Through all fault of my own I think I bricked my Xoom. I was attempting to install MZ604 image on a MZ600 and now I can't get the tablet to do anything.
It hangs at the Motorola red "M" logo when attempting to boot.
It hangs at "Reading ODM fuse: 1" when attempting to boot into Recovery.
ADB Does not see the device.
When I boot into fastboot, the computer will see the device and allow me to flash all the partitions from the factory restore image I have. It completes everything happily and with no error but still won't boot (same error as above).
I can boot into RSD and it sees the device but I do not have a MZ600 .SBF file to install to the tablet. When I attempt to install a MZ604 image, it completes it happily with no errors but the above problem still exists.
Any other ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.
You can get the stock MZ600 image here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13178555&postcount=2

Thank you for the link but I already have the factory image. The tablet accepts the image by fastboot but still won't boot.
I was hoping to find the ".SBF" file so I can attempt to restore it by RSD.

Hello,
I recently screwed up my VZW Droid Razr to the point where it would remain in the boot sequence indefinitely. Figuring I had somehow wrecked my OS, I have since tried several times to fastboot the phone to a Gingerbread or ICS rom, but I have been not been successful. I really don't want to take my chances with sending it to the Motorola repair center - if someone could help me get a working OS on my phone, that would really make my day.
I have the Android SDK installed (with all SDK tools and Google drivers installed) on my computer, as well as RSD Lite 5.6.
I have been attempting to fastboot my device using fastboot files found at
[http-double-slash]sbf[dot]droid-developers[dot]org/cdma_spyder/list[dot]php (I'm a new user, so I can't post a real link)
Both an ICS fastboot and a GB fastboot have failed on my phone. My method has been:
1.) Boot Mode Selection Menu > AP Fastboot
2.) Plug device into computer, run RSD Lite, confirm that it can see fastboot device
3.) Select a fastboot file in RSD, uncompress file
4.) Flash file to device.
The GB fastboot file I tried failed to flash onto the device...it was at step 7 or so when i got an error and the flash failed.
The ICS fastboot flashed completely onto the device, but when I try to start my Razr it just goes back into AP Fastboot mode and says "Recipe Failure"
This is really frustrating. What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated, and I can post more info upon request. Thanks!
I just got my new asus transformer tf300t-bl and wanted to root and install either twrp or cwm on it,I unlocked it and when i went to reboot it i hit the volume up on the RCK and now its stuck on RCK and it didnt boot into the usb like it says it will on the forums. Now when i reboot it,it says " key driver not found.. booting os android cardhu-user bootloader < 1.00 e> released by "us_epad-10.6.1.8-20130225" a03 starting Fastboot usb download protocol. does anyone know what i can do? i would greatly appreciate ANYONES HELP THAT KNOWS IF THEY'VE DONE THIS TO THEIRS AND IF THIS IS FIXABLE. I USE THIS FOR COLLEGE AND JUST PAID $ 400 and cant afford to buy another one. Somebody please tell me i havent screwed the pooch and that it still can be flashed into recovery and rooted. Thanks you guys. As i rooted and flashed my transform ultra perfectly because of you guys and used the megatron 6 and love it.
No you haven't you need to download fastboot and connect the tablet to your computer, on that screen just let it sit their.
Download the asus firmware. Follow the flashing fastboot guides here. You need to flash the blob file.

Hi, I have the exact same error message after installing the latest firmware from asus (ww_epad-10.6.1.8-20130225) and flashing cwm recovery.
Flashing via fastboot works fine and I have already reflashed the blob file and reflashed cwm recovery. still the same issue: "Key driver not found" and upon chosing entering RCK it freezes. OS boots fine, no issue here. Any clues? Should I flash the stock kernel from Asus?

well, I am using a win xp machine for fastboot. so I don't have the same issues. fastboot works fine, so that I use the normal fastboot process to flash the system and the recovery kernel.
I finally got it to work again by flashing the newest TWRP instead of CWM. It seems CWM does not yet work on the latest firmware.
I followed this guide for flashing TWRP with fastboot. This version actually also just asked me, if I want to root the device, I clicked yes and it was rooted. Perfect.

I am in EXACTLY the same boat as you. The only difference is that I flashed TWRP instead of CWM. I finally decided that it was time to root my tablet...got tired of the lag. IIRC I've gotten the "key driver not found.. booting OS" error message since doing the OTA update to 4.2 (I did this prior to rooting.) Everything SEEMS to be working okay, but this bugs the heck outta me, and I'm sure it can't be a good thing. Hoping somebody will chime in with a fix for this. I've searched and searched to no avail.
Well my dumb fast moving self has backfired once again. While using chain fire 3D I have now got myself stuck in a boot loop. I have tried wipe data both from menu and from paperclip. I have tried getting latest firmware from asus site and using RCK but for some reason it just shows me a dead DROID. So any tips would be great I can't send it back because it's unlocked and rooted. So if anyone knows of a way to get RCK or the wipe data's to work I would be forever in your debt

