Unfortunately unlockroot and superoneclick did not work for me on Celkon A97i. The phone restarted on using both of these applications, but I got a Shell Root error (I don't know what it means though). Luckily, in doing all of this, I did not end up bricking the phone.
Try this following the steps mentioned in op you'll get rooted

The new UnlockRoot's installation is different and it takes a long time. I have got the previous version of the application from the site with which I was able to root it.

Unrooting is 100% Possible?

I want to know if I root my phone using framaroot application then can I unroot it anytime I want for warranty??
Sent from my Micromax A77 using xda app-developers app
Do you have any more information. Maybe a model?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
I don't think you can unroot again. When you will root your device you must have to flash some recovery like CWM recovery which cannot be removed. But if you will root by another method you can probably unroot your device.
Sent from my Micromax A88
of course you can
you have to use tools that support you phone that can make unroot ur phone as when u wat
I am using Micromax Canvas Juice A77.

Yes, unroot it if you do want for the warranty. But root your smartphone is also a process which will change some original data and i'm afraid you have to update your ROM. Actually the rooting app can finish that. I had an experience.

Just try to root you device using framaroot if it work then you can also unroot again by this app. This app is so simple but I'm afraid that it will work for your device or not. Just try n watch

I think Farmaroot can handle that. It worked on my Mediapad 10 Link.

no thing going to happen just root ur device with framaroot and if u want to unroot ur device just go to supersu app>setting>full unroot.
then restart ur device...now ur device is not rooted....

Rooting is Just about custom rom and recoveries. People root their device to use custom roms and some other reasons. And for custom ROM you have to get custom recovery to flash the custom ROM. Custom ROMs can't be removed even you unroot Your device.

[Q] 4.4.2 s3 root on mac

is there a way to root my verizon s3 on mac? I am running kitkat 4.4.2 the newest ota update. I am new to this and don't want to brick my phone but willing to try it thanks in advance
Don't know if you have found your answer to this, but probably would have more luck posting in the Verizon S3 forum. Anyway, you can use Towelroot on your phone to get root, no computer needed. Just search for Towelroot and download the app. It is quick and easy. FYI, you are on a locked bootloader, so no custom recovery or roms.
