Does anyone have the OTA ZIP file that was pushed to US Cellular devices? This would be the one that updated the shipping R970VXUAMDB firmware to R970VXUAMDL. I need it so I can mirror it on my website.

If you're talking about FRF50 release then you will never receive this OTA as it's a test build - destined only for test devices. However, you can download it and apply it manually if you look in the Nexus One category.
When the official version is released for public wide OTA distribution then you can get it that way.
Why are you waiting for it to come OTA when you can get it now?
Thanks for your reply. I apologise for the confusion. I wanted to check if people received the Froyo update directly from Google on their mobile phones rather manual update.

Already got my Froyo in Romania. Hope you get it too. BTW I think it has to be SIMlock free to get the update.
updated my desire tonight seems to work fine on the un branded phone. However having some problems with data connection now :-S
been searching day and night for the OTA update as well....but now i will check the nexus one part...is the froyo update rooted yet?...

Hi, I am in canada with an unlocked S4 from AT&T. Kies does not work and i can't get the OTA bc i am using another sim.

Don't we have to have the boot loader unlock first to flash that file cause I believe we have to fastboot it?

if you boot into recovery, there is an option to install update from SD card. I would assume you would just download that update file, place on the root of the SD card, choose that option in recovery, and select the file and it would update.
I just got my update this morning...this is the first OTA update i have taken in over 3 years....lol
I got the update just after midnight.

This is a link to the I9505G update file. It's of no use to end users, devs might want it I guess. AT&T certainly doesn't roll updates quickly so don't expect one for us too soon.

Hey guys, I have a question I hope someone can help me out with. I have the sm-g935v which I flashed to sm-g935u. I'm considering flashing it to sm-g935t since the unlocked firmware will be getting quarterly updates which is unfortunate, and I would like to use samsung cloud, FM radio, and now Nougat. Would I have to factory reset my phone back to the verizon firmware before flashing tmobile's, or can I just flash from my current unlocked firmware straight to tm? Prior to Nougats release, I had downloaded the latest tmobile firmware and tried to flash it with no success so not sure what I did wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Won't taking the OTA update certain partitions we don't necessarily want to update? Like the BL, for example? Could this prevent rolling back to 6.0.1 if there are issues? Or does this not matter since we don't have an unlocked BL anyway? Thanksssss

The update is for T-Mobile users using the T firmware. You are on the US Unlocked firmware.
I got this also and updated this morning. Very smooth and loving it! Did OTA update and one thing i noticed after updating i wasn't able to clear my cache like before. When i power down, hold all 3 buttons (power, home and up key) get a screen more like a warning saying installing other firmware's or roms can damage my device. Not the exact wording but similar. Has anyone else tried doing that and got the same warning msg?
