need to perform the 4.0.4 workaround

I guess you could also use this method (from 9.3 on) to root your tablet http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881675 i.e. flashing SuperSU via CWM?
Don't worry. Philippines is same region as Indonesia. Once u go inside stock recovery, it will applied Indonesia csc.

You might have to remove telephony.apk as well but do a nandroid backup first in case it makes it unstable.

i tried it myself and have to say it feels alot better then 4.0.4 but i can't get it rooted and the 3g signal bar is really annoying.
i gonna give at another try when the officiaal JB is released and when the root works. There's to many crap in the Samsung roms i want to remove
but it looks promising
are you sure you have complete root? i've flashed many a rom and cooked a few, not done too much on my tablet
can you install binaries on SuperSU, or use titanium backup and grant it root access? i can't

How to restore warranty at sammy custom roms 4.3, 4.4.2, updated added ZSUFNJ2

First a big thanks to anyone who is cooking roms writing apps scripts etc here and to user faria for the param.bin file.
Now the point, i found a solution to restore warranty at custom roms and i like to share with you.
This checked and working at any 4.3, 4.4 sammy rom.
Now what u need
1) mj5 bootloader
2) a rom compatible with mobile odin
3) mobile odin (i am using pro but i think is not necessary such as everoot is not necessary, don't forget if u don't use pro u have to download with app and the proper mobile odin kernel from chainfire's post)
4) triangle away
5) the files attached at end
6) stock kernel and recovery ( u can extract them from same version original rom, attention don't use other rom with other version stock kernel because u will have not wifi)
Ok now the procedure install and open mobile odin
Put at the place is saying param the param.bin file
Put at the place is saying kernel the stock kernel
check to wipe the dalvik cache (is not necessary but do it)
Flash and reboot
Check root, is ok 99% but if is not ok flash with your custom recovery supersuupdate
and after reboot check again root
If ok open again mobile odin and
put at the place is saying recovery stock recovery and flash it
After reboot install triangle away follow dev instuctions and reset the counter.
Thats all after reboot shut down your phone enter download mode and check your warranty.
Now i am attaching the param.bin file (u have to extract with winrar)
and some ready packets (kernel, recovery, param.bin) for some 4.4.2 versions, u can use them or use your own with param.bin file).
The srvr is paid but u can download as free user too (is not necessary to pay)
Thanks for reading.

And some new important info.
I tried to a rom not compatible with mobile odin (the mobile odin didn't restart to flash the kernel etc)
I rebooted at once manual with 4way reboot to recovery without closing the app and mobile odin worked made the flash.
After reboot i tried to see if my custom recovery was ok and was everything ok.
After i flashed stock recovery and made the same didn't restart,i restarted again with 4way reboot at recovery and made the flash safe.
And know the good one, it did the same with triangle away, i checked reset counter and didn't restart, i restarted at recovery at once with 4way reboot and worked.

Is this a method to reset the warranty bit from 1x1 to 0x1?
My warranty bit is 1x1 since I flashed the mk9 bootloader and then a custom recovery. I've since updated the bootloader to ND3.

Ok cool. That's what I suspected. I don't see the point in the risk involved? If you've not flashed a bootloader newer than mj5 then its a simple case of flashing a stock rom from sammobile, root, triangle away, unroot. Job done. Then your phone is in a condition where it can be returned for repairs under warranty. If you return it with a custom rom installed then it's gonna be obvious the warranty been violated or is there something I'm missing here?
Ifyour not returning the phone to use warranty then you don't need to bother?

You missed a point, the point is that most of us have phones with faulty emmc chip etc and many of our phone die suddenly, how do you flash your 9 months phone when is totally dead and goes only in download mode? Impossible, the next thing is to sent it 4 repair to change motherboard. The first thing they look at service is your binary count, if is ok your repair is free if is not 180 euro from your pocket goes away. I hope you understand the meaning of all this now.

