Hey guys just snagged one of the 32gb for $160 at office depot just wanted to share with anyone who's interested in the deal and to any devs out there who might be interested in trying to port android onto it.

This is exactly what is happening, funny you said that. Just went on craigslist and people are overpricing, but you can still buy it. Best Buy is selling it now also, and RadioShack might!

Ordered one that way too, but have you gotten any kind of confirmation e-mail? i haven't but they have a hold for the amount on my credit card. Just wondering if you have gotten any confirmation.

It is an expensive item he paid for so he doesn't wanna go super cheap. It is new. This thread will be up until it sells here or on eBay. Just gonna give fellow members a chance first.

Anyone know if this will work with a receiver HDMI input vs direct to the HDMI on the TV? My setup has all my electronics in another room and I would love to hook this up via HDMI to my receiver and be able to "switch" to it as needed.

Yup. It works. That is what my brother did. We have too many wires and too little HDMI ports in the TV.

$350 was the cheapest i found. Printed off the site and emailed it to my phone so i could bring it up when i was in store.

Many best buys will not honor this, they usually only match some of the big sites.

I went to Best Buy to get the price match. They identified both sites that have it listed for under $350 as "Phishing Scams". For whatever reason, they still did it. I walked out for $349.99

Buying A New Phone Need Help....ASAP

hi guys ....i am planning to buy a new phone in next few days or i can say withing 48 hours...need some advice and help...i am willing to spend around 400 to 600 dollars to buy phone which is unlocked...if you guys have any ideas for me...which one to buy...i am on business alot so need phone ASAP....or if anybody know website which sells phones...and yeah place where i live i don't get lte....that will be great..i'll appriciate....

just for normal use..i use navigation alot cause i drive alot and also regular stuff like facebook and etc...search internet, videos. youtube...and yeha i am on at&t and where i live i don't get lte...so should i buy at&t version or international version...

I think the atnt one has lte and the international one doesn't.

The international one, because it will get software updates faster, no at&t bloatware, and you don't live in an LTE area so there shouldn't be a differencr

Tablet ideas

I need ideas on a new tablet. My wife has this note 8.0 which is rather nice to me but... if I was gonna spend $200-250 is there anything else I should get rather than a note 8.0?
I love custom roms.. I'd love an IR blaster.. larger screen is a maybe.. I'd love it to last two years before abandon by the community.
I don't want a 7in really.. they feel cheap. I don't want less than 1.5gb ram, I don't need 3/4g- simply wifi

I recommend the LG GPad. Out of the tablets I've had its my favorite and Newegg has it for around $230 :good:

A couple of concerns.. Just from reading the new egg reviews people complain of over heating, the brightness messing with image quality and battery life being terrible.
Are these fixed with just flashing CM11? I've know LG software to be terrible usually so I'd point fingers there before the hardware.
Still open for suggestions! But that's amazing spec wise for the price. Wonder if Best Buy will price match it lol

I've had no issues aside from the low battery life. The brightness isn't the greatest but its still perfectly acceptable once you get it above 40.
I've tried a lot of the different roms and actually for me the best is the flashable stock kitkat that's available on the forums. All the others had various issues wifi, gps and general bugs. While the stock isn't the overall fastest its very stable and I still get almost 27000 in antutu.
Best Buy will pricematch Newegg but their running very low on supply.
I bought the GPad and the Samsung 8.4 Pro at the same time and kept the Gpad as the Samsung killed my eyes with the brightness and very small text. I think you would be happy with the Gpad :good:

Yes my name is Nathan. I've had the handle of talk2nate since about '93. Not very cool these days but its mine everywhere lol.
I'll have to see if they have that pad in stock. They offer a 15 day return so maybe I'll try it.

Reason I asked is because my name is Nathan also You may want to grab one quick as I noticed Newegg went out of stock right after I replied last but I just tried adding multiples and looks like they have 4 in stock. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask me.
