xda mini + motorola s9 = no music? HELP

Hi i'm a total newbie to this have paired the device works fine as a handfree but not as a headset?
a chap here sent me a file installed it and now i have additional bt settings for audio etc but still no music?
also now the mp3's upon my storage card will not play in window media player any longer?
At a total loss???
any help appreciated

I used to own an xda mini S just like you do and i used it with my motorola HT820 without any problems. First and foremost, I think you should uninstall that app that you're talking about (i think i read in another thread of yours that the person who gave that to u was under the impression that you had an xda mini and not an xda mini S).
Once you are able to uninstall it (via Settings-System-Remove Programs), pair your S9 again. Try it this way,
1st make sure both bluetooth are off (device and S9)
2nd Turn on your S9 bluetooth
3rd go to Settings-Connections-Bluetooth and under the Mode tab, make sure that "turn on blueooth" and "make this device visible..." are checked, then go to the Device tab, click on Add New Device
4th Follow the steps on your fone
***Make sure you have both "set as wireless stereo" and "set as handsfree" checked***
That should do it, now start your music player (windows media player or whatever u have) and you should be listening to ur music now...unless there's something wrong with ur fone or S9

CM 10.1 Rom problem with Sony SBH50 Blootooth

Help needed~
I loaded the CM10.1 rom and everything works fine except with my Bluetooth device Sony SBH-50. I was able to pair the Bluetooth device but can't play the music or get the notifications from the "sony extras (gmail, sms, missed call log, calendar notification etc)" software. When i press the "play" button, my song came out from the speaker instead of my earphones.
Are there any ways you guys can help to fix the problem cause i love the rom to the max!

Hi, thanks of your help. I had downloaded and installed the software but still cant solve the problem. When i press the play button on my bluetooth, the music come out from my phone's speaker. Any idea what is happening? I wish to post on the developer page for his attention, but nt enough post..

Try to reset the bluetooth. I had the same problem. At first it was working ok but since i`ve paired it with two devices your problem appeared. After restarting the settings of SBH50 it`s ok.

I have a quick question with regards to sbh50 how big is distance range of this headset 10 meter or around 100. In spec is 10m however I have got wm600 and they have 10 as well but it works up to 100 meter. Reg, margap

Im also get the same bug.. But im using Nokia BH-214 bluetooth headset.. As he mention, the device completely paired and connect.. But when push play button at the bluetooth device, the music come from phone speaker instead of bluetooth earpieces.. Please help us..

[Q] Llama not working since UCUFNI1 OTA update

I had Llama set up so that the following actions would occur when car bluetooth connects:
1. turn on car mode
2. send media play (android 3.0+) button
3. turn off wifi
and when car bluetooth disconnects:
1. turn off car mode
2. send media pause (android 3.0+) button
3. turn on wifi
It worked perfectly for many months until yesterday when I received the OTA update from AT&T on my I337 Galaxy S4, which updated android from UCUFNC1 to UCUFNI1. Now when the bluetooth connects, car mode turns on and wifi turns off (just like I wanted) but the default music player doesn't turn on and play music like it did before. The music player doesn't even turn on now. I've tried reconfiguring, rebooting, uninstalling and re-installing Llama, but nothing works. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Have you tried first adding a command for starting the music player app before the send play button command?
Cause that's what I had to add to get my BT setup to work correctly via Llama:
Eg.
Run Play Music

I fixed it! All I had to do change the order and put 'car mode' last in the actions.
Car mode is supposed to put the phone in a hands-free mode for driving where it does things like read the texts you receive out loud.

BT + Car , After the next song No Sound

Hi everione ,
I have Problem with playing my music in my Car via BT .
I connect my phone withouth problems to my Car (A4 , 2017) and then start to play the first Song. It is working very well .
But.... after trafic news, which i quit via car button .... comes no more sound from te car speacers out . The next think is , I have the same problem after I try to play next song or any advertising comes.. you know .. youtube etc. ...
1st. songs works well but the next is withouth sound....
The phone is playing the song but there is no sound in car speakers. My car shows the song is playing (time) .. but.. no sound.
I am Up to date .. my Apps are reseted, my network connections are reseted, I don`t have Root,
Ppls , I have no Idea what i can do more....
My Idea was to reinstall BT , but i propably i need for this the root rights ......
I ask better firt befor i Brick my phone..

Have you consider this is a car's infotainment error ? Maybe the phone is OK and is not fully recognized by car bluetooth . Try the phone with other bluetooth player , make any other verification and see which one is faulty , car or your phone . In my opinion phone is fine .
