I just replaced my Dell Streak with the Inspire a couple days ago and I want to flash a new ROM on it to get rid of the ATT bloat on it. What ROM seems to be the best? Thanks for the help!
Coredroid or LeeDroid for a sense Rom

Or CM7, MIUI, or anything based on CM7, if you don't like Sense.
CM7 Inspire 4G
If you were running DJ Steve roms you will like the interface of CM7.

I flashed CoreDroid last night and I love it. I assume that I'll get the itch to switch before long so I'll try a bunch of ROMs but this was a good starting point.
I did run DJ Steve's ROM's so I'll have to give CM7 a shot next.
Thanks!
Hi i am such a big fan of nexus s n android n i heard that nexus s will be getting an ics update. the big question is..should i download manualy the ics update when it comes out n download cm7 for ics(if available in future) or i should just stick to ics without any other roms like cyanmod.
My nexus s is rooted n is curently running cm7
Thanks alot guys!!!!
There will be a rooted ics rom very shortly after the source is released... then cm9 or 8 shortly after that.

Here is what I am wondering is it possible for a flashed phone with the MikMik rom on it to be flashed to 2.3 gingerbread. I recently purchased this phone with MikMik on it and want to go to 2.3 Gingerbread. Any help would be appreciated.
What version of the rom are you running? The current versions (MikShifted-G at least) are a GB rom (2.3.3)
Yeah mostly all our roms are Gingerbread base. If you look at the software information under settings it will tell you what Android version you are on

Click to collapse
You can run the RUU to go back to stock gingerbread but you will lose all root access or there are stock gingerbread roms with root access on the second or third page of the development section. I would link you to it but I'm on my phone

Would it be possible to use the to use the stock ICS ROM on the Sensation?
Just plain ICS like on the Galaxy Nexus...
Just noob question but I do like the look of my friends Nexus.
Virtuous Quattro is the closest you'll get right now.

ICS Rom for the Sensation 4G
Virtuous Quattro is a great ICS rom for the Sensation but i like OnceICS. It is in version 1.0.7z and it is running Android 4.0.3. The only issues i have is WiFi calling and I have had 1 random reboot.
does any of them support custom kernels yet
On all of the different ICS roms that I have looked at, SebastionFM's kernel is the only hacked kernel that is mentioned. However, it seems to have stability issues, especially on the 4.0.3 builds. So, it is pretty much recommended to keep the kernel stock.
Plus, they run pretty good stock anyways. At least insertCoin does, which is what I have used 98% of the time so far.
Hope I helped
Thank you to all who helped!
Hello.
I am not really a fan of the Sense UI and would really prefer using Stock ICS. I along with my Sensation 4G have an HP TouchPad running CM9 on it. I would prefer to have a consistent experience in between the two devices. My Sensation runs on T-Mobile USA and has been unlocked through the HTCdev website. I know I would have to root as well. So what is the best AOSP ROM that I can have on my phone? Thanks for the input!
EDIT: I have updated to ICS OTA already.
since u use cm9 already, should try all of them. just becareful alot user bricked their phone...
I don't know if I would want to try CM9 on here only because I heard it isn't stable quite yet.
It's got problems, as do all AOSP roms
