Based on a quick Google, I couldn't find any JB roms for your device.
Custom roms for these phones tend to be scarce due to their comparative lack of popularity and availability.
I could find a rom though, no mention of which version it is.

Update to Jelly Bean if Rooted?

Hi all, I have the Verizon GS3 (SCH-I535). When I first got it, I flashed it using this guide - I apparently installed a rom by invisiblek that stripped out a lot of the applications. Well, since I'm a first time smartphone user, I asked in that thread that since my G3 was now rooted if I should accept OTA updates in the future, to which one person told me no. Last night I got a notification that my phone wanted to update to Jelly Bean, so now I'm not sure what to do. I don't accept the update because it will brick my phone, right? And if that's the case, where do I download a rooted version of Jelly Bean for it? (I searched this forum but couldn't really find anything other than people's custom versions, like Slimbean). I'm really confused with all the different rom versions available for the different carriers and models, though I suspect I can only use one for Verizon. Side question too - "rooted" is a modified version of an official OS release, right? It's not a method of installing an OS, it's an actual modified version, right? And if I want Jelly Bean, I have to continue using these modified versions, right?

Jellybean has not been officially released in any capacity to the Verizon GSIII. The update you see is roughly 30mb at the most, it's an incremental update at best from when you purchased the phone. No, it will not brick your phone. If you have a custom recovery then the update will fail. If you do not have a custom recovery then the update will unroot and unlock the bootloader and install successfully. We're months away from a Verizon update to Jellybean.

Download custom roms from the development section. Only flash roms for the Verizon GSIII aka d2vzw. These custom roms are people's different versions of the software available for our phone either officially or in jellybean's case unofficially.

"Rooted" just means the user (you) have the ability to make changes to the system or root of the device that are not possible for stock non-rooted users. Just rooting your device means you gained administrator access to the system but nothing is changed until you install roms or other mods.
There is a truly great post in the development section by DroidStyle that details EVERYTHING you need to ask as a beginner. Here:

Ah, I see, I thought it was JB since there were reports of people in some countries getting the JB update today. Coincidental timing!
Anyways, I went through with the update but it failed.

Ah I see, so if I were to download something that's JB, it's just someone's "fan" version of it? And the JB version that leaked to the international phones today won't work on our Verizon ones?
Thank you for your help!

My pleasure, no worries! I have to much respect for any dev who undertakes developing or porting roms to call it a fan version. It's best to refer to it as "customized" which is what they are: custom versions of what may or may not be available.
Nah, unless there is a leak for the Verizon Jellybean update consider any news you hear/see about GSIII updates as completely useless unless Verizon is mentioned. The international version has completely different hardware inside the phone so any roms meant for that device will not work in the USA GSIII. You also can't actively flash another carrier's roms for this phone, it's not suggested and has the potential to render your device unresponsive.

Samsung Galaxy s2 will receive Android 4.2?

Hello everyone, as the title, I wanted to know if my Galaxy S2 will receive as an official update Android 4.2.
Thank you all for the answer
Doubt it. Manufacturers usually only give a maximum of 2 years of updates. S2 has already had ICS and will probably stop at Jelly bean.

but 4.2 is JB?
Nope. Android Jelly Bean is 4.1
Android 4.2 will be probably named key lime pie, but there isnt any official info.
SGS2 won't get update to 4.2 if it will be cause Samsung devs considered update to 4.1
I hope Samsung support 4.2 for Galaxy S II, waiting...
I Don't have high hopes either for a 4.2 update, sure i'll be eating these words when they do decide to upgrade the firmware

Help GT-P5100 Malaysia cannot install JB based roms

Dear XDA'ers,
My device (GT-P5100) is from Malaysia and there is no stock JB OTA rom available yet. I have tried numerous times to install any and all kinds of JB based roms butt all does not seem to work. Whether its stock germany 4.1.1 or CM based JB rom. I have rolled back to stock 4.0.4.
I highly look up to this forum and the people supporting. This has made my galaxy s3 experience a most enjoyable as well as for my friends that i recommend to.
Your help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

[Q] simple question needing a simple answer.

When android rolls out with 4.3, will users with the galaxy tab 2 10.1 still be supported as far as development with custom ROMs goes? Without making anyone mad here I'm going to ask another way... Will I ever see android 4.3 on a tablet I purchased a little over a month ago? It is keeping me up all night searching for answers and I'm at my ropes end.
Thanks for reading.
P.s I should have sprung the extra hunskie for the note 2 huh?

The custom roms will always be there...if the hardware will allow it we'll get the update here...I've seen many older devices getting jelly bean although they were officialy left on gingerbread or even froyo

Yeah, even the boost zte warp now has a buggy jellybean, and Ly-f1 clones (cheap alwinner tabs) were getting jellybean ROMs very shortly after the source was released, so i agree the prospects look good.

i already have 4.2 based ROMs for my RazrM, and it's still on 4.1.2. If there's an update pushed for the Tab, it will be developed and released in custom ROMs. If the OTA isn't pushed to the Tab, I can almost guarantee there will still be aftermarket ROMs based off 4.3 or 5.0 or whatever comes out next. Truthfully, I don't know why you are losing sleep over this.

[Q] can we get Android 4.4 kitkat...?

I know it is too difficult or not possible to get official Android kitkat update to our Atrix 2 phone?
But can we get it?
As heart it is more memory efficient....
And did it need new cornel to make it possible....
So what are the chances of getting it to our devices....?

Let alone official KitKat, we didn't even get the official Jelly Bean, and ported Android 4.4 is impossible IMHO, as Hashcode left OMAP4 phones deving.
