I'm facing problems with Google Now (aka Google Search)... voice recognition stopped working!
Is there a way to replace this crap, for example, installing the "old" quicksearchbox.apk on jelly bean?

I have problem with voice guidance of Google navigation. I have tested it with 2 different text-to-speech outputs. First is Google Text-to-speech Engine(English) and second is SVOX TTS(Finnish). Navigation works normally when TTS output and phone's default language are different. Of course voice guidance in this case is not working. When both languages are same(like they should) I can heard guidance, but then applicaton stops immediately after voice guidance starts.
Error message says: "Unfortunately, Maps has stopped."
Does anyone have same problem? Solution for this problem?

Ok here is szihs version ported to non_rooted phone. The application seems to have been changed a bit since the previous version. I didn't test it much, but it seems to work correctly. If you have ownhere's version installed you need to uninstall it first.

Hey all,
I have to post here for now as I am new to the forums. I just flashed Jelly Bean, but it seems that the play market is only showing me apps that are compatible with Jelly bean, which doesn't include all the apps I use regularly. So, I was wondering if there was some sort of modded play store, or something that would allow me to bypass this.
Thanks, and sorry if I seem noob-ish; I am tech savy, but not so much in the phone world. :good:

Is there anyway we can keep all of the functionality of Google Now such as cards and commands without changing the entire UI to English US? I found a mod on XDA called International Google Now, but I highly doubt it will work for here as well, since it was for Jelly Bean when Google Now was just an app and not such an integrated part of Android.

Hey guys,
i was trying the Google experience launcher (GEL) in HTC DS and it works pretty fine but i wanted to try that "Ok Google" hotword stuff
but unfortunately its not working
then i came to the conclusion after searching that i need to download offline language file
but there is no option to download offline speech file in cm 10.2
so can anyone point me in right direction..?
i cant even use the hotword google in the app itself like for other jelly bean devices
EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED
