Unroot Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500 - Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500

Hi guys, I have a s7500 with stock 2.3.6 . I have rooted it via odin.
Recently i have a notification for software update.
I heard that trying to update the official rom while rooted, will brick your device...
So I want to unroot first, do the update and then root again....
The problem is that i cant find a way to unroot my ace+.
Plz help me...!

There isnt a unroot.zip flashable file, like for other sam devices??? I dont want to mess it up....

I think you can make it self ! with little modification from flashable file Root.zip for your phone, just delete folder system than edit updater-script file on META-INF folder

I don't know how to do this...
I rooted my phone via Odin, so I don't have the root.zip file....
I searched for it in the web, but some people were reporting that this file make their phone bootlooping....
Can plz tell me how to do, or post link to a guide? Tnx

There is already a thread on this app by the developer here. No reason to have it. Did you ask his permission to post his app? Also just unrooting your phone does not regain your warrenty.

Flash stock v2 with sp flash tools and logo will be restored .
Hi,
Visit Jigar Pattani's JMP ROM thread. flash the "not charging while switched off" zip file. it replaces the original boot.img and also charges when phone is switched off when you install any ROM
just use this tool
Download this zip,Decompression it,
then open LogoBuilder.exe
chose the original micromax logo.bin
and then,I think it is easy to change,
open the projest folder, just change the fist picture“img1.png” which u always saw it boot ur phone
press “make”,u will get a update.zip that the new logo.bin just in it,Flash it just like falsh a rom without wipe。
GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi! If u r using Odin for the 1st time, then it's obvious that there has been some mistakes. Flash froyo 2.2.1 (4package firmware)of ur country (Indonesia) coz it contains bootloader. If ur phone becomes fine then u can flash Gingerbread 2.3.6 (Indonesian).
Remember: Use Odin 4.38 & ops file should be named like: Beni_v1.0.ops & install Samsung mobile drivers. Disable kies, antivirus & firewall.
Good luck...!!

How comes you have an encryption option - what rom are you using?
I use cm 10.1.4 and there is no such option.

Thanks a toN!!! Safariking. I'm so much grateful to you for this. I really needed that.
Now the only thing I need is the guide on how to deodex. I know panda has one but the way you teach is far simpler. Whenever you have free time please post it. Thanks again.

You aren't giving me all the digits but I assume you are using C567. I don't believe so and if I need can always re-root and flash again.

I just checked and my device is not rooted anymore. You would need to go through the root process again. I suggest the rebranding instructions post.
