About MoKee OpenSource
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP and CyanogeMod project. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
The Mfunz Forums launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better.
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development. Newcomers are always welcomed!

Installation Instructions:
Note:This ROM uses kexec kernel(3.0.8).Those of you who were getting the black screen problem with kexec kernel will get the same bug here.
Note:To be flashed via BMM only
Note:Please backup your CID just to be safe.So that if you get a message invalid CID or something just restore it and you'll be good to go.
To backup CID:
Reboot into Recovery
Tap on firmware flashing
Tap on backup CID.
BMM instructions:
See here if this is your first time multibooting with BMM.
Download and install BMM from google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...otmenu.manager
Our phone does not have a partition for internal storage.. so we use the data partition for it.. To do so, just open a root browser like root explorer and navigate to /etc/bmm/conf
Open "recovery.fstab" with a text editor
The last line will be something like this
/int vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p25
Just change 'vfat' to 'auto' and 'mmcblk1p25' to 'userdata' (its the same though..)
So that it looks like this
/int auto /dev/block/userdata
and of course save it and close it..
Done.. you are good to go.. Happy Multi Booting..
Just some tips
On your first reboot, tap the android, go to settings-->System_2-->Partition setup and tap on ACTIVATE. This formats cdrom partition to ext2.
Now go back 2 two steps, and select any other system(3-6). choose Partition setup, tap on system.img, tap on Create, select the size, create it. go back and do the same with data.img and cache.img.
Once thats done, go back and select recovery, select switch system. choose your system that you created the images for, the colour will change, install any custom rom.. Enjoy!!
NOTE: BMM stores the images in internal memory(/int/clockworkmod/virtual/system_(num)). Since we dont have emmc partition and are using the data partition for /int, doing a factory reset will wipe it out and you will lose all your other roms.. So be carefull..
NOTE 2: USE ONLY SYSTEMS 3 TO 6 FOR CUSTOM ROMS.. SUSTEM 2 IS CDROM PARTITION.. YOU ACTIVATE IT ONCE AND DONE.. DONT TOUCH IT AGAIN.. ITS ONLY 12MB..
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL BMM IF YOU USED A2 BOOTSTRAPPER BEFORE. THAT WILL MESS THINGS UP WITH YOUR LOGWRAPPER.BIN. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL BOOT LOOP AFTER REBOOT. NOW IF FOR SOME REASON YOU DID NOT READ THIS, AND GET A MESSAGE ABOUT BMM ASKING YOU TO GET HELP, BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS RECHARGE YOUR BATTERY FULLY AND FXZ BACK. OR THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL HAVE TO USE MCGRUVYER METHOD OR ANOTHER A2 BATTERY. USER RAD7 RECENTLY HAD QUITE A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH HIS BATTERY DYING AFTER BMM MESSED WITH LOGWRAPPER. YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED.
Make sure you have BMM recovery.
Reboot and hit the droid at the BMM splash screen
Optional:
Tap on Settings
Create a new System by creating system, data and cache partitons.Delete the previous partitions if you have to(NOTE: You can skip this but it's better to do it this way)

Nah nothing will be messed except if you have ROMs installed on other systems. As to install you'll wipe data and that in turn will wipe all your other systems.

I'm studing/learning and doing some reviews these months, for a certificate of my job
So I had to leave deving for about 3 months, I think I would be back on Sep.

The whole story of this ROM is pretty funny I was contacted last month about it, and I am kind of glad it worked out that I didn't get involved..
But good work again, devesh..and you fixed his bugs? Nice. I think they will appreciate it. We should be feeding off one another to make all of these ROMs better..
@wanggjghost, good to see you around again also.

Yea, the github client for windows is pretty nice actually. You got a github account? Then you need to fork the proper repo from mokee's git, clone your fork to your machine, make changes, push the commits back to your git, then submit a pull request to mokee..
But, wait, what did you change? Pre-built vendor files? Need to find the proper repo to make changes to first I guess..
Sent from my MB865 using xda app-developers app

Well, I had come out some ideas about deving and fixing the bugs(or setting up a cm-based project on andorid 4.3 later), but I need to test/try after finishing my own things.
For commit changes, U can use the github windows app(http://windows.github.com/), it's very easy

Downloading it now.... :good: I need more systems in my BMM to keep all this

Will this work on the US ATT Atrix 2?

Little different with the notification icons and quick settings but over smooth. Took me forever to finally get it to boot. Just all depends on how many times I wanna reboot to get it. Great job on the Rom!

