Real or not? Obviously the scores will not be like this when product is finished as my s600 s4 scores higher unrooted, stock and full of bloat.
but the main question here is why bother they have an overclocked Exynos 1.8ghz already, My guess is they are using south korea as test ground before releasing stuff to the rest of the world. Who knows what samsung is planning..
This is rumor, scores are low, for s800 need be more than 35k

Qualcomm has been touting some very dubious and unrealistic wattage values for their SoCs. Extreme thermal throttling to fit in a phone TDP while still having top frequency for bursts is something that might become common. Considering the S800 target market, it wouldn't surprise me.
Still this might be true, and this phone would be a Beast!!!
This is not rumor...even though it is not officially confirmed, as the note III.

I saw this news a couple of days ago, It is no more news. They also explain why the device has low score. This device will be only available in South Korea.
I have already return my i9505 and offer i9500 to my father. I am actually not interested in the Galaxy s4. I would prefer Galaxy Note 3.
No love for the rest of the world

So I'm not one to complain about the phone but I feel like my phone has always been sub par with everybody else's scores. Quadrant and An Tutu are bother terrible, and are consistently terrible no matter the ROM I flash. Seems to actually get worse.. what should I do? Flash a stock looking ROM and ask for a replacement and lose root?

Dude, don't worry. I just ran AnTuTu on my old Motorola Backflip and got 508. I got 230 in Quadrant.
Assuming you don't have a million apps running in the background, yeah yours does seem to suck a bit.
I got 6939 in Antutu.
Try to do the swap, but remember that your bootloader screen shows ***TAMPERED*** in big letters up the top so you may well get denied. In Australia you definitely would.
Benchmarking is useless. Ignore them.
Sorry, but if you return the phone because of low benchmarks then please move on to an Apple product...benchmarks literally mean nothing (as long as you're happy with its performance).

Not sure if you're rooted or not, but try to run benchmarks when the device is cool or even cold. These devices will lower CPU frequency depending on temperature. If you are rooted then set min to max on setcpu, keep the amount of installed apps to a minimum and try a cache cleaner. I did all those and cooling the device to a chill resulted me with this
Sent from my HTC One XL
Im guessing the HOX that is beating yours is the Int. model
Does your benchmark score effect your phones day to day performance? Probably not. Just forget about benchmarks and enjoy your awesome phone.

Alright guys I did some more tweaks and got a pretty good antutu score today. It was probably because my phone was hot or something which was why my scores were so bad. For tomorrow I'm going to test some underclocking on stock, to see if I can improve battery life. But scores now:

Anyone know why the last test in Quadrant, the spinning thing runs at such low fps? It is usually in the low 30's which if I recall was way less then my GNEX on that part.
This is stock, not overclocking or anything.

It's not a low cpu score, the 2 under it are both quad core cpus. If you put it against the first dual core on the chart it destroys it.

There is a lot of depth of field in a spiral dna chain especially when it's rotating.
I usually get mid 30's on that portion.

Looks like your CPU is underclocked or set to a power-saving governor. Check the Performance tab under settings.
Honestly, it's not worth worrying about, unless you really care about benchmarks. Are you noticing any actual performance issues in day-to-day use?
Arbitrary numbers mean nothing.
As long as your phone handles the task, who cares?
Why in the wrong section

Quadrant scores are always a bit lower on AOSP builds. Doesn't mean squat for real world performance.

nice one
The only Android phone I've had where Quadrant scores are really high compared to stock with Cyanogenmod was an Atrix. It jumped from around 2500 to 5500.That's 3000 over stock. It didn't show too much of a difference though like it sounds. Every other phone I've stayed nearly the same or a little less.
Mine. Running expiramentalx kernel and viper rom ice cream sandwich version.

my s3 gets 6000 on touchwiz and 4500 on cm10.1
it is probably making our devices slower, but the project butter makes us not notice lol
I can't believe no-one has flamed you.... Ok, this one's for you...
Benchmarks means nothing! ! !
Jk with you
I don't know why that is. Have you tried playing with developer options? I've never gotten lower benchmarks on cm.

damn it seems like hardware is quickly outpacing the software in phones.
I don't know what anyone is going to do with so much power in a phone. In a tablet I can understand it but not in a phone, unless you're running a 21" monitor off your phone and running Ubuntu, then maybe.

its not really a true octa core, its basically a a9 quad combined to a a15 quad core, it uses the a9 cores for normal use while using the a15 cores for gaming or other heavy tasks
I think we shouldn't called it 8-core. It is 2xquad-core but I understand their. 8-core sounds better... I think it's a small lie. But it's my own opinion.
Who wants to over clock this?

Maybe cause of Snapdragon processor ? I'm getting same result with my stock 5.1.1 Exynos Note 4 (last test was 51280). Was expecting more with moto x style.

Lost VS N6
Nexus 6 on Antutu yields better results
Ran antutu 5 times
Nexus 6: 52800(avg) with around 80 apps installed
X Style: 48100 (avg) with around 65 apps installed.
Is the sd 808 superior to the sd 805?
Run Geekbench then look at all the additional calculations the MotoX is capable of vs the Nexus 6 2014. The real question is... Does it matter, does it make a difference in real world use?
