[Q] MMX A110 JMP Xtreme ROM Issues

Hi Jigar,
I have downloaded and installed your ROM and Everything is working very fine, The Touchwiz Launcher that you made as default was awesome, Its very smooth and fast than before.I can say that this Rom is the Best of all now available. Thank you very much Jigar..
So far i have Found some issues in the JMP Xtreme Rom that you can Resolve.
1.The video Camera is not working.
2.The Icon of some applications that were installed was not displaying in the Application drawer.But In Manage application it is displaying.
3.I am using the Invisible Lock Widget still previous Rom but now after installing the Widget, It is not displayed in the Widgets list. and also some of the Widgets of the installed application is also missing.
4.The vibrate of mobile while typing through the keyboard cannot be disabled and the setting to disable that is missing.
I have attached the screen shot also for your reference.In the screen shot you can notice that some apps are not displayed in the Application drawer.Please look into these issues and update us the fix.Reply me once you addressed this thread.

for me in addition :
USB cable connection is not getting detecting. Mobile showing charging but cant access sd card. tried with debugging mode off bu no luck.
please help

Hello myself Siva I have installed the rom completely for me its not doing any problem till yet.
If you have back upped everything before flashing a new from there couldn't be any problem.

i have noted some few issues now in my phone which is not,
1. in phone information my phone is now named as samsung galaxy....etc whereas i am using micromax a110 canvas2.
2. i have flashed 360 launcher as default in that the weather widget is not deducting my location.
3. as u have said the battery life has increased but to my experience is not improved sir(sorry for my bad english) kindly excuse me.
4. Can i able to patch the 12mp camera zip file via cwm by using ur rom? i have downloaded the file but waiting forr ur reply.

apart from these smoothnes clarity changes in icons everything i admire.
specially the boot up new animation awesome. 1000 thanks again sir.

Jmp Xtream Problem !!

Thanks for the best ROM (JMP Xtream) installed without any problem at first attempt, and working smoothly and with good result.
Some problems !!
1> Model No shows Samsung GT-S9081 in my Micromax A110 after installation.
2> At first attempt when I installed Jmp Xtream I succeed in installing some apk files from backup folders. But another day while trying to open or install apk files from the same backup directory taken by titanium backup eg. com.adobexxxxxxx.apk.gz it shows file "Activity not found" (Astro Manager) and "format not supported" (File manager) but At first attempt when I installed Jmp Xtream I succeed in installing some apk files from same folders.
Any solution !!

Wipe cache
Wipe data
Advanced/wipe delvik cache
Mount/format system
Install Zip from sd card
Reboot
After that Boot logo appears wait 2 minutes, it will take more time for first boot for deodexed Rom.
To activate LMT.
open app drawer
open LMT and select start services
Also select Autostart and enable it.

1.When default navigation key at the bottom is active, app drawer last row icon names are not visible.FIX HERE.

After Download u need to change value in update script.
unzip ROM zip, navigate to \META-INF\com\google\android\update script. Open it using notepad++. Search for mmcblk0p6 and replace it with mmcblk0p7. Two location u have to replace. Save it, zip it and see video for how to flash it.
Note: For gn868h devices you need to change boot image in zip with your stock ROM boot image and then you have to flash.

FAQ's
1.How to activate default soft navigation keys at the bottom?
Ans: you need build prop editor. Download from play store. In the build prop editor search for qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 and change its value to 0. Reboot your device.now soft navigation appears as default.
2.Is it possible to activate LMT navigation on left side of screen?
Ans: Actually LMT can be activated to appear on all sides(except top) left, right and bottom at the same time.
To activate LMT in different direction. Open LMT scroll down and select activation area position under pie control. Now u have options for left,right and bottom pie activation.

I really surprised myself with the beautiful images. An excellent work. :good:
I also found interesting the withdrawal of the lower keys. But I have some doubts about it:
In some games these keys are required to return exactly the options. Had to put that screen back or side there another way?
Anyway, congratulations, continue with more work and you certainly have a great team to reach MMX A90s with JB.:fingers-crossed:

Thank u. I love to use LMT instead of soft keys at the bottom. There are so many settings in lmt( pie keys, gesture recognition, tasker ......)
I am using LMT more than a week. Initially it was difficult to use. Coz we always look for soft keys at the bottom. after few days I used to it with thumb on the right edge of the screen.
Still u want soft navigation key at the bottom. U can activate it.
To activate download any build prop editor from play store and search qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 change its value to 0.

I have used LMT too, and yes it is great alternative of those soft keys.. in fact best one.. In starting we my feel little uncomfortable, but it is surely good one, and later on we will be addicted.