2. Miui 4.0.4

General Information:
This is my continuation of doing AOKP PUB Builds for the Nexus 7. PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) aimed to bring Linaro toolchain and other optimizations to the normal AOKP build. My goal is to simply continue these builds providing releases based off current code. Current builds are using the latest (2013.09) release of the 4.8.2 Toolchain. Builds using O3, strict-aliasing, and other optimizations where applicable.
The original thread for reference:
Stephen.k.spear Orig PUB Builds Thread
Releases:
The target will be weekly builds on the weekend with a build during the week only where needed for bug fixes to be merged or some major change we just can't wait for
There are two Release Types
TYPE 1 is your traditional ROM Flashable zip.
You must flash gapps after flashing this ROM as it can not be included in the ROM zip.
Current Gapps: gapps-jb-20130813
Slim Gapps(needed for full Dark UI functionality): Slim Gapps 4.3 DownloadsTYPE 2 is an Aroma Installer that includes the ROM, latest gapps, and many other options. See Post 2 below for further details.More than likely any middle of the week builds will not get rolled into the Aroma.
Kernel:
I am currently building the tegra3 grouper kernel from google source (stock). It is the kernel that will be installed if you just flash this as is. This is a perfectly fine daily driver, should be stable and safe across all devices.
If you are looking for better battery life, better performance during gaming, or even just more control over various settings at the kernel level then feel free to try one of the other great kernels offered for this device. I will not recommend one, I will recommend you try them all and see which works best for you.
Installation:
Download rom zip and gapps
Reboot to recovery
Wipe cache/dalvik (full wipe when needed)
Flash rom
Flash gapps
Reboot

Thanks! Also, since you have switched to the stock tegra Kernel, which kernel would give fastest performance? I liked the faux built inline with Steve's builds. I want pure performance without burning out my device. I play games and watch loss of videos. I guess I'm looking for a kernel that will clover maximum performance in games and videos, and will also deliver creamy UI transitions. Thanks.
BTW, in case you couldn't tell, I'm somewhat new at this. I know just enough to sound somewhat competent I guess. I have unlocked, rooted, and flashed both my n7 and n4 through fastboot. Never touched a root kit.

I'll add this type of answer to the OP as well when I have time to clean it up but here is the gist of it. I can't answer you.
Of the main kernels (regularly updated) you'll see for this device (faux, motley, metallice, franco, morfic), these are all established kernel dev's here. They spend countless hours on these kernel's and know them quite well. There is no way I could say to use one over another. Even if one is more geared toward stability and battery life vs gaming performance each may run differently on each device as the hardware is not exactly the same on every N7. Some can get away with -75mv while other's would have lock ups there. Some can overclock gpu, cpu higher than others and run perfectly smooth and others would see a random reboot. Even with the differences on a default flash of any of these dev's kernels, you then have a plethora of further settings you can tweak. There are voltages, clock speeds, governor, scheduler, and literally many many more.
Personally I'd read through each of those threads, at least the first few pages and the last 10 or so to see the current posts and tweaks the other users are making or their feedback. Try each of the kernels for a few days. You might get the feeling of a couple you like better or you think run a bit smoother for YOUR device with YOUR usage. At that point you can determine how much further down that kernel rabbit hole you want to go, ie. tweaking the intricate little settings that might help you vs the dev's stock settings. With all that being said, and all the variables at play in the kernel world, I can't imagine an answer I could give you that wouldn't be intrinsically incorrect. Hence, re-read the bold text above.

Working like a charm on tilapia. No problems so far. The notifications are a bit low on the bar in tablet ui, but it's the same in every aokp build I've tried. Thank you for this fine rom.

Never understood why this happened here, but not on PA, but yeah, this is definitely the smoothest rom I have run on any device.

Not much yet. Just added 0.2x option to the windows/transition animation scales, and forced the Force 4x MSAA option based on your recommendations.
But I just wanted to make a cm10.1 for myself to play with.. And it was a lot less effort compiling CM than it was with PA(aosp-based)..
I gots lots of ideas for this ROM.. But we'll see what comes out of it. User and fellow dev comments/input/suggestions are welcome as I continue to develop this.

Hmm.. Vibrate works for me.. I noticed that it can be spotty on and off though.. I think it's hwcomposer related and should be fixed when we can bring it back with kexec.

Can I flash this over wangg's first cm10 build as an update so I don't lose all my data? Or is it a completely different Rom? I'm pretty sure I remember some people flashing kexec cm10.1 over it without issue... and is it BMM?

Should be fine updating from wangg's without wiping... Wait the cm10 or 10.1? You can try, but if you run into issues then you know why..
The newest version should work with all of our custom recoveries.. And bmm is included as default

Bluetooth paired, but sound still routes through phone. I may be inept also. Reboot and clearing caches, and delete/ re-pair didn't work either. No Bluetooth volume present in the menu, but I get the pairing beep routed properly.
Best running version I've ran so far. Thank you for your diligence. You certainly work some magic.

AOKP is coming.. Not from me, but I'm sure it will make it's appearance in due time. And it won't be "ported" - why does everyone use that word? (Ok.. I guess "porting" it to an unsupported device is proper usage, but not like porting as in taking from another ROM already compiled for another device..) We are compiling from source now fellas...
Plus, I have my own age(hid)nda*..

Awesome to see a new thread man. Great ROM, really stable and fast for all basic usage.
Great Rom! Thanks for working on the port Ayysir!!! Cant wait for future updates!
I haven't been on AOSPA since version 3.0, I see in the change log that multi window has been integrated into the ROM, what is AOSPA's version of multi window? Is it the same as Samsung's multi window?