You have to flash TWRP recovery via fastboot. BUT, be sure to flash the correct version of TWRP. Flashing the wrong TWRP recovery blob can brick your tablet.
Since, you did not mention the firmware version running on your tablet, we can only guess...
If you were on Android 4.0.x (also known as Ice Cream Sandwich or ICS), you need to flash TWRP blob with "-ICS" suffix. For example, openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-tf300t-ICS.blob.
If you were on Android 4.1.x (also known as JellyBean or JB) before ASUS firmware version 10.6.1.8, you need to flash TWRP blob with "-JB" suffix. For example, openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-tf300t-JB.blob.
If you were on ASUS firmware version 10.6.1.8 (Android 4.2.1) you need to flash openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-tf300t-4.2.blob.
If you were on ASUS firmware version 10.6.1.15.3 (Android 4.2.1) you need to flash openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-tf300t-4.2.blob.
And, if you have TF300TG model, get the TWRP blob with -tf300tg-. Once again, flashing the incorrect TWRP can brick your tablet. So, please be extra careful.
To download the necessary TWRP recovery blob files, and for the instructions on how to flash it to your tablet, visit the TWRP official website for TF300T(G) here: http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/97
After flashing the correct TWRP recovery, you can now launch the TWRP recovery via RCK. From there, you can flash ASUS stock firmware to fix your bootloop. I would recommend following method 3 outlined in the GUIDE found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2187982
How is this supose to work if my RCK always shows a dead DROID. And how do I get fast boot to work when fast boot freeze when I click the usb icon
"If you were on Android 4.1.x (also known as JellyBean or JB) before ASUS firmware version 10.6.1.8, you need to flash TWRP blob with "-JB" suffix. For example, openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-tf300t-JB.blob."
I believeThis is the Firmware i was On but im still not sure how to get fastboot to work. or RCK
EDIT: Seems that Link you provided to learn how to put the recovery on is out of date,
EDIT II: "You will need fastboot for this method. Download the above file, check the md5, rename to twrp.blob and put the file in the same directory as your fastboot.exe (unless you have /platform-tools in PATH then you can flash from anywhere). Turn off your device and boot to fastboot (power on while holding volume down, then select the usb icon and hit volume up to confirm). The device will now be in fastboot mode. Plug the device into your computer. Run the following command via the command line:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery twrp.blob" - Will ya translate to english , And as I said when i go into fastboot mode and click the USB icon it freezes.
EDIT III: 10.4.2.20 is my model # i belive
EDIT IIII : Downloaded fastboot But cant run it . i open fastboot and it just closes. Any ideas?
I have been rooting for about a year now, albeit largely with Samsung devices via Odin and CWM Recovery. I now have a Verizon Motorola RAZR HD (xt925) and have been unsuccessful with unlocking the bootloader. I decided to use Safestrap with it, and tried to load Eclipse-v5.0-build2-xt926, reportedly compatible with my XT925... now i am stuck with this screen:

I have been looking to XDA for my answers over the last year. Help would be appreciated. Twenty-five dollars worth of appreciation.
(Yes, I have resorted to bribes....)
Easy fix,
download what ever version of the system software you had on it previously.
Flash it in fast boot mode.
?????
Profit.
Edit: also Verizon RAZRs are xt926 not xt925

Phone identified itself as 925... either way, i am unsure where i can find stock software for it and seem to be unable to flash anything from fastboot, because as it turns out, i am code-retarded. definitely profit when this is solved. I can "cd" through dos and get to where fastboot commands are entered and I have even tried to "fastboot recovery recovery.img" but for the life of me, i must be typing the string incorrectly somehow. But I am excellent at following clear-cut directions. i will try to find a stock image...for motorola, it is a .sbf file, right? If i seem stupid, i apologize, i'm not. just not up on all the nomenclature native to adb and fastboot (or linux). Thanks for helping me though.....i need it.
Ok,
First thing I want you to do is look on the back of the phone, It will have the model on the lower half of it.
Second thing is to find the official software.
For XT96:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/vanquish/list.php
For xt925
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/vanquish_u/list.php
Flash the ROM file using RSD Lite.
If it dosnt work:
Make sure you have the moto drivers installed.
open up the .xml file in the rom and remove the "getvar" lines.
Still trying
Failed at 16/27 flash system system.img
What version did you try?
VZW_XT926_4.1.2_9.8.1Q_62_VQW_MR-4_VQW_CFC.xml
having a hard time finding other .xml files to use... any non-stock .xml available? really want to get into an AOKP/CM/PAC/Liquidsmooth/Carbon/Paranoid.....whatever is 4.2.2
No, only official roms are packaged like that.
You need to have RSDlite at least Version 6 or higher. Also, edit the xml file as stated here.
If your phone is up & running again you can consider going to another rom either with safestrap or by unlocking your BL, installing a recovery and flashing any ROM you like. As stated above you can only flash Stock FW using RSDLite. All other roms can only be applied with either safestrap or CWM Recovery (or similiar).
HELP-ME

Moto g

So I have a Moto G with an unlocked bootloader but no root. So I wanted to flash an android L cyanogen mod rom onto it and I first of all had to install custom recovery. I decided to use twrp. I downloaded all the latest drivers from motorola and the adb folders. I downloaded the recovery image and put it into the 'platform-tools' folder with 'fastboot.exe' in it as well (the boot image was specifically for the moto g btw) and flashed it onto the phone. It installed it but when I went on recovery the boot up image showed for about a quarter of a second but afterwards I was returned back to the moto g fastboot screen with some returned text on the bottom saying 'Boot up failed'. I had followed every step and I tried redoing the process but that didnt work. So I restored my device so I got the stock recovery and I tried cwm instead. This returned the same error message. Im not really sure where I went wrong in the process.
I also have some other questions as well though. I thought that maybe if I put the boot.img boot image from the cyanogen mod folder into the platform tools folder I could open cmd and type 'fastboot boot boot.img' and maybe it would flash it straight on however I dont want 'Boot up failed' from both 'Recovery' and 'Normal Powerup' in the fastboot menu. I was also wondering if I could convert the zip file for the custom rom to .tar.md5 and maybe flash it from odin? However whenever i watch odin tutorials they always use a samsung device and it also says that its for samsung. Or preferably just some help to get past the 'Boot up failed' error would be appreciated. Thanks

Odin is a Samsung factory restore tool. Rsd lite is for motorola. I just got got this phone today so I'm not familiar with it yet to know anther way, sounds like you may just need to download your stock firmware and rsd. that should get ya back to stock at least