I don't know why u got that problem. May be the procedure to flash in cwm u made some mistake. I am not sure about ur problem which r the application u don't have access to keyboard.

I did all the procedures you asked (Procedure to flash in CWM). And unfortunately it does not start. Do not know if I did something in particular, but when I restore, it has informed that the internal sdcard is damaged, then you have to format it. I know you changed something about it at the beginning of the forum MMX A90s, but I do not know if that was inserted into your ROM.
I know it may be different on some issues, but the Custom Rom of the King Ace after the changes have worked on my phone. I'm not wanting to change your ROM, if to everyone who has MMX A90s are being installed correctly. I'm just trying to give a feedback of my experience in the installation of your ROM. I'm sad because I wanted to see and feel the use of LMT and all the interesting options that you placed.

lopestom i flashed this rom for more than 6 times without any bootloop. i am here to help you. how u got that message. sometimes people select format emmc instead of format system accidentally. i am damn sure my custom rom is bug free till now.
one more thing when flashing Rom by default it wipe all data.
now i will upload video tutorial on how to flash my rom.
lopestom you r using Blu mobile. it may conflict i can't assure you. king Ace rom don't have boot animation. so that may not conflict ur device.
warning: This Rom is only meant for Micromax A90s devices. Not meant for Blu vivo mobiles. Please don't give negative feedback coz u try with blu vivo mobile.

Absolutely NO desire to see my feedack as negative. I feel like an intruder in the team MMX A90s, and yet some people here MMX has been very kind and patient with me. I'm always grateful for that.
Yes, your tip about the boot animation probably gives the BLU VIVO conflict, because I tried to install some bootanimations with the correct resolution, but only a few have started correctly.
Please do not see what I write as negative! And yes as a review of experience. So I say goodbye.
I'm sure your work is beautiful, and the results will bring good returns, I believe it! ........................ :laugh:

successfuly flashed megamax
YaY... I flashed the ROM yesterday and I'm very impressed with the new look of my phone now. Thanks a lot Shahul for the awesome ROM. But there are a few bugs (very minor) i would like to report. Don't know if they are in my phone only or in everybody else's. So here we go....
1) Data traffic button from the tools widget doesn't do anything. I have to go to the pull down thing and switch the data traffic ON/OFF from there.
2) When i tap on the 'back light' button, it says "unfortunately, tools has stopped".
and there are few others, I don't know how to tell them in text, will upload with pictures.
And Shahul, please don't get me wrong for this or pls don't think I'm whining. Its with these little feedbacks only a better and bug free s/w can be created.
And again, its an awesome ROM and i'm loving it. Thanks for creating it. Cheers.
EDIT: and there seems to be a problem with album. When swiping images, after 5 or 6 images, it gets struck, it doesn't go to next image or previous image. Is it happening with only my phone or ...???

battery calibration problem

I have a problem in my mobile after installing a new custom rom and when i tried to calibrate the battery using battery calibration its notifies that thier is no source file for battery statistics,,,,can anyone help me out,,,please,,,becuase my battery drains within 15 hours even in standby mode,,,,i also used battery stats bin application in my mobile,,,it doesnt showed any data... so please,,,i am now presently using [JB]MEGAMAX™ A110 JELLYTREAT V1[Custom ROM for MICROMAX A110] I love this rom...its quiet good,,,,but the case is its the battery drains very quick,,,,so any one help me out from this problem,,,plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Flashing with sp is better according to me as it is a firmware not just a ROM

bro. m using xr-650 ROM ... but in this rom video recording is not working in stock camera... I have camera fv5 but don't know how to shoot videos. ..becoz there too many option ..help plz

I had installed JB and it's running perfect but the problem i am suffering is after phone is being locked wifi networks get off and after unlocking then in few seconds wifi gets on automatically..
so what should be the problem i don't know but help me out of this..

Problem with MM A110
GOT A Problem On My Micromax A110 android phone.
1.) Model Number : Micromax A110
2.) Firmware Version : 4.04
3.) Baseband Version : MAUI.11AMD.W12.22.SP.V5.P2, 2012/09/19 15.39
4.) Kernel Version: 3.0.13
5.) Build Number : ALPS.ECS2.MP.V1
The service provider is Vodafone India, Unlocked and I am using GPRS/EDGE service from Vodafone India.
Problem:
Two weeks back i was downloading one attached file from email attachment while I was travelling through an area where the signal strength was poor.
The downloading preparation started, but actual downloading did not. It just went on, and I found that there is no link for this downloading which is shown in the notification area and the Gmail application which started the downloading.
I was searching in the "downloads" in the menu and found that this downloading is not registered,
Since then, I am seeing the downloading notification and it is just continuing.
Can any body explain me what is this? Is it a bug of ICS? Any way to remove this ?

