I tried to restore my xoom back to stock using a download from phandroid. I went through the process and the last step on my xoom was to select yes and re lock my xoom. I stupidly hit cancel by accident and when my xoom rebooted it was back to stock. So i tried to apply the 3.1 update in settings and when it rebooted my xoom wouldnt go past the logo, and it freezes when i try to boot into recovery

I'm trying to flash the Vegan-Tab ROM on the gTablet I just got. I installed the 1.1 bootloader and CM .8. Or, I think I did. When I power up using power and volume +, I never got a menu when I tried installing these. The green box just popped up, so I assumed it was installing, then it rebooted normally. So when I try to boot into recovery mode, it does the same thing, and the menu never comes up. Did I do something wrong?
I have a similar problem ... loaded CM7 safely, was working for a while, all good. Decided (stupidly) to update recovery from CWM and now, nothing I do can get it to boot into recovery! Not manually, not through software (boot to recovery) options...
Also, the viewsonic birds screen is gone, so I assume something bad happened to the bootloader.
Still boots to 'production' cleanly, just not recovery or bootloader. Help!
FIXED - had to nvflash back to stock and start over!
I have a B50 tf101 running raymans cm10 v6. Everything was going fine until i went to use it today. It started out saying I was running out of memory space, so i did a factory reset. After doing that, everytime i try to reboot, it goes straight to cwm recovery. I tried reflashing the rom, but now in cwm it only reads my internal sd card in which everything is still there, but now it wont read my ext-sdcard where i have my backups and roms. i tried using one of the restore tools, easyflasher and brk_rootkit, but everytime i go to restore and it tells me to go into APX mode which i do, it says it cant load the bootloader. I can get the rom to boot if i hard restart the tablet and let linux cold boot itself, but if i go to restart it, it goes straight back to cwm every time. i tried loading twrp on it from goo manager but that didnt work. i'm stuck now with a half working tablet that i cant get back to factory form. someone please help!

Use easy flash and push twrp recovery.
Sent from my Transformer using xda app-developers app
I've already tried that, it doesn't work. It says it does, but everytime I go to recovery, it boots into CWM.
I've been so frustrated with this tablet lately i'm ready to get the Nexus 7 so i don't have these stupid issues, be as easy as modding my Galaxy Nexus.
So I flashed the new synergy to try out the multiwindow pinning, but had the intention of going back to my nandroid right after trying it out. After flashing it and booting it up, and trying it out, I tried going back to my recovery (TWRP). But when my phone showed the TWRP welcome screen, it just stuck there and flashed every couple of seconds (like every 5 seconds) instead of going up and revealing the recovery. So I pulled battery and tried the hardware keys for recovery. It did the same thing. So I tried booting back up to my system, but it kept trying to go into recovery, so I went to download mode and pressed the down button to reboot (this time successfully). I did this about three times, and it kept failing to go to recovery. So I decided the flash cwm. With cwm I was able to get to recovery and move around in the menus, but as soon as I try factory resetting to flash another rom I had on my sd card, it froze. So I rebooted back up to my system using the download mode again. So now I have a booting phone but my recoveries don't work. I have flashed roms numerous times without problems, I checked to make sure my bootloader is unlocked, and am rooted. Can anyone tell me how to get my recoveries to work?
Edit: I just tried goo manager and installed the latest twrp. It went to recovery. Ill edit if I have any other issues.
My devise is unlocked, rooted and I have flashed clockwork recovery. I backed up my system using clockwork and was still using my ASUS system. I wanted to reset the tablet to factory and when I did it just went to the Android. After 20 minitues I realized there was a problem since it kept spinning. I tried to reboot to recovery by holding down the power and down vol keys but it will not go to recovery. Any Ideas? any Help.
No one will believe this

So I was really upset about the tablet and just left it in the loop. Even after I attempted to re-boot it several times I was trying to let the battery run out. Well after about an hour it booted into the factory reset tablet. I'm going to leave it alone!! No more roms or recovery's for me. All I saw was $400 down the drain. Thank God its running again.
Next time you can follow these steps in order to install the stock ROM.:
http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...er-update-your-me301t-using-adb-fastboot.html
It works with fastboot which means that you can flash the ROM even if the device is bootloops.
It saved more than once
Let me preface from saying I've had this phone and flashed countless ROMs on it.
Also the power button died on it (fast reboot etc problem) and since I had already ordered my Nexus 5 I just decided to rip the button off and use it for the few weeks until I got my new phone.
Now that its been a while I decided to see what I could do with it and wanted to boot. It wouldn't boot and was stuck at the loading screen for a good hour. So I went okay I'll just decide to use Odin and bring it back to stock. Followed the guide here to the T and 3 separate times all that happens is the phone is stuck at the S boot screen. Tried both stock roms posted.
Now since I don't have a power button I can't get into recovery (which I'm assuming is wiped but I have the Odin recovery ready to flash but whats the point?)
I tried adb/fastboot and the phone isn't recognized.
Any suggestions? Currently stuck at the boot logo for 1hr 25min. I'm aware of wiping the cache but I don't know how to do that without recovery.
Edit: So I opened the sucker again, got some foil and shorted the power button contacts and actually got to the stock recovery and did a wipe of the data and cache. Now booting fingers crossed. If this doesn't work at least I know I can get into recovery and install TWRP and a custom rom and see if that boots. However if this is a go then I'm good (only want it t run Perktv)
Edit2: So I couldn't get anything to install with TWRP (tried 3 different roms) so I went to the other recovery (Philz?)
Was able to install SlimKat (was using SlimBean when I was using the phone) and was finally able to install it... now its in a boot loop.
So I guess back to fully wiping (again) but I remember with these phones you had to do the wipe 2x which I didn't do. God I'm so spoiled with the Nexus.
Off to do that and see if that helps.
Edit3: Worked!! Woohoo
