Any other bugs are most likely from MIUI v4 itself (like how you have to occasionally press the power button a couple times to get the screen to come back on in a call)
Other Information:
- It has been known that with the new v3 kernel, that if you experience horrible batteryu life that when you calibrate your battery it goes away. You can calibrate your battery with the MIUI Toolbox app
- Wifi calling has terrible battery drainage on this rom. The wifi calling app took up about 60% in battery stats (so I removed it)
- Confused? View the Beginners guide
- This seems to be an issue in all other CM9 roms with the v3 kernel. Occasional sleep insomnia, just use trackpad wake
- Miui v4 is still in its beta stages so be careful using some of themes in the themes app as they might not be made for Miui v4
- To use the included v6 Supercharger, type the following in terminal:

I'm getting way better battery life with this than cm10. Getting close to 14 hours with careful controlling of wake locks and unnecessary features.

Is video camera something achievable in the foreseeable future? Or shod I just give up on cm9 and wait for cm10?

No it wont, causes boot loops, plus all the fixes are fixed in the kernel trying to get back from recovery/rom boot loops.
Edit: In case someone else tries this in the future.
Just download the rom if not on computer already
Extract the boot.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
then boot into recovery
wipe cache/dalvik
reflash cm9

Download not working.

Can i get away with flashing this over the last cm9 build, or has there been enough changes that i need to wipe?

It is my understanding from the CM10 thread that CM9 won't be made official because, as-of the release of JB, the official CM team has moved toward supporting CM10 only.
As for CM10, the devs can work toward making our build official once it is mostly working. At least, that's my understanding of the situation.

So they got official cm9 to rc status and dropped it?

FWIW, we are still working on merging cm9 up. Our focus is getting JB done though.

[MOD][1/27/13][DEPRECATED] Video camera fix for RebelROM Senseless JB Beta

Note: This camera fix is now included in the newly-updated 1/27 version of RebelROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37254019. Yay!
I am leaving this thread up in case anyone still wants the standalone ZIP file, but the best thing to do would be to download the latest version of the ROM from bpear's thread.
Warning: This is my first attempt at any sort of Android development so I take no responsibility for anything up to - and including - your phone exploding. Make sure to backup before flashing this MOD. If you forget to backup, at least make sure you have a copy of the original ROM to re-flash.
I am a big fan of the RebelROM JellyBean Beta ROM released back in December. Unfortunately the developer, bpear96, is incredibly busy and hasn't had time to fix the one major issue that remained - the video camera crash.
Since I really want to keep using this ROM - but I also really want a working video camera - I have created a flashable ZIP to fix the issue until the ROM gets an official update. :victory:
Instructions: Just flash the ZIP in recovery. I've only tested this with TWRP, and since CWM is not officially supported on the One XL, that's really what you should have installed, anyway.
As far as I can tell, everything is working - I briefly tested 1080p recording, slow motion recording, and taking a still shot while recording. I also tested panorama mode and a couple of third-party cameras, which all worked without issue. I'm pretty confident we should be good to go, but please let me know if you run into any problems.
I deserve no real credit, as I just followed the instructions here:

Honestly I've never actually flashed it, but my understanding is that it fixes the off-theme LTE signal in the status bar. By default in the ROM it's a white "4G" icon that's off-center from the rest of the status bar icons.

[MOD][XPOSED] Proximity Fix [1.0][HTC 4.2.2]

Xposed mod: Proximity Fix for JB 4.2.2
Problem: periodically prox. sensor not working on the calls (in/out) - screen stay on, and works only if the phone moved from the head and back to again.
This small mod fixes problems with proximity sensor instability during calls for 4.2.2 base roms.
Made special for 2.17.401.1 stock-based ROMs (android 4.2.2)
You MUST accept that you use any modification at your own risk
If you want to try it, follow these steps:
If not done yet or included in your custom ROM, install the Xposed framework as described in this thread (requires root)
Install the attached APK and activate the module in the Xposed installer (this is also described in the framework thread)
Reboot
Report please if this mod work for you.

Seems that it was affecting only a few models only. Not everyone had the problem.

I have an issue where when someone calls or when im calling someone the sensor won't work the first time i put it near my ears, easily fixed by taking the phone away then putting it back.

I stand corrected. I never had the problem until right now. The only thing I've done is dirty flash ARHD 10.2. Maybe that did it?

This is necessary because the stock kernel on GE 4.3 is compiled without support for modules.
Sorry, no wp_mod for 4.3. Complaints can be directed to HTC.
Devs are free to use this in their ROMs (credit would be nice)

I gave my One Silver fully GE coverted S-Off with MMS Emoji customized by me (my operator only works with 600 ko MMS) to my girlfriend.
The problem is that my new One black is 1.54 Hboot with S-On so, not fully convertible for the moment. All the different Roms are write protected in the system, so after rebooting my customized MMS apk was vanishing...Grrrrr.
With your kernel no more problem, it's working like a charm, my emojis are back and i can finally decrypt my girlfriend texting , and sending MMS.

Like it was said a few posts earlier, you can use the old kernel to patch the new one, it's still good for the new update of the rom.
