Anybody know how to change the splash screen on g2x yet? Not boot animation the screen before?

I think that is in the boot.img if am not mistaken. It is an rle file. If you know how to mess with kernels, then it would be very easy for you.

Do you mean the boot animation? You can it's easy.. Search the g2x themes forums for the honeycomb boot animation thread that's what I have

I already know you can change the boot animation. I'm talking about the LG Logo when you turn on the phone.

Yes it's doable, but it involves "decompiling" the boot.img file, changing a file inside it (the boot image), and then "recompiling" the boot.img file.

[Q] Boot animations SGS 4G

I searched for this all ver however I was unable to find anything on this topic. I recently did a theme on UOT Kitchen and the boot animation never works. I'm stil stuck on the T mobile boot screen. Do anyone know how to get this to work? I'm trying to get the android dancing in white.

What ROM are you on? Does your kernel support bootanimation.zip?

I don't think GB kernels support bootanimation.zip yet. The Froyo Bali kernels do though.
If you just wanna get rid of that horrible T-Mobile crap, you could look for the SGSII boot up and shutdown.

DPI changed after switched back to Zeus from bbb4

Anyone had this happen to them? If so can u help me out on trying to change it. I tried some apps but when I reboot it stays on the Asus screen. Appreciate any help

Changing Samsung logo

Has anyone managed to change the Samsung logo before the splash screen would be awesome if someone has managed to change it would like to customize my phone even more
