[Q] How to move big games to External SD - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

Guys how to move/install games on External SD card? Bought a 16GB card just for that, and now when I try to move it to SD card via applications, it actually moves to USB storage (again, a part of internal memory). The phone is confusing SD card for internal USB storage
I want to do this without rooting. Any suggestions? Phone: Samsung Galaxy R
PS: I've tried App2SD, again it also moves the app from phone to USB storage.

Without rooting.. I don't think it is possible

Games installed on external sd card

Hey guys,
Is there a way to install my games (gameloft) into the external sd card instead of the internal?
You can partitian your SD card to store apps on it and transfer them from your internal to external memory

If you're rooted you can go to Rom Manager and do it there... You can go into manage apps and move them to your MicroSD card... There's also an app called app2sd that can move them there as well

Install apps into external sd

Hello. I have a Samsung galaxy s and android ( I think) froyo 2.21.
How do I install apps into NY external SD card? The micro SD card that i have inserted? Right now I can only install them into phone or internal SD card but i want to transfer them to my external SD card.
Is there an app for it? Or does rooting my phone solve the problem?
THANKS

I guess this is not possible maybe due to Android system. Titanium backup, App2SD and all other applications i know can only transfer to the internal SD and not to external one.
why dont get bigger internal SD card, maybe its still not enough perhaps
no update from thread stater ?

Install extra application data onto external SD card?

I'm trying to play this game on my Android phone (Samsung Exhibit II 4G) and the device has some built in memory. When I launch the game it says that I have to download extra data before I can play and I do. However I notice that it downloads into the internal memory rather than my 16 GB microSD. If I move the data onto the microSD and launch the game again, it asks me to download the data. Any way to get it to recognize that?

i have samsung galaxy s2 i9100G. My internal 16 gb memory is full and i want to put sd files in external sd card. Is there any way to put the sd data coz when i cut the sd data from internal to external sd card, the game again asks for downloading sd files. thanks
I would just leave it where it is, otherwise it won't notice it.

[Q] how to move big games to external sd i9003 root

hii how to move gameloft game to external sd which galaxy sl has internal memory n internal sd n external sd
and my phone was rooted i want move the games external sd because internal sd is 2gb only
there are apps for that like gl to sd,link to sd and many more and u can also swap ur external memory with internal.
Refer to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151078&highlight=swap+gingerbread.
Before swapping, try to use app like Link2SD, app to SD.
Good Luck
Have you tried gl to sd in the playstore?

Apps2sd on our 10.1

Queations to all....
Should a App2sd app be able to work on our Notes???
The reason im asking is because I had issues getting my 64g card to mount (ended up having to flash a recent OTA update from Samfirmware.com). I then wanted to move some of my apps to the 64g card but App 2 SD from the market says -
"The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary extremal storage is emulated. Moving app to SD may not be supported by this device. "
Is this normal? I have never come across this before on any Android device before! Or is it something to do with the 64g card? or the Notes file tree?

Yes it's normal. Samsung make some different approach here.
In my perspective when you used to choose "move to sdcard" in apps manager, the apps move from internal memory to internal storage (/sdcard).
(External microSD card is not on discussion so far, im only talking about tablet internal storage).
Now by default in Samsung devices all apps are going to /sdcard, so you dont have to move them beacuse the are alreday there.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
The solution for me (I have white SGN 10.1 16GB) is use DirectoryBind, i can have 20+ GB of games in external microSD Card.

Think your correct, makes sense anyway!!!
Could you elaborate more on this directory Bind thing you mentioned? ??

DirectoryBind main feature is to link/bind folders with data that are in external micro sd card, to empty folders with the same name that must be in /sdcard/Android/data or /sdcard/Android/obb. So games and apps thinks they're using internal storage but in fact data is in external micro sd card. This way you save the 11 gb reserved for storage.
