Broken front glass :( - HTC Butterfly

Hi,
This morning i wanted to take out my butterfly from my pocket and put it on counter. Accidentally it crashed to counter and dropped to surface. Result is broken front glass :crying: After that, i applied screen guard (modified Note 2 screen guard ) to protect glass to not to disperse everywhere.
I can use my device without any problem but it is necessary to replace its front housing. I had a look to ebay but cannot find anything for X920D. can anybody help me to choose what i need to buy.

I had ordered a digitizer for x920d but it didn't fit to my device. After that, i contacted a lot of seller from ali express, they told me that they don't have just digitizer for my device. Last, i decided to buy lcd assembly digitizer. But it was so expensive
Two days ago my order has arrived to my country. It will be delivered in a few days. If it won't fit again, i will contact to get suppliers e-mail. Thank you for all...

Turns out, that it is imposible to disaasembly(e?) lcd and digitaizer, because LCD is glued with all area, not only the edges... So it is no use to by digitaizer only.

ZAGG invisibleShield For Desire S

Hey everyone. I got my invisible shield yesterday. Full body coverage. Carphone Warehouse £17.99. Installed it yesterday. Pleased with results.
As you can see in the pictures, there are still water bubbles on the front screen protector, but they are still drying up.
Now I am rest assured my desire s will remain scratch-free!
Sorry for the poor quality, shot on a 3mp tg01 camera.
Any questions, request more pictures, and I will be glad to answer!

Hi! I always try and avoid cheap screen protectors because they get scratched easily and they make the screen much more reflective. If you want a quality protector I recommend the case mate or official HTC protector. For a case, there are loads avalable like Amazon etc!

I have tried an ebay anti glare screen protector branded "Screen Guard professional". These are the easiest I have tried to apply without bubbles but do give the screen a rather unattractive grainy effect where white areas are viewed. I have gone back and ordered some clear ones from the same range.
Are the water bubbles already completely gone?
Nice, but I don't see a need for a full body. For me a screen protector is enough.

The screen protector doesn't even cover up the proximity sensor. There is a cut out for it...

Is it the metal part that's damaged or 1 of the two plastic things?
Because you can order those seperately

It is only metal part damaged. But i don't think i will disassemble and resemble cover, `cause i don't think it can be easily done and not to be like stock. Probably i will order whole back case assembled [metal part + plastic, antennas ...]

I don't know but by the looks of our hoX..its difficult to separate the glass from the digitizer..i tried it with my friend's HoX and i already tried heating it but it wouldn't separate..
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
it is extremely difficult if not impossible to separate the glass from the lcd on our screens unfortunately without damaging one or both of the components. Don't get me wrong, I've seen it been done, but it's very risky. I also dont advise using just any adhesive when dealing with our phones. use the suggested 3m adhesive when replacing the lcd+screen, I think its fairly cheap now. I used some crazy glue I bought at the store and it turned out damaging my screen a bit, so a small strip across the screen didn't recognize touch, which was very annoying. Gonna be replacing it again very soon.

Camera Lens Glass cracked

I cracked the glass on my camera lens. What can be done about fixing it??
I know insurance covers it, but only if I pay the $200 deductible. HTC can fix it for next to nothing in cost, but that requires I mail the phone to california, wait for it to be fixed and for them to mail it back.
I have found the entire back portion of the phone available on eBay for $40 however after closer look, these are all for the HTC One X, not the HTC One XL.
I was talking to a friend of mine and he says the glass is just a very thin piece of protection and you really dont need it so I should just remove it. As it is now, the camera takes extremely blury photos. Any ideas on how best to fix this? If the glass is not important, I might just remove it entirely but it'd be nice if I could fix it somewhat cheaply.
i have to ask how the hell did you crack your lens cover

I'm pretty sure it happened while I was working. I keep my phone clipped into my seidio active holster. The case keeps the phone protected quite well. I've dropped the phone from the height of 4-8' several times, without any adverse effects.
I know the night I was working on a large data/phone cabling job, I am sure I did not drop it. But when I went to take my photos, they all came out blury and I found its cracked. Has two cracks, forming sort of an X. I would bet you that it happened while I was working on the hard tile floor and rolled over on top of something hard like one of my tools or something. Possibly. Still unsure.

I did call AT&T warranty, I was told that they do not cover small issues like cracked glass on the camera lens. They will only replace the phone if it was not working... like a bad micro usb port or something. If I was more sleezy than I already am, I would break it so that I can get it replaced. But I'm not doing that.

I recently won a One S from the Big Android BBQ here in Texas. I like it, but have found a few issues with it. It's a 'global' unlocked, unbranded version, and it's pretty sweet.
Any how, just thought I'd introduce myself and hope you guys will go easy on me...
