I'm looking for a way to launch the multi window menu when the entire bottom bar is hidden with either the app "full screen" or "GMD hide status bar"
I find the bottom bag bar gets in the way too much when typing and love the clean look with it gone
Lmt launcher let's me use pie to set my nav buttons and it works great but I can't figure how to launch the multi window part of the nav bar without it there
Yes I can toggle the nav bar back and launch from there and that is what I do now but being that this is android I have to believe that there is another way and I'm either thinking too hard or just not smart enough to figure it out.
Either way any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading

Use gmd gestures. You can add multiwindow shortcuts in a launchpad. You should also install multiwindow manager that can create the shortcuts.

I was wondering if someone knows if there is a switcher on the market that is similar to the one we all know from Sense, when you tip on the Statusbar und swipe down (screenshot)
I don't use sense but i am really looking forward to have a good task switcher.
thanks for helping out
I use multitasking pro and love it... it opens with home btn while a second press opens up default launcher
For notification bar there are lot of them in the market but I would suggest folder organizer that allows you to put well organized folders as well as app shortcuts on status bar

There is a lot of empty space between the task switcher icon on the left and the clock on the right. Would be a perfect location for shortcuts to running apps etc.
That's a pretty good idea but as far as I know there is no way to do it unless some clever person has worked it out.

samsung has something like that on their SGT 10.1-roms... Maybe its possible to port that?
I don't find it THAT useful though...
there is a .app, something like quicklaunch, I use it with HC but can't remember the name... u should search in the market... but it's only quicklaunch, can't put shortcuts in bar

There was an application called Wizz Bar, you might be able to find it somewhere online. It allows you to press in the open space in the middle and it would open a little box over any application which you could launch from. That might work?
Here it is: Wizz Bar
I will look into Quick Launch, thanks.
It looks like Wizz Bar no longer works on ICS

Also try Elixir. cant remember if you can customise complicated shortcuts, but i know you can add toggle switches as well as quick launch apps

an "E" icon sits on the bottom right http://i.imgur.com/LwzlA.jpg
tapping that pops up a mini toolbar which you can customise with all sorts of toggles and switches.
This may have been discussed elsewhere but I wanted to get rid of the action bar as it uses too much real estate on the screen. This is easily done in settings>system>power menu expanded desktop. However this leaves no home, back or recent apps button. In comes LMT available on xda. It has a configurable slide pie launcher which when set replaces the action bar but only appears when you slide your finger in from the side.
I don't often post but this has pleased me greatly and I wanted to share.

Would be great if you share the LMT apps / thread

Hey guys
I'd like to know if any of you already tried to edit the google now gesture icon (see attached).
I use the google now gesture to lock my N5, so I'd like to have a lock icon or something alike.
Thank you!
Grush
Pretty sure you can't edit the Google now gesture icon without a custom ROM or 3rd party app... I used Home Button Launcher ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dynamicg.homebuttonlauncher) to edit - simple and perfect, IMO.

Is there anyway to swipe down on the middle of the screen to pull down the notification bar? Seems like a simple feature that should be on this phone. Am i missing it ? Thanks
Just the home sceeen? That's a launched feature. If you mean everywhere that isn't a good idea as appa with downwards swiping (read: many) would not be able to swipe down. I'd be cool if the stock launcher had it tho

Yes just on the home screen. I find it hard to swipe down all the way from the top.
A good gesture to add support for in Cyanogen.
Then you could try using a launcher with gesture support, such as Nova, Apex, etc...
I use that on apex launcher on all my phones. And I do now.
Also use swipe up gesture.
It's ideal! Plus apex is quicker and more customizable then trebuchet

Most third party launchers have gesture support and enabled as default on Nova launcher. If using Google now launcher you'd need xposed framework along with GEL xposed to achieve gestures.
