Hello.. I have buy a micromax funbook p275. after using this tab about 4 month i though i should install android 4.1 in this tab.
But i don't know to install it. As i have search in Google many related forum are found. But i don't it is good or not.
Since, micromax funbook p275 doesn't have vol up or down button so it is very hard to install 4.1 in this device.
SO Please help me out from this. I want to install android 4.1 in p275 is their any correct way and tested way to install 4.1

You can't try any roms for micromax and it should work....try it at your own risk

Hi Shahabazas, I am stuck with my MMX A73.
I tried using UnlockRoot to root my phone but it comes up with the error 'Failed to get shell root'.
Tried using your method of SP Flash tool and CWM but that does not work for me either.
I turn off the phone (USB debugging enabled), run the SP Flash tool and point it to the scatter file you uploaded. It points to the scatter.txt file and the options below only has recovery checked.
The path to the recovery.img file included in your folder is displayed against the recovery option.
When I click 'download', nothing happens. It just tries to search and there is no timer or anything as mentioned in your post.
I am totally stuck at this point to try and root my Micromax A73. Please help me out. I have tried to use different computers but no help.
Buddy u have to select the scatter file and press download and then u will see timer in the tab which is down side right corner after that only u have to connect you phone and haan ur phone should be off means power off ur mobile and then connect the USB cable and as soon as u connect ur phone u ll see yellow progress bar once its 100% u ll have the new recovery on ur phone and haan follow d instructions provided by me to use d recovery.

Does the Doodle 2 come with an unlocked bootloader, or I have to unlock it before proceeding for the Root? Can anyone guide me as to how to root the Micromax Doodle 2 A240 and will all my data be lost in the process?

Could you help me with how did you root your phone ,i have tried using Framaroot and installed SuperSu separately too . But when i used Framaroot and selected any of the expolits as Boromir ,Faramir, it says Failed with an error #9 ,try other exploits .
Can you help me with the procedure and the app you used to Root your Canvas XL2 109 .
Id Appreciate .

use kingroot . which is in china language but it can root micromax xl2 a109

Are you solved the issue. if not try to get original firmware or Stock Rom for xl2 a109. then install it. then your your device will come in work
as you bought from store. by the by micromax xl2 a109 uses mt6589 not mt657x.

Can you provide the full procedure and a working link of all the requirements???? I am unable to flash stock rom because my laptop is unable to detect my phone. And I am new to this......

My phone is not starting up.
My phone is micromax canvas spark q380.I rooted my device then installed custom ROM ios9. After successful installation through twrp , I booted up my device got a message "Encryption was un successful" " decrypt partion " for that I had to fill a password which I don't know. I tried some but failed, then I installed sptool and drivers of my phone on my PC and downloaded stock ROM of my device.After successful installation, I was trying to switch on my device but it's not even showing any response not getting on. Please help....

You don't need to do, it will do it automatically, when you install any custom or stock ROM data are wiped automatically in the process
