I've used the google doc sheet in a different thread on this site to freeze as much bloat as I can from the info provided, but after updating to the latest build there is a lot of new stuff that isn't on that list and I don't know what's safe to freeze. I did freeze.the caller id app after hearing about the issues, but I'd like to get rid of anything else that is taking up RAM. Does anyone have an updated list?

Rules of Behavior (Just to be clear)
1. Posting in the Development Forum. Creating new threads in the Dev Forum is restricted to development work. Roms, Hacks, Roots, etc. This IS NOT a place to ask questions. There is a Q&A Forum for that.
Exception: If you have a problem with a specific Custom Rom, Hack, Root, etc, then you may post it in the related thread where it originated from. Example; you installed a custom rom from the Dev Forum, and it has issues rom related. You may post your issue in the ROM THREAD ONLY. Do NOT create a new thread.
2. Arguments and Flaming. We shouldn't have to go over this, but it seems some people love to participate in such behavior. Calling a user a "n00b" is not tolerated, and such posts will be deleted, and the poster warned/infracted/banned. Giving a user a hard time because their english is bad, is also not tolerated. XDA is not a Grammar School.
If an argument starts, DO NOT participate in it. You have a "Report Post" button. Use it. Let the Mod's take care of it. You are not moderators, so please don't act like it.
3. RD's, RT's, RC's. As given such title, you are expected to behave in a manner reflecting the best of XDA. Participating in arguments is not what is expected. You also have an "RP" button. Use it. This also applies to Senior Users who have been around.
4. Arguing with a Moderator is pointless, and as such, can result in warnings/infractions/ban. So don't go that route. If you feel a Moderator is out of line, or made a mistake, you may argue your point via PM. Publicly posting is not a good way to go.
We are all here to help the users, and to mainly help continue the development of the devices. This is a Development site, not Facebook or other social networking sites.
If you have any issues or questions, please feel free to contact us via PM. You will find the moderator links at the top of each main forum.
Thank You.
Hello, I am not sure where to ask this question or if this is the correct forum, but here goes. My company is developing an app for a customer and I was wondering if you could help me out. The app sends an autoresponse with a text and the time included. I would like to know if there was a way to embed the timestamp so it can't be changed. The company who is doing the dev, is overseas and it is difficult to convey this--they think that a whole backend infrastructure has to be set up. I appreciate any help. Thanks

Is there a fix for this forum constantly refreshing when I am trying to view threads? Thought it was my home laptop just messed up, but here at work too. I open a forum and it just keeps trying to reload the screen every couple of seconds. Have to hit the X button to scroll down the page and click on a topic.
Thanks,
Glenn
I had noticed that before too, but attributed it to ad blocking. When I turned off the blocking, I no longer saw the page refreshes. Could have been placebo, though...

I have been having an issue where when I unlock the screen, the sound jumps from my headphones to the external speaker. This has happened once when opening a game as well.

And as for your signature, anyone can switch to browser view and search or use Google with XDA in the search parameters. Thanks.
I would think that voice tagging would be something built in with somthing like the galaxy 3, since its existed at least since N95 days.
Its mandatory for my father since he has an accent, and its better to just tag something with a particular word from a particular person and just use it to dial.
Is there a way, preferably free to use voice tagging?
Thanks in advance.
