I'm going to buy one today which color is better?

Which one looks nice the gray or the white and why ????

Which color do you like more? No one else can answer that for you. I got the white mostly because I ordered the unlocked gsm version and that was the only color but I like it.

I like both but which one do you think have the more expensive look and feel among the two.

I got the White since almost every tablet is dark in color.... And I wanted to be different. :victory:

Having owned a white Samsung Epic 4G Touch, let me warn you on the white. Samsung uses soft plastic and it get's easily stained.
I have the dark graphite model and will not show dirt (other than finger oil smudges).

I got dark grey so I wouldn't be mistaken for an iPad d-bag.
White is the new generic color. White to most = iPad. My Note phone is white and I'm not a huge fan. I've actually been thinking about getting rid of it for something smaller.

The bezel on the white note looks bigger because of its color but the only thing i like about the white is that it has a glossy texture which makes it feel more expensive than the gray or is it the opposite?

The back of the gray unit looks like graphite in texture even though it is just plastic. I like it personally.

I pre ordered the grey for my wife. Apparently one of the few females that doesn't like whites!
I like my white galaxy s3 though.

That sounds a little bit racist! Obviously not meant to be, but it just immediately made me think of someone saying "My wife, now she don't like them whites!" Good laughs.
To the point though, I have a Galaxy Player and I really like the white on it. However, the front is black so it tones it down. I've been looking for white note 10.1s , but they're going fast, or there weren't as many. I may just go dark grey so I can get it from Newegg now. Online shopping, no tax but you can't trade it in as easily if you made the wrong choice.

I've had a white e-reader and it was a mistake - white border makes the screen look worse somehow. On LCD it might not be such issue though because it's brighter.

I bought the gray - really like it. I'm not into the white because of the finger-stain possibility. At least to my eyes, the gray looks fairly classy (although as someone else stated, it doesn't really make it stand out from the crowd....).

I got the deep grey because to me it looks nicer, is probably less prone to getting dirty and isn't mistaken for a white Apple dumbPad.

Can't agree more with that, seems like ipad users like the white border...

If my white E4GT is any indication the white plastic stains easily.

Which color to get?

Hey guys, I intend on getting a note soon and my question is, which color should I get? Obviously preference is the answer here but I'm a bit afraid if I get the white one it would inevitably get some markings soon and look disgusting. With that said I do own a white sgs2 which is flawless after owning for many months. But that is because it's under constant protection from a case and screen protector. Can't say I'd do the same to the note. Also the grey looks a bit tacky as opposed to if they had gone with black like the tab (speaking in terms of the bezel only). So any insight on this from owners of both colors? Thanks.

I think its your personal preference I chose grey ( i still do not know why it is called that as the back is bluish as S3) over white because its back has that metallic look which I like but anyways it always going to be in a cover so it wont make much of a difference. But like I said its what you see and like

If the white case is like the S2 then it will get stained but I have no trouble with marks on my white S3... Still white and looking good....
Personally I prefer the blue s3so I got one of those too but it seems samsung changed the plastics used on the s2 and s3 as the s3 really doesn't seem to stain....
Not sure about the note 10.1 but as it came out after the s3 you'd assume that the materials would be the same as the s3....

I wanted white first, because grey didn't looks good on pictures, but reality in grey is much more better. I have grey one with original grey bookcase and it looks much more vauleable.
Go for grey!

I got a brand new white on eBay for $450. It'll match my phone now I guess. Just need to find a case now.

grey for me
Grey looks fine less contrast with the screen.
I do like white i own a galaxy note 2 which looks very nice in white same thing for s3 and s2 which i still own.
For the tablet my advice buy grey. It won't get dirty but like I said before the contrast white to black screen makes grey the best choice.

I have a grey and my son has a grey. I got the grey because I didn't want anyone asking me how I liked my Ipad. But we both keep them in a case so you really cant see the color. I'm sure I would have been put on the Apple lawsuit if I had gotten a white one. You know Apple invented the color white.

i have white and its very good and untill now i dont have case but i clean my tablet everyday untill my case arrive from china

I just got mine yesterday (thank you slickdeals!!). I went for the white one because it looks prettier to me, but the gray actually doesn't look bad in person. In the pictures I saw, gray looked waaaay ugly, but when you hold it in your hand and play with it, it really is kind of a good looking color. Unfortunately, light gray + dark gray is still not as pretty as light gray + white.. so.. there you have it.

I personally like the metallic finish the grey has been given though I like white as well but considering the conditions in India where even Taj Mahal has lost its white color I do not think white of note will last it full distance

Most ppl in this thread suggesting grey colour but in the other thread in general section, if im not mistaken, has been discussing about the built quality between the two colours, and most user report that white unit has significant better built quality over the grey unit.

I have the grey and love it. I was torn between white and grey but when i caved in and actually went to buy it they only had grey so i went with that. I own a GS3 in the blue and they actually match surprisingly well. i often use them side by side and people always comment on how nice they look together.

Not sure about the inherent quality differences of "white" and "gray" but since both of them are the same price, I considered them having the same in usefulness and performance...
Anyway, I got gray... and when you put it in protective case, color seems no longer a prominent feature...

Seconded, gray is better for video reasons too imo, since you wont be distracted by the boundary color

Gray because appel is white.

