Wll we get Android 5.0 ROM for our micromax a110 canvas 2 ?
And what is the difference between Android 4.1 and 4.2. Why we cannot get 4.2 based ROMs.

Android 5.0 is not even released by Google.

Keylime will not come out for a low end device like ours.
We haven't even been able to port 4.2 to our phones as it doesn't boot.
So dont expect to get key lime pie when it comes out

In order to port a ROM the devices should atleast have the same resolution. The Canvas 2 has a screen resolution of 480x854 whereas the ZTE Grand the device listed above is qHD which is 540 x 960. So if someone can tell me a method of changing dpi and screen resolution according to our device, I would be happy to give a port a shot but kindly note I'm still a Novice so I'm still learning
hmm........i think ics n jb share same libs......first pull the libs file from the roms and copy it to jb rom it will work

Currently I am using Custom Radeon rom V1 for my MMX Canvas 2 A110
but in this rom all things same as Stock rom of mmx ..some feather added but some not working ..
conclusion ...not so Good for Canvas 2..:crying:
Can you tell me any Custom rom which is much better from stock rom, and please post step by step procedure of "how to install it"

Hi MMX A110 Developement Team,
Kindly let us know the future of Micromax A110 developement. We saw some excellent work on Micromax A110 Kernel Developement. We also experienced some good custom ROM on MMX A110 based on either ICS or JB.
Now official JB 4.1 update is out. Please let us know if our developement team is thinking of or working on porting Cyanogenmod 10 or 9 for Micromax A110?
I saw the thread "CyanoJetMOD | Open Beta Testing". If Varun is working on this currently with Jelly Bean Kernel?

We all know that the awesome hardworking devs at xda have already ported jb 4.2.2 rom to our device and it is virtually bugless now.
I have created this thread to discuss the development of jb 4.3 rom for mmx a110. As u may already know, mmx will soon release jb 4.3 update for its latest devices like canvas hd, 4, canvas 2 plus, etc, but it is doubtful if ever they will release 4.3 for mmx a110 becoz till now 4.2 itself has not come to our device.
Is it possible that we can port it from these phones? Though all these are q-cores.
Devs plz reply here.
i may not be much of an expert but after having seen the hard work and perseverance of our Canvas 2 devs.. i think that they will be able to do it too!
@sagarwep bro has already ported the Canvas 4 ROM for our phone.. so at least this is sure that quad core ROM's can be ported..
the next big question is.. will they be able to make it bugless?

Best rom for devlopping and cistomization is stock rom v2 ics for canvas 2 ......

hey guys wait untill any mediatek 6577 devices provider release update jb 4.3 their devices...after get updates it is possible to get jb 4.3 for mmx a110 device either...stay tune and wait for updates!

Hi guys,
i'm using an android phone named micromax canvas turbo a250
its a fairly good device with decent specs..
but there is very little support for it online.
there are some custom roms available for it but all are in old jelly bean version 4.2.x
so i'm requesting if any developer could port a kit kat rom for this ??
i really wish to have a cyanogen mod rom for my device :/
