Just to let you guys know Quadropus Rampage has been released and is optimized. You have to activate the Xperia Play controls from the options page but once that's done youre off! The d-pad and buttons work great. They are also working on touchpad support, which should arrive with future updates. Plus it's FREE. You can make purchases to move ahead of the current but ultimately they are not required to develop and progress through the game. ENJOY!

This is the best game I've played all year, no joke. Insanely addictive gameplay, terrific presentation, and free to play done right makes this one crazy awesome game! Get it, get it now! That's at least how I feel after having played this game for the past month.
this is one of the best games i played this year on xperia play))

Hi there.
I just released my first game ever.
The name is... Singularity.
It's a physics puzzle game, pretty unique gameplay and controls.
Your job is to quickly guide Earth back to milky way Avoid death stars using gravitons (aka black holes)if you do it fast and use less gravitons you get more points (Easy )
The game is in heavy beta. It has 30 levels but many will be added really soon with new objects and gamestyles and sounds.
So if you want you can check it out and tell me what you think.

This game marked a very important thing for Xperia PLAY. One of my biggest bitter-nesses from iOS gaming was how terrible controlling a fighting game with touch controls was... but even with Further Beyond Fighting and Dragon Warrior, Xperia PLAY still lacked an exclusive fighter.
FIGHT GAME HEROES was exactly the answer to that:
And made quite a big promise because we have solid word from the team themselves that online play was coming.

Still waiting for the download to finish (for some reason, there's a weird system where paying for the full version means you'll be hit with a secondary download screen that takes forever to get you the "full" version) and I will definitely report back to tell if this new version is the one where we finally see some online play!
EDIT: Sigh... no online update yet. Just a couple DLC characters/arenas for $1.03 a pop.
Every fighter is the same though (in this game), same moves. I don't think it's that good tbh

Remember Castle of Shadows (re-released as Avenger)? Extremely fun game? Well, the creators have dropped us something new! As "Indiana Jones"ish as the title "Journey to Egypt" sounds, it's actually an Egyptian-themed Action/Platformer RPG hybrid with some very, very badass gameplay.

Journey to Egypt on the Android Market: MARKET LINK
I'll admit, from Air Force JROTC til now, I've never understood the fascination with F18 simulators, but this one boasts quite a lot of accuracy and some production value I couldn't ignore. If you're into this kind of thing, check it out!

And last (but not least), OrangePixel's also trying to bring their retro-style goodness to the shooter category with Neoteria. Just from seeing OrangePixel, you know to expect tooth-grinding levels of challenge and a lot of fun.

KEMCO just dropped their long-awaited sequel to Symphony of the Eternity!

...and the typical crew of Kemco haters (all 2 of you ) would be hard-pressed to say this looks like "a RPG Maker game" as soon as they saw the sheer quality of their new game engine.
...unfortunately, it is listed as "Not Xperia Play Optimized" for the time being.
BUT contrary to this... Origin does work somewhat with hardware controls because you can move around and initiate NPC actions with the gamepad.
...as you may recall, Symphony of the Eternity also started off as a game that wasn't Xperia Play Optimized, and worked just like this one does where you could navigate with hardware controls (but had to use the touch screen for menus and combat).
I have hope that this will soon be fully Xperia Play Optimized just like Eternity is.
Oh man. Bout time. I've been checking their Facebook almost dailey for this. Thanks for the heads up TL.
I will be watching this to see if it gets optimized for our plays.

Thanks for the update! Have been looking forward to this one for a while. Here's to hoping for full optimization
Hey guys. We're looking for people to beta test an Android game we've been working on for the last few months. Its one of the first Android games with full G+ integration so we hope you will find it interesting.
The game is a puzzle RPG with a focus on PvP. We decided to focus on Android features first, so we're currently working on features like NFC.
