As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

Love the idea, however when I installed the ROM and rebooted, it just froze at the htc logo, and didn't go any further.
Even after reinstalling :/

Same issue here. Downloaded twice just to recheck but freezes at HTC Boot logo.. :/

problem confirmed, rom wont booot

When it installs, it installs like an update only, doesn't mount anything, and doesn't post any other messages than "Opening update" "Installing update". So maybe it's installing wrong?

i think the zip file is to small, for other devices the size is ~180mb and this have only 117mb

hope the rom gets fixed quickly as id like to try this out

I don't really get the reason of this ROM (besides you're experimenting on ICS)...
So you're running the 'old' MIUI on ICS (that's not quite stable yet).
Anyway, personally, I don't see the need to install this, since 2.2.17 is rock solid on 2.3.7. Said in other words, I don't think ICS will bring an extra value to this MIUI version.

It is not "old" miui on ICS. It is ported from original nexus s ics miui.
You don't need to flash this rom, i'm just sharing my work.

Miui is not using superuser app, it is using LBESEC_MIUI.apk for su. this is called Security app in miui.

Your instructions are asking users to install clockwork mod recovery. The evita has no official CWM release, I would change that ASAP before the inexperienced users run into the SD card wipe bug. We have official TWRP.
I figure your OP is mostly generic across the different devices you support.

Made Statusbar Transparent - Default Status bar is now 25% transparent. Themes which have transparent status bar can make use of this. Seasons is one such theme.
Weebo
A 4x3 weebo widget can be added in homescreen. It displays current location and recent actions taken by weebo. This list is updated whenever there is location change or any actions are performed by weebo.
Fix for change of location when network is not detected
Removed cell-Id display from recent events logs. Remove cell-Id entries from recent events list shown in weebo.
Changed location tracking time options from locations page. Put a "recommanded" text for 4 hours option and removed "5 minutes" tracking time.

NEW THEME CREATOR TOOL
Avatar Team is proud to present the first beta release of Theme creator tool. It is a QT based desktop application to edit themes.
Themes created using this tool are compatible with Avatar ROM and Cyanogen ROM. Similarly you can edit both Avatar Themes and Cyanogen themes.
Download the theme apk and open it using the theme creator tool. You will see a screen to edit the resources. After editing the resources, save the apk and install on the device.
What you can do with this tool ?
1. There are 1000's of resources that can be themed in Android. We change only a small set of them and if you want to theme more resources you can use this tool.
2. We make some mistakes when creating a theme. Eg: SMS time stamp color was not proper in some of our themes. You can now use this tool to fix it.
3. We cannot satify all the users with a theme. Eg: If you want to have a darker orange shade in denim theme you can now do it using this tool.
4. You can import an existing theme, change some of the resources we modified and you have a brand new theme.
Upcoming features:
1. Ability to create a new theme from scratch.
2. Import MiUi mtz theme file and convert it to theme apk which is compatible with AvatarROM and CyanogenROM.
3. Upload your new themes to our server so it can be used by other AvatarROM users.
4. Html5 based new theme creator tool which is more elegant and user friendly.

Thanks to Youtube, I can kind of guess what this will look like, and it certainly looks interesting. I've never tried anything that's been related to MIUI (the theming availability) but there's always a first time for everything, I suppose. It's always nice to change things up a bit.

Installation Instructions:
Note:This ROM uses JBX kernel.
Note:Please backup your CID just to be safe.You may not have this error ever but it's always safe to have a backup of the CID.So that if you get a message invalid CID or soemthing just restore it and you'll be good to go.
To backup CID:
Reboot into Recovery
Tap on firmware flashing
Tap on backup CID.
BMM instructions:
See here if this is your first time multibooting with BMM.
Download and install BMM from google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...otmenu.manager
Our phone does not have a partition for internal storage.. so we use the data partition for it.. To do so, just open a root browser like root explorer and navigate to /etc/bmm/conf
Open "recovery.fstab" with a text editor
The last line will be something like this
/int vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p25
Just change 'vfat' to 'auto' and 'mmcblk1p25' to 'userdata' (its the same though..)
So that it looks like this
/int auto /dev/block/userdata
and of course save it and close it..
Done.. you are good to go.. Happy Multi Booting..
Just some tips
On your first reboot, tap the android, go to settings-->System_2-->Partition setup and tap on ACTIVATE. This formats cdrom partition to ext2.
Now go back 2 two steps, and select any other system(3-6). choose Partition setup, tap on system.img, tap on Create, select the size, create it. go back and do the same with data.img and cache.img.
Once thats done, go back and select recovery, select switch system. choose your system that you created the images for, the colour will change, install any custom rom.. Enjoy!!
NOTE: BMM stores the images in internal memory(/int/clockworkmod/virtual/system_(num)). Since we dont have emmc partition and are using the data partition for /int, doing a factory reset will wipe it out and you will lose all your other roms.. So be carefull..
NOTE 2: USE ONLY SYSTEMS 3 TO 6 FOR CUSTOM ROMS.. SUSTEM 2 IS CDROM PARTITION.. YOU ACTIVATE IT ONCE AND DONE.. DONT TOUCH IT AGAIN.. ITS ONLY 12MB..
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL BMM IF YOU USED A2 BOOTSTRAPPER BEFORE. THAT WILL MESS THINGS UP WITH YOUR LOGWRAPPER.BIN. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL BOOT LOOP AFTER REBOOT. NOW IF FOR SOME REASON YOU DID NOT READ THIS, AND GET A MESSAGE ABOUT BMM ASKING YOU TO GET HELP, BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS RECHARGE YOUR BATTERY FULLY AND FXZ BACK. OR THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL HAVE TO USE MCGRUVYER METHOD OR ANOTHER A2 BATTERY. USER RAD7 RECENTLY HAD QUITE A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH HIS BATTERY DYING AFTER BMM MESSED WITH LOGWRAPPER. YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED.
Make sure you have BMM recovery.
Reboot and hit the droid at the BMM splash screen
Optional:
Tap on Settings
Create a new System by creating system,data and cache partitons.Delete the previous partitions if you have to(NOTE: You can skip this but it's better to do it this way)

Yeah sure. I'll make it.
GIF Only seems like a sequence of different images showing one after other like a slideshow. Wouldn't be much difficult if the image is ready, i guess!

All my accounts have exceeded their limit.
Someone help me with a mirror..

i dont know whether this is 'the' black screen issue. but when i reboot to system 3(in which i put Avatar rom) i get a black screen with green led, and then the bmm bot comes itself.:banghead:

Runs perfectly.. Theme chooser is kinda buggy.. I'm sure it's upstream though

Rom is working great! Only thing I cant seem to do is to direct my camera to save pictures to the memory card.

I keep getting error 7 issues with this and CM11. Any advice?

I have updated TWRP, tried CM11 with the c at the end, without the c at the end, tried Gummy, and tried Avatar to no luck. CM 10.2 works.

Which version of TWRP? If CM11 doesn't flash, you are probably on an older version which doesn't support SELinux.

This is not the latest. Please update to the latest. That version doesn't support SELinux/KitKat ROM's.
2.6.3.1 is the latest official.

Got it. For anyone who wants to know, I booted into AP fastboot, and then sideloaded the recovery in. Will try flashing.
Flashing looks like it was sucessful. Thanks for the help.
