[Q] Root for IML77 Kyocera Rise - General Questions and Answers

Anyone know how to root a Kyocera Rise? It's my brother's phone. Every time I Google Search (IML77 Root) the Motorola Xoom comes up. IML77 is the build number. CS5155 is the model. I really need to put root on his phone. Google has been no help. Anyone know how to do it/if it CAN be done?

TMobile MyTouch 4G (LG-E739) Rooting

Anyone know if a new root has been developed for the mytouch LG-E739? Phone got updated to...
Android Ver 2.3.6
Kernel 2.6.35.7-perf
Build GRK39F
Software Ver. V10r-Mar-13-2012
Update killed everything on my phone. So if you have root dont install it if you want to keep it. Any help or new root method would be greatly appreciated!
re rooting lg e739
What did you use to root it initially? What have you tried to reroot it? I'm not a developer but I do own a lg e739. I was worried the update would potentially stop us from rooting and think if you tell me a little bit we can find a way to get past it.

[Q] Root Huawei U8681 (G312)

Just got a new phone, wanted to root it, didn't want it bricked.
I have the Java SDK and Android SDK ready to go. Downloaded Superoneclick.
Haven't seen any info about successful Huawei roots, so I just wanted to check and make sure it's safe.
Running Android 4.0.3 from WIND Mobile.
I've done this before with a Motorola XT720 running 2.1, never with a Huawei device or anything running ICS
Can I do this or will it brick my phone?
Thanks
Anybody???
I know there is a compatibility list with SuperOneClick and I don't want to brick my device.
I have the same question. Apparently our phone is quite the rarity and only 2 or 3 carriers in the world sell it.
I found the method:

Hi there,
If you have the July update you can still root your phone, it's just that there is not a BOOTLOADER unlock for that update yet. The exploit used pre-july OTA was fixed. So while not impossible, no one has been able to come up with an exploit.

[Q] PLEASE HELP! How can I root my UMX MaxBravo u670c without a PC?

Dear Developers,
I need help with a problem that I've encountered trying to root this android that I recently purchased. Specifically, my phone is a UMX MaxBravo u670c. The model version is 2.3.6. The carrier is with Net10 and it's a 3g network that runs on it. I've tried multiple method, but all have failed. I'm starting to lose hope. I do understand that this could be done via PC, but I don't own one. So I figured it shouldn't be so difficult to root this phone, but I was wrong. I see a lot of answers and solutions to a majority of androids out there, but finding anything on my phone from a credible and trusted source is nearly impossible to. scarce. Please help! So far I've tried : z4root, gingerbreak, the update.zip. method
