I have to develop for a students project and need some informations about how an app download works: how the message with the apk file looks like (tried to sniff it, but it wasn't working) and how the app gets installed on the device. Maybe someone knows good sites or books where i can get detailed informations about that?

Don't know of any way you would do this without a corresponding app on your desktop. I highly recommend Mobile Mouse (Pro) on the Market here: https://market.android.com/details?...51bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5tb2JpbGVtb3VzZS5mcmVlIl0. and Pro version: https://market.android.com/details?...51bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5tb2JpbGVtb3VzZS5mdWxsIl0.
I use this app on my tablet and phone to control my computer. It's dead simple to set up.
OK, you have a great android phone. You ran out and grab yourself a great android tablet. You found something good on your android phone. You have to repeat the same process on your tablet to get it on your tablet. Ok, you found something really fun on your android tablet, you have to repeat the same process to install on your android phone. What is wrong with this picture? The phone and the tablet does NOT talk to each other.
Here is my question: What can one do fun with an android phone and an android tablet together to have more fun than just 1+1=2?
1) share files, documents, music, video, pictures etc. Wire or wireless, BT or over the inet whatever.
2) sharing apps between the two. Has anyone tried those so call "app sharing" programs in the android world. It is the most pathetic/moron apps I have ever seen. Those "app sharing" app will only share the app titles, the receipient still has to work, to download, find the source to download the app. Aint that pathetic? To be correct, those app sharing app should be rightfully called, "app title sharing"
3) Like in the palm days, using IR, one can beam the app or contacts to each other, can one do that with two android tablets? or android phone to android tablet? Or...
can anybody shed some light on the above, or plug in a link or an app? TIA,
bun

1. Um both have file storage systems so you can use bluetooth to transfer files
2. Impossible without root, where you can save apps and data then restore them to other devices (titanium backup)
3. Who needs IR? Sync contacts, calendar, anything google to the cloud. Sync once and everything is there. Whenever you need to update anything sync again. Bam!

I am working on an app to take snapshots from the running programs in android. Is there a way to access another program or to get an instance of the running activity using a code? Also, in android 4.0 I can take screenshots using the power button. Is there a way to start this service using a code?
So the Battlelog app for android if you are running a tablet lets you use commander mode in the full game (basically play a mini strategy game from anywhere against real pc players) and command from wherever you go.
Would I be able to spoof my nexus 4 into a tablet just to do this without having to buy one?
I am currently running Paranoid Android so this should be possible but I am unable to increase the size of the battlelog app from Hybrid settings.
So when the game comes out in 10 days this should be possible right?
I would love to take Battlefield 4 with me anywhere and command on the go.
If there is a separate tablet apk let me know.
Can anyone please answer this?

I have not been able to spoof my phone ,but I have found a copy of the OBB data and an apk
Just Google the app and find a trusted source

Or if your rooted which I suppose you are you can use this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2146216
