[Q] Latest CM 10 nightly

hey,
is there a way to search on the CM site for the latest CM 10 (NOT 10.1) nightly?
I'm searching my ass off and i'm unable to find that one, only the stable CM 10.
thanks in advance
Finaly found something
If someone other is looking for this too:
http://goo.im/devs/cm/ville/nightly
Here's what most use
You can select 10. or 10.1 from Versions menu dropdown
http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#ville/cm10/next
AW: [Q] Latest CM 10 nightly
Ok, then click on Version cm 10 and try to differ cm 10 from 10.1.
Small hint: nothing happens
Is there a list of known bugs with the M2 release for the OneS ?

CM11 update questions

I used the cm installer and corresponding app and everything went fine. The version that installed is 11.0InstallerXNPQ02R. My question is where is the cyanogenmod updater menu button in the about phone. All I have is system updated and cyanogenmod statistics. I have seen videos and such with the other menu option I am talking about.http://imgur.com/bx0wHj
Should I flash the most recent snapshot of the nexus 5 from the website? (which is cm11 m2) (download, move to phone, open recovery, install from zip)? Does this wipe my whole phone or just update using the zip?
or should I just wait for cyanogenmod updates via the system updates?
anyone know?
Is there no cm support thread?

Settings, About Phone, Cyanogenmod Updates - Tell it to manually refresh. Choose your update to install.
These do not wipe out your data. I am flashing them regularly. Take time to read the forum below. Some nightlies are better than others. As I am using this as a daily driver, I wait a day, read the forum to see if all hell has broken loose with a given nightly then flash.
The CM11 nightly thread can be found here:

The CM Installer works differently than community builds. Updates are handled through the "System Update" menu and they are true OTA updates.

[Q] Android L Preview to "Stable" update, clarification needed

Hi guys!
Small question, or rather clarification needed.
With Android L Preview installed on device will I get all upcomming release updates or stable, final version will require me to perform clean install?
I am just curious if Android L was really released for N5 or Preview version is really something totally different...
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app

Please post in this thread.
Note: When the final Android 5.0 system image becomes available, it will be posted on the Factory Images for Nexus Devices page. To continue development (and receive future system updates), you should update your device with that image as soon as possible.

Android Developer Preview Discussion Thread

Hey Guys,
Want to discuss about the latest android developer preview
Will share the findings here.
All are welcome to do it here.
Hope we can create a stable preview soon.
First of all, apps which need to pass a security check don't work in the current build:
- Netflix
- Pokemon Go
- Others?
* The new gesture navigations options can't be found yet under Settings > System > Gestures. Although you can find the 3 options if you search in the settings, you can't change it.
* Some settings can only be changed via the developer options (accent colors, icon shape).
* Signal bar is not visible in the notification bar
Yup.
And fortunately, i am not facing some problems which are mentioned on the Nokia's community page.
Some missing features which i noticed are -
1. Gestures
2.Buggy Download manager
3.VoLTE seems to be working but not completely. I can receive calls but not make calls and send/receive sms.
4.Camera works fine. However, its the vanilla version of Camera app provided by Qualcomm so nothing special expected from it. Nokia will replace that app with it's own in upcoming builds.
5.External storage like SD card is not accessible by third-party apps but only system apps compatible with Android Q . I guess there are some changes with Storage framework because of which apps are not able to access SD card. Checked this with Whatsapp, instagram.
6.Apps requiring Google certifications/safety net or something similar would not work because the OS is still in Development phase.
7.Fingerprint is working fine, but is slow.
8.Dark theme is not properly applied over settings app.
9.Files app crashes when refreshing.
If you are reading this and thinking to update to Android Q Dev Preview. I would like to clarify that the OS is still in development and may get even worse with every update.
So, if you are not ready to use other phone as a backup do not update to Q.
Definitely facing all the above mentioned issues, in addition to Whatsapp being unable to restore backups from Google drive.
Anyways i made the mistake as installing this as my daily driver... Do you guys have any idea if it's possible to rollback even if there's no official support for that?

just saw it... "We are currently unable to support rollback to Android 9 Pie. We hope to have manual rollback support available by 16 May 2019. The website will be updated as soon as manual rollback is available." https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_int/developer/
Manual roll
Hey guys just wanted to let you know that Nokia update their dev website with a manual Rollback method

This is preview beta. Very unstable and more for developers. When Q OTA comes your hardware won't change. That's permanent. ?

Yes I am too waiting for some one to start on custom rom.
---------- Post added at 02:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:33 PM ----------
as android app developer. want to start building up rom for our phone Nokia 8.1
not sure no body yet started discussion on this.
Nevermind...
There is any changes in Beta 5 OTA build? Because when I flashed developer preview manually, there was a serious bug, if I touch fingerprint sensor device was stopped working only reboot is option, even if device is just locked and if I touch on fingerprint device stopped working, so I simply rolled back to pie
Recently installed Android 10 OTA build version 00WW_4_070 (directly from pie). I see a working option to unlock the bootloader under the developer options page. Any devs working on rooting and/or a custom rom?

I installed the ota update (v5) last night. I had faced the same issue regarding the fingerprint sensor after manual install. For the time being, I see that the phone is working well. But when I m receiving calls, I am not able to answer right away. The phone app is freezing or disappearing in the background.

6T only at this time
can we directly flash from beta to stable without data loss? And do I get beta updates afterwards in the future?
Read the second post in the official OP6 forum link above.
How to install and consequences
1. Pie Open Beta to A10 Open Beta: Via OTA, no data loss.
2. Pie Stable to A10 Open Beta: By installing the beta package mentioned in the beta thread, no data loss.
3. A10 Developer Preview to A10 Open Beta: By installing the beta package mentioned in the beta thread, no data loss.
4. A10 Open Beta to Stable Pie / Pie Open Beta rollback: Use the rollback package in the Developer Preview 1 thread or the one in A10 Beta 1 thread, will constitute data loss.
5. A10 Open Beta to A10 Stable: No information as of yet if this can be directly done. History suggests that you need to use the rollback package to go back to Stable Pie and then either wait for the Stable A10 OTA or do a local upgrade to A10. Will constitute data loss.
Note: Initial reports say dirty flashing doesn't wipe data. But do it with precautions.
6. Pie Stable to A10 Stable: Via OTA, no data loss.
Note: As a precaution, it is always adviced to take a backup before any major android upgrade.

That space is beyong ugly, I'm going to wait a while before I will upgrade. A couple of things coming with 10 I already have using Macrodroid so no problemo ..

There is a bug with the fingerprint sensor. They can either release it and people start complaining and blaming OnePlus for releasing unfinished stuff or fix it and release it properly.
Thread without link download consider as scam post.. lol
I guess this is technically "news" but overall this thread is useless since stable 10 is not available for the OP6 yet.
What a clickbait. It's not out yet
UPDATE on Nov 4:
UPDATE on Nov 4:
OnePlus 6 users will gradually receive the update starting from later today. We welcome your active feedback via the feedback tool. With more issue reports and logs, the team can quickly focus on the issues and fixing them and then release the update to more users.
Well, it's not clickbait since they released it and then pulled it due to bug. And now is back again and I except the rollout to be even slower now, just in case.
There is a reasons like this why companies use staged rollout.