Pebble Blue vs Onyx Black

So as we all may know, the black Galaxy s 3 was recently released for Verizon. I have 2 options right now
1.) get the pebble Blue galaxy s 3 today
2.) wait about 7 days to get the black gs3
So my main question is right now is there a huge difference between the two colors? I know that in some lighting the blue actually does look black at times and as for the onyx black Galaxy s 3 I never exactly seen it in person yet. Any suggestions?

I suggest u buy the black one and ill trade u my blue one lol

I like the brown...looks like wood grain to me.
My blue just looks black in the TPU case...except the volume and power buttons...those look purple. :/

man, i really like the brown one in pics too! i thought i was the only one.
for the OP, the blue looks really cool. however, the purple-ish home button does bother some people, and it does limit your cases a little, if you care about colors clashing. that said, i personally would go with the blue over the black, but it's your phone and you'll have to look at it all the time.
also, a lot of the time, the blue does look black, or at least a dark navy blue. it mainly pops under more direct light when you can see the graining pattern

Yep pretty much what you said. Im fine with that purple home button look. Its just a color on a phone. People complain too much.

I just ordered the blue one. I was thinking about getting black but then something dawned on me. Every phone I've owned has been black. Well, except the Nexus One, but that's mainly because it was made of aluminum (hence it was grey). The reason every other phone I've owned was black was because they were only offered in that color. I decided it was time for a change! Besides, blue is my favorite color anyway. Although, I'll probably end up putting a black case on it...

Wow, this is why there is a choice I guess.
I probably would have gone with black if it was available at the time instead of blue, but I kinda like my blue one.
On the other hand, I think the blow lunch brown is so ugly that if that was the only color it came in I might have gone for an entirely different phone.lol

I already have the Blue one, i like it a lot, i don't really notice the "purple" home button... only time i see it is when i have my thumb over it really anyway so it's pretty well covered up. Even when using my phone i'm not looking down at the hardware buttons, i'm looking at the keyboard, picture, game, phone dial buttons, video chat, movie, etc. Only time i even really notice the color is when i'm playing music and my phone's sitting on my desk next to my kb/mouse upside down and even then, i mostly just note how many finger prints are on it rather than the color. I haven't used a case sense the original TPU case messed up my first screen protector, ever since it's been naked and hasn't a scratch on it. Pretty tough freakin' phone tbh.

I was looking at the black one at the verizon store and they used the same purple home button as the blue one. That's very sad of Samsung

My brother owns a black samsung galaxy s3 and it has to be one of the sexiest phones in the market. He bought blue first but exchanged it with black after two days. If you put a case on your phone, the color of the phone will hardly matter. But if you intend to use it without a case, you could not do better than black.

I think the blue is hideous! I'd go with black or brown. The brown looks amazing in person.

They do not use a blue home button on the black S3. You must have been looking at a blue one in bad lighting.

I just received the black one from amazon. It looks great. Why does the screen dim every time I get on the Internet or watch a video. Is there a way to turn that off?

I figured it out. You have to pull up settings in the Internet & uncheck auto brightness. Same for videos too.

Go with the white. Khomo makes a black rubberized battery cover that looks absolutely amazing with the white from and silver trim. I'll put a pic up in a little bit to show you. The blue one has a semi little color blue on the side... Just my 2cents

White for sure. The S3 was my first white phone and it is just super classy.

Sorry I was wrong. Ugly dots aka carbon fiber esque on both colours makes me want to puke. A disgrace to all designers worldwide. Either way, it's ugly. May the ugliest colour dominate them all. As I would say, let plastic be plastic. Don't imitate other materials.

I think I might do the white one and get a lightweight case that's colored. Not sure yet. I definitely like the white over the black though.

Black would have been even better if they had a grey one again.

Then atleast once try a white. I did it back when my note was released and still love the white. It looks different and classy. Black is a standard color. But nowdays greybis also looking good. But since u never tried white. I will recommend u to at least try it once.

The exact same thing for me, but then I decided on the 12gb ram model and that only comes in the Nebula Blue so glad I decided blue before hand lol. Previously I've had ALL black phones except the Nexus 6P, that was the silver one.

Nebula Blue cause blue rules and it's beautiful.

Touche. And ditto right back at ya. Sorta lets other 1+ owners let you know you're in possession of a higher tier phone. The almond isn't out and seems to be capped at what, 8gb ram for the time being? I wanted 12gb and 256. Plus the nebula was just a change from the norm...

I got the grey version, only because I detest blue. I really wish I could have gotten the 12gb version in grey, but hey whatever. I thought about getting the blue version, and swapping the back plate, but the frame was blue as well.

I got the mirror gray color 8/256 model. I went to T-Mobile on launch day and the only color they had was mirror gray. I took it because I wanted the phone already. My brother got the nebula blue color and it looks awesome but the gray color has grown on me. Also everything is going to have the blue color. So I like having a color that most likely wont be as popular.

I ordered both but after getting the Mirror Gray in my hands I canceled my Nebula Blue order. The gray is super clean looking and doesn't stand out and that's exactly why I like it. I'm not a blue fan for anything, especially not on my phones.

Mirror grey, only because the TMobile store didn't have nebula blue. Have a wood skin on it now.