Pros:
Awesome Ram management even after installing 90+ apps... No 4.2 issues(power key doesn't wake up device,lags,hangs) faced with this rom so far
Liquid smooth touch response feel like 4.1 stock
Multi Tasking at its level best
launcher with desktop gesture support,themes,drawer transparency,apps cataloging overall Excellent launcher
Ram cleaning option inbuilt in Recent Apps - no need to install external apps
Battery backup is very good... after 13hrs f usage with 2g data ON still 57% left
High End Games are Working well ... ASPHALT 8 works with juz few lags and fifa 14 as always in slow motion
Boot time is quick
Everything working fine, no fc's
cons:
few gravity box options not working(Transparency management not working with AMOI 360 launcher, lock screen tweaks)
"replace lock screen ring image" not working instead it changes the wallpaper while changing the lock screen image (patch provided and issue solved i think )
Suggestion with all due respect..
@SuperDroid-BOND bro pls look into this issue pls
Camera quality can be improved.. in Turbo3.1 rom Images taken size are 3 to 3.5mb, in this rom always under 2mb irrespective of the ambiance like all 4.2 roms... pls do something ...

However, I'd like to make corrections..
No Gapps preinstalled is incorrect, Play Store, Google services framework as well as Gmail are installed.
Some of google apps are not installed but you can download them in play store.
And regarding gravity box issue, Just update the module, everything will work fine.

camera not working properly
This ROM is working absolutely fine, but in app drawer i can't found any default Camera app, i have tried to install other camera apps from playstore but unfortunately every app showing only front camera :crying:
also in GPS, its not locating my exact location
please give any solutions as i really want to keep this awesome ROM for a long period

I will solve your GPS issue in matter of seconds, but if you saying that camera is not available.
Can you confirm me that when you bought your device, A110 was it with 4.0 or 4.1 android pre installed in it?

thanks mate ! when i bought this phone, it was 4.0 installed in it, and i also installed dozens of custom ROMs but this happened 1st time with me

Ohh,
Than you have to try re flashing and flash without making any single change in rom and flash 3.4.67 kernel for first boot.

Sorry bro i havent tried other releases ... i tried almost all the 4.2 roms and had faced issues of hangs and others,,, but after using this rom was so impressed and i wanted others to try so came up with a review

LOL bro there is no Gmail2.apk in the ROM zip system/apps .. u can check or may be u r rite .. bond bro should have added it in the later releases ...
and transparency ,i know it will work with other launchers for sure because i can see transparency in lockscreen and am facing the issue because am in amoi 360 launcher which came with rom and wanted to use it

can anyone have solution for GPS exact location, i am facing in this ROM only,

Yes the Gmail2.apk isn't in system/app, but it is in data/app where Motion Snap, Gravity Box and Xposed Installer Apk's are located!
You can check! Or, I'll post a screenshot if you want!!

Yea bro just checked its there but i dont know why it didnt work with me i had download it from playstore ..
thts y i did mention abt gapps not been pre installed
i have done a factory reset many times during "app not installing" problem by tht it should have wiped the data partition ....
any ways i will be most happy removing tht line from OP

Brother every modification in status bar can be done by gravity box so its not needed you can just upload your ROM,

As for transparency, it is better to leave it like that so that users who want transparent can do it with Gravity Box..

I Want To Describe About
The Tick Just Beside The Automatic Brightness.
OK I'll Leave Transparency & I Think For The Swipe To Call & Message And Also For Lockscreen We Should Try To. Seek Help From @rishusngh [The Original Developer] Cuz I Tried But No Results At Last System UI FCs , My SD Card Formatted ( Don't Know How, After Flashing Another ROM It Totally Formatted N Not Showing Anything ).
Also Flashed The ROM Once Again But System Ui Fc ( Not Allowing Me To Do Anything Else) My SD Formatted ( Not Able To Flash Any Other ROM.)
Just Now Flashed Stock 4.1.x ROM using SP Tools.

The lock screen is not working as it is requires some framework and smali files modification its not as easy to port, the swipe to call n msg contacts might need some touchwiz framework files as the lock screen needs,finally as you said the original developer has to help with this !!!
Also @sagarwep can help a bit as he is the first to port the s3 water ripple lock screen to our device.

For your help just post your log cat while opening swipe to msg n call contacts app and also take log cat while the system ui force closes,I can take a look n many devs also can have some more details about the issues.

decompile systemui.apk goto layout find statusbar.xml/statusbarexpanded.xml or the file related to brightness slider,open it and add those lines next to its name