I wasn't being funny with you was wondering what the end game was. I wouldn't worry too much about the Emmc problem. If your phone is only 9 months old you should be fine. Early note 2s had the dodgy chip or 'insane' chip. My note 2 is one of those. There are apps you can get off the play store to tell you if you have an insane chip or a safe one. If the service centre can see download mode and see the binary counter is 0 then wouldnt they be able to see the warranty bit too? Unfortunately my warranty bit is now set to 1 so my warranty is probably not valid. I've had mine for 22 months now so I only have 2 months left on the warranty anyway so its not really a big problems for me now. As i recall the 'insane' emmc problems occurred because of a kernel issue in android 4.1.1 that burnt the chip out which was fixed in the 412 uodate

The warranty bit at mj5 bootloader is cosmetic 1000 flashes to do 0 will stay. Mine is 18 months old.
The fix they made is dirty fix and not really fix also the kernel hadn't any problem at 4.1.1 the problem was the chip and the fix they made was to setup the newer kernels to don't write at certain blocks which had the problem..If you search little about this you will see and "safe" emmc chips 1301 etc have also sds symptom.
The secret with these faulty chips is i believe to don't fill all the internal memory, and also if you have warranty to be active.

No guys this method reseting the flash counter (custom binary download from any number to no even if you have custom sammy based rom installed) not the knox warranty void and working with mj5 bootloader and older. At mj5 bootloader the knox warranty is cosmetic, 300 flashes to do 0 will stay. If you have installed newer than mj5 bootloader don't try it you'll loose your time.

Tested Safely on following devices.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (SM-J320P)
Why use TWRP ? Why not just use some rooted firmware which keeps my warranty safe?
TWRP is a custom recovery. Thus, it has many more features than stock recovery, such as making full NAND backups, flashing zips through recovery, ADB sideload, and more! Plus, if something goes wrong while flashing something, you can always restore from a backup using TWRP, meaning you're much safer when flashing new ROM's, etc!

Follow the instructions carefully.
DOWNLOAD LINKS ARE UNDER THE "WITH PC" INSTRUCTIONS. A SEPARATE DOWNLOAD LINK IS PROVIDED UNDER "WITHOUT PC" FOR THE .IMG FILE YOU NEED FOR THOSE INSTRUCTIONS
WITH PC:
Step 1 :
Install Samsung Drivers and connect your device to PC. Let it install the drivers and any updates that may be required. The device drivers should install without failure.
Link to Samsung Drivers
Step 2 :
Download Odin 3 you can use 3.07 or 3.09
You can download Odin from here
Download the TWRP Recovery ---- Google Drive Mirror for TWRP
(DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NOT USED GOOGLE DRIVE EXTENSIVELY FOR FILE SHARING, SO THERE MAY ALSO BE A BANDWIDTH/DOWNLOAD NUMBER LIMIT PER DAY, SO IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO USE EITHER LINK, TRY AGAIN THE NEXT DAY FOR THE TIME BEING UNTIL WE DECIDE ON A BETTER FILE HOSTING SERVICE.)
Step 3:
Power down your device, then when turning it on hold [ Vol down + power + home button (all at the same time) ] in order to boot the phone into Odin mode. Release it when you see the warning about entering "Download Mode".
Press vol up to confirm
Step 4:
Now that you are in Odin Mode, connect your device via USB cable.
Now open Odin 3.09 or 3.07 that you have downloaded.
If there is a pop-up regarding Installing ADB drivers let it finish, it usually updates.
Make sure the COM : xx (xx is usb port number it can be any number so don’t worry about it, just verify COM is lit up)
Now select AP and browse to where you have .tar file and select it
Make Sure only Default Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time is ticked and nothing else. Very important! Double check that only these are ticked.
Untick Auto Reboot if you are installing recovery for first time!
Click Start and wait for the process to end. DO NOT Interrupt during this time.
Once it says PASS. BOOT INTO RECOVERY USING VOL UP + HOME + POWER BUTTON.
Done.
OR
WITHOUT PC:
Instructions:
1. Make sure you have temp root available (Yes, this means likely using Kingroot one more time).
2. Download the recovery.img file (essentially what is in the Odin flashable .tar file) from here. Make sure you are aware of it's download path to find it with Flashify.
3. Download Flashify from the Play Store.
4. Open Flashify, grant root access, and click Recovery Image. Navigate to where you downloaded the .img file and select it.
5. A dialog should pop up asking if you want to continue with flashing the recovery. Click "Yup!" and wait for it to finish. Afterwards if it doesn't ask you to reboot, do so yourself into recovery (Vol-UP+Home+Power in case you forgot). If things went right, you should boot into TWRP smoothly!
A few helpful things for the "just in case" moments(most of these require a PC with Odin, unfortunately):
* Stock Recovery Odin flashable .tar
* Stock Boot Odin flashable .tar
* Both of the above are flashed the same as the instructions above detail flashing TWRP. Use either depending on what you've flashed/messed up, or flash both if you aren't sure. These are NOT a replacement for flashing full stock firmware through Odin in case of a thorough brick (I.E. combinations of boot/recovery/system/etc being corrupted together). Use these when you're flashing TWRP or the root zip, as it's faster and you shouldn't need to flash full firmware if you didn't brick your device in some other way.
* Raw kernel source for anyone wanting to start their own project for this device.

