next, i uninstalled the launcher from my xoom that had a previously confirmed full version. i reinstalled next launcher and restored my tb data to see if i would retain the full version. guess what...it worked fine!
it seems as tho the activation is tied in with the device ID, so if you uninstall it and use your backup it will only work on the device it was originally activated on. keep this in mind when you upgrade or flash roms that change the device ID. TB has a feature to restore the previous device ID after flashing, so this may be helpful for those ppl that want to continue using next launcher full version even after theyve flashed a new rom or upgraded.

Download the trial version of Next Launcher 3D to get started, and choose Get Free when the splash screen comes up. To unlock it, open the menu and go into preferences. Since this interface is going to take some getting used to, I'll just let you know the menu button is in the far right dock position. In preferences, scroll all the way down and tap on About Full Version. Choose the Activate option, and put in "nextlauncher3d" as the account, and "appoftheday" as the code (both without the quotes). The app should be unlocked and you can play around without worrying about the trial period expiring.
This unlock code is only valid today, and it won't tie the upgrade to your Google account permanently. So think about backing up the app using Helium or Titanium Backup if you want to be safe. Next Launcher also overrides the background image in all launchers when it's installed. You can change it back, but still a small annoyance. All the Go widget packs are installed separately, but they appear to all be free.

No make sure you make a backup of the app and its data. It only links to the lite version.
Thanks for posting. Worked for me. Though it says lite version it is actually not. You can verify this by pressing menu button on your phone and you wont see "trial" (after activating) which will be the case if you dont activate
I am not sure about the upgrade though as there is already a upgraded version of paid app in the play store

As long as you use the same SD card or copy the backups over to the new SD card, yes.
Edit: There have been some issues with TiBu and GB roms (I had an issue with my OG Droid and restoring apps when I went to CM 7). Some apps will not restore and no one can figure out why. However you can simply let Google sync your apps and then restore the missing ones.

Actually, that's normal. The date on that screen is always the date the software was finished/installed, not today's date.
Well if it has s-off then we will see cwm for sure

The news was for 3.0.26, and this is 3.0.27, which fixed the apps description showing in other languages (Maps description showed in Russian for me, and I was not the only one). This one fixed it. There are sure others threads about v27, but the only one I could find after this was in the EVO 3D section and with this thread I know now there is the newer version.
Oh, and sorry for the thanks I gave you, I pressed the wrong button (small netbook). Also ironic for what you said about "thanks" button.

create a backup before doing this using any backup soft like titanium
Did all of that, backed up the old market. New market FCs constantly, cleared cache and data, full battery pull, nothing. Could not restore the old market, Titanium said it did, but the new one still tries to load. Uninstalled and reinstalled vending.apk for the old market, still FCs like crazy. So I'm wiping and re-flashing Liberty now, F it. Guess it was worth a shot but I'll be fine with the old market.
I still have that stupid missing "Update" button bug.
Lol, you could just install it over old Market and then go to Applications/Market/Uninstall updates and revert to old Market.

this is something related to your custom rom maybe not suitable for new market
WTF Even This Version FC's on me
so ever since installing the new market on Evil Fascination on two phones I get FC on them. Here are the steps. Open market, then go to apps, then select any application that has screenshots, then without clicking on an image to make it larger just try and swype through them. FC's on two Samsung Fascinates both with various modems and both running Evil Fascination which has no problems with older market app. I truly beleive this is a bug in the market app.
Is any one else having to issue so I can confirm it is the app and not the rom i'm using?

When I got up today. I updated my NFL Mobile. Then when I open the app. It seems as though greedy NFL people have blocked the use of the app. On modified android phones. I have AT&T not looking for the Verizon APK.
I'm looking for a older AT&T version, or even better a hacked version to use the new one with modified andriods. So if you have or can do either would be greatly appreciated.
Note: If you have a Modified or Rooted phone and get the NFL Mobile update now or in the near future. I suggest you do not update it. This really is a must have app. for me. Thanks.

EDIT: OK after further research there is the app for AT&T or Sprint that does not have any streaming capabilities. I assume you mean this version. And if I read your request correctly it will not work at all on rooted devices. I believe making it work on rooted devices is a worthwhile endeavor and is not considered warez.

OK, I just tried to get this app on my work AT&T tablet and it says "Not available for this carrier". However I installed it and ran it fine on my rooted Sprint S3. If no longer available for AT&T then this would be considered warez. Although if the older version still works I see no harm in that being shared but it will eventually stop working.

