I am bought the Samsung Galaxy S 3 (verizon) LTE version and wants to use it in Germany.
I have the phone rooted with the the latest version of Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightly, because the Amerikan Verizon version had not installed any German language.
The following problem
Now running a normal German O2 simcard . I get no network with GSM/3G or UMTS.
The German language in combination with the German Mobilenetwork and Internet would be perfect!!!
Can it be that the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE versions not support German Stock Android versions?
The Original Stock from the Verizon I535 S3 has only support American English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean language selection

Try using "phone info" app to change network type and see if you get network. For data use Hiapn app.

Badly Need help from xda Developers!!!
I recently came across a big problem. I got my Motorola MZ 601 from United states with build version H.6.5-17-1 runnint on Android 3.2
I Bought the devices from states as company unlocked with an intention to use it in India with 3g cellular networks but to my surprise the device will only detect a certain operator sim card which are not offering the 3g service but at the same time When i insert a 3g enable sim card it wont detect the simcard at all!!
After doing research on various forums i came across xda and motodev site which offered firmware Build H.6.1-38-9 for Retail Other International
MD5 Sum: 0e30f60feac30c752a0bf41d35f2f4d3 Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, New Zealand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, South Africa, Israel for the MZ601 - XOOM WITH WI-FI + UMTS device.
I am not sure if i should re flash the device using the Build H.6.1-38-9 firmware. Also if i do so then will it resolve the problem ?

in your quiet tout said you have Xoom labeled as Mz601 model then it has to be UMTS Everest 3G device and flashing the firmware meant for the UMTS Everest 3G should support 3G Sim cards, like the one released by team EOS. Please verify your device model first though.

The model number is same as mentioned MZ601. The. Device is quipped with 3g and wifi.

Guys need a firmware for the galaxy s3 T999 with the Russian language, and more economical energy. Who can you think of that? Russian language can be pulled from the Canadian firmware

I'm new to smartphones and am looking to buy the Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 4G LTE 16GB from MobiCity UK (I'm based in the UK). I've looked at the standard (non LTE) version but want to buy SIM free and with some future proofing.
Under 'Specifications' it states 'Important Information' as "This discounted stock has a HK ROM with UK or US English locales."
Questions:
1) Is this safe to buy? What does this mean: 'HK ROM'?
2) Anyone had any dealings with MobiCity UK and if so, are they any good?

First time poster here so hoping to drop this off in the right place. I have a brand new (out of the box) Samsung Galaxy S4 which I just purchased from my Boostmobile dealer the other day. Installed the latest Cynogenmod on it only to find that LTE did not work. 3G works fine but this prompted me to look around for help. After discussing in #SGS4 on freenode, I wiped the phone and installed the latest Optimized cm 12.1 build. Again, same problem. LTE does not work and 3G does.
Model: SPH-L720
ROM: OptimizedCM-12.1-20150817
Carrier: Boost Mobile
Something tells me my problem relates to the carrier?