We have a working permanent root solution available for testing by anyone who would like to give it a try and get back to me with your results. We're working on it, currently flashing supersu through TWRP still causes a bootloop similar to when using super sume to get rid of kingroot. More work is going to be done on it tomorrow, and hopefully we will solve the issue with either custom kernel, or he was maybe porting CM13 to here and thatd fix it straight away.
In short dont let twrp flash supersu just yet. And have odin backups just in case. Might see if we can link to the stock files later.
Ok sousnds good

Glad to do it! It actually got me to stop being lazy and clean up the thread in general, plus I want to make this available to as many people as possible, since this is the FIRST real progress on this device, I want everyone to hear about it! Too many owners of this device have probably given up hope on root solutions so far, which is just tragic for what is a genuinely good device.

But after I typed reboot recovery it rebooted to the J3 logo and then to a black page with a big yellow triangle sign that had "!" in it and on the top it said something like: custom binary has been blocked by FRC. so I flashed the stock rom back into it (had to go to someone's house to use their pc). Didn't lose any data though after it recovered everything was still there on my phone.

That's odd, we didn't run into that on my device, but I was using a pc and Odin, though there shouldn't be any difference. Would you be able to borrow that person's PC again to try to flash it with the .tar file through Odin? AL is asleep atm but I'll direct them to this post when they wake up.

Eek, that doesn't sound fun! Alright, keep me posted as to your success with doing it through Odin if you are able to. Hopefully in a few hours AL will be up and I can mention it to them.
Awesome thanks I'm sure it will work itself out. Could be that I did something wrong while using the console although I'm not totally sure
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm this is so weird. I tried the PC method with odin and on my phone screen where it says in the small text what Odin is doing, I'm still seeing "Blocked by FRC". weird. I might have to do a factory reset and then try again or something. what does FRC mean?

Ok! I figured it out. Turned on OEM unblocking flashed it and it worked. But I accidentally forgot to untick auto reboot (whoops!). It booted up fine but now I am worried. What happens if you forget to untick that?

Good to hear! I dont think its absolutely necessary to untick that, I didnt when I first flashed it through Odin, just reboot into recovery to make sure that it worked (Turn phone off, then turn it back on holding power + vol up + home) and you should boot into TWRP if it worked correctly.

Thanks so much for doing this!
Before I jump in, I want to make sure I have the proper firmware to restore the unit via Odin, just in case. I was able to download the file "J320PVPU1AOL2_J320PSPT1AOL2_SPR.zip" from a source (with a MD5 value of 008D7C9916FCAF885C811ABC3E55F01A), which when unzipped shows: "J320PVPU1AOL2_J320PSPT1AOL2_J320PVPU1AOL2_HOME.tar.md5" (with a MD5 value of 2C92F5AED197619F6AE8A86DBCB76B8E). Is this the correct firmware to restore a Virgin Mobile Galaxy J3 (SM-J320P)?
If this is not the proper firmware to restore this phone with Odin, can you please indicate where I might download it?