Thanks, but I already took it from a back up ROM I had. I tried posting a link of it to my OP but as I was doing so it was locked. Now that its back open thanks. For people that want to use this first uninstall the updated version completely or it will not allow you to install. I will continue to look or work on the update file to see if I can get it to work with rooted phones.

The version I have is AT&T and it does not give me the not available error. It updates just fine, its when you open it. You get a Error unable to use with modified versions of android.

OK. They must not be allowing new installs on AT&T and are updating for previous users BUT they killed it for rooted phones...interesting. I will try on my work's S3 tomorrow on AT&T to see if I get the same "Not available for your carrier" message.

Is this what you get when using the above link? If so I will post mine as mine is NFL 13 and not 12. Mine still works good and has not forced me to update. It is a free app. and I dont use any of the functions you have to pay for but works for me. Once games start though I don't know if it will continue to work the way it did last year as I believe they change parts of it when the season ends they update. Then before drafts begin another update and now right before season begins another update. With little changes in each.
n that s the old nfl 12 app from the market. it wasnt compatible with my nexus 7 last year so i had it laying around from when i had to side load it. ill try the link above and see what i get

Probably be better but this version does work on my AT&T phone. Thanks I will upload in a minute if you don't mind removing it. One thing I did notice is that the pictures of the app on play store show Verizon on them too.

I love the phone. I believe it will be one of the most underrated mid-tier phones this year. It's a Huawei is the reason; although I've owned many Huawei phones my first being the T-Mobile Comet years ago.

Check out stevotdo's link. Have to do both because he made a rooted kernel image for us. Can't flash anything until the bootloader is unlocked.
He lays it out in a very easy and manageable way. The thing that takes the longest is emailing Huawei and getting the phones unlock code.
It took about 4-5 hours for them to reply to mine. Seems some people are not getting replies. My recommendation is to send an email late in the day. Check the time difference between where you are and China. If you send it when they are in the office you'll most likely get a response like I did.
I titled mine "REQUEST: Y536A1 Bootloader Unlock Code"

It took about 4-5 hours for them to reply to mine. Seems some people are not getting replies. My recommendation is to send an email late in the day. Check the time difference between where you are and China. If you send it when they are in the office you'll most likely get a response like I did.

I just want root, I could care less about the bootloader. If it was my phone I'd surely unlock the bootloader but it's not my phone, I only pay the bill lol

Had anyone been able to remove all the att bloatware? I cannot get uber, yp and that damn flamingo program to come off.
Can't seem to install xposed framework on this phone even with root. I verified root was working properly with root checker but I still get the message "The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install framework and reboot?" I gave it root permission, installed/reinstalled, and rebooted several times and still get that error message.

Found the solution to xposed not installing. It's a workaround but some modules won't work with it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52801382&postcount=8

Now does anybody know how to get portable wifi tethering hotspot to work without it giving the verifying authorization & "temporary network problem that prevents the enablement..." error?

See OP for Xposed installation.
I would advise against removing AT&T address book. When I removed it, my "Contacts" would still try to open AT&T address book and wont finish loading. Titanium backup had trouble restoring it and I had to do a factory reset. It would be helpful to have a list of bloatware apps that are safe to remove but I use this device as my main phone and I can't risk testing every app and breaking it.

If you all want a real good program for lock screen notifications I recommend an NiLS. After you install it make sure it's checked in accessibility then go into program manager and make sure it has access to drop zone

Also it's really cool if you use the new version of Google and Google now launcher you can set it up to where you can say ok Google while the screen is off

2. Reboot Into Recovery Mode (TWRP)
3. Backup Device (Optional)

Im going to assume alternative apps from the play store. This is "Nexify" so if you need the samsung apps I suggest you dont run this rom maybe?

Like I said on the op I deleted those apps so you could download the calculator and clock app and email app from Google just go to the play store and search Google's calculator or clock app and you will have a close experience to stock Android

N920T, i flash rom again :crying:
Running into an issue with TTS and Accessibility. When enabling LastPass in accessibility settings, it tells me something about the default language and the system UI crashes.
accessibility seems to get ornery about anything but US english in a lot of cases i've found (on stock TW 920W8) try setting everything to US english and see if that clears it up.

scroll to bottom of samsung screen to allow skipping. same as stock. -- except I too am having this issue. hm.
Displays sign in box, and two seperate buttons t register an account, none of which are responsive. N920W8 flashing from BPE3, I did flash Skyhigh 4.3 prior to bootingh the first time, i'll reflash clean and see if that changes anything?

You can get all standard missing samsungs apps from the Galaxy App Store.
Here is the download link for the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store:

Install this APK like you would install any other apk.
You can find the standard missing Google apps at the google playstore.