There is nothing like Samsung's multiwindow on AOSP. What Paranoid Android implemented is something completely new called Halo that gives a different (some would say better) approach to multitasking and notifications.
You can get a good idea of what Halo does here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5WljHcOyXs
BTW I've been running the 6/26 build and the 6/27 build with no major issues. LTE works fine, bluetooth for calling works great, performance is awesomely smooth. I love the clean AOSPA experience.
However, the phone seems to heat up quite a bit compared to CM 10.1 6/24 nightly, especially when on a phone call. Also at least on 6/26 the Halo blacklist doesn't seem to work for the Phone application, if I use Halo while in a call the phone/dialer becomes a Halo window and stays that way until I reboot.
Thanks ayysir for making this thread, keep the builds coming, I'm glad to officially have AOSPA support on this device.
Thanks for the new thread but could you change the title to put paranoid Android in the beginning of the title? those on tapatalk for phone cannot see the the rom's name on the thread's list (unless you have your phone in portrait mode).
Sorry for the clutter post!

Thanks for posting that video, it really helped. I've heard of halo before but never looked into what it actually was. That video explained and demonstrated it very well, and now that I know what halo is I can't wait to flash "official" AOSPA to play with halo. Looks really great!

It wasn't meant as a smart ass comment. sorry if It came out that way. Last time I made a backup of CM and installed PA to try it out and went back to CM from restore it didn't restore correctly. All I'm worried about is that. But I really do Like this halo feature. I guess I'll give it a go

I'm using the I535VRBMB1 AIO package, and everything is working great. I've avoided the newer ones until I know for sure the network issues have been resolved.
The issues with md3 have been solved with mf1. Works awesome.

I was reading that VRBMF1 lead to some Camera issues (depending on Kernel), but better signal. I'm guessing no camera issues with ParanoidAndroid?
EDIT: Decided to flash VRBMF1 AIO, and looks like I'm getting better GPS and signal (-84 dBm, 56 asu). No camera issues so far. I'll test this out on my commute home and see if it stays awesome. Let's assume that VRBMF1 AIO is a good pairing with ParanoidAndroid.

P/s: I want to Make KANG Work but still finding mah own Flavor you know so just build and will Stick with one I like and Kang while updating from sources for others

. Screw it I'm gonna keep teaching you. Next time if it's a kernel change (like TWRP is) you can just let the build finish, resync the tree, then just mka bootimage. It'll detect which files are new (bootable/recovery) and it'll include them in the new bootimage.
Flash the new bootimage to test and see if the new kernel changes stuck. Then you can just run another mka bacon (WITHOUT the clobber) to get your updated zip . You can probably do that with your current build so you can get these hungry hungry people their update with TWRP included.
Heh, I updated the OP - No.2 - For TWRP Aries kernel. All Credit goes to @FBis251 Go and thanks him ppl
And alternative kernels finally start rolling out
So by works with all Roms, are you talking about Aries JB 4.2 or all 4.2?

Just with already-aries ROMs cause herring 4.2 didn't build w like aries-module compatible so if u flash it onto herring 4.2, still work but u wouldn't have wifi or things
btw, @Cooptx: Sorry man for not updating OPs w ur new images cause I'm having trouble w loading XDA pages like, slow as hell so I just manage to update the OP via mobile app at my convenience cause the links to my goo r basically the same n I can copy, paste, change basic things on mah phone
Wasnt there a cm7 mokee os herring rom for sgs4g ? Its kinda difficult to see what roms really stand out from each other with aries... But from your op dao, im gonna give this a whirl sounds fresh... And fb thanks for aries twrp.. You were just talkin about that earlier on irc. So crazy how fast this aries craze is goin. Good work!

Edit:this is not the same as mokee os cm7. Completely different and this rom is pretty amazing i must say. I wanna try domination to compare although it will be hard to get it this smooth. If dao gets linaro in that would be unreal.
I removed the link for Aries TWRP kernel because of severe problems as Flashing improperly or lack of the ability to backup n restore. I will contact @FBis251 tho cause I'm noob at these things lmao and this is his child and I'm busy w linaro testing building tho (the terminal is still scrolling this time lol), stay tuned.
For those who flashed mah TWRP, NO NEED TO GO BACK TO STOCK - nah, suck to do a long progress again and lose ur data. Just use Heimdall (Frontend for Windows) to flash the old kernel came w Mokee first build and then flash the ROM n GAPPS WITHOUT WIPE A THING OR JUST PUSH THE MODULES FROM THE FIRST BUILD INTO THE RIGHT PLACE n set the rite permission of course. Sorry for this inconvenience .
I got it to flash properly and im running twrp now but thanks !

General Information:
This is my continuation of doing AOKP PUB Builds just adapted for the Nexus 7 Flo. PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) aimed to bring Linaro toolchain and other optimizations to the normal AOKP build. My goal is to simply continue these builds providing releases based off current code. Current builds are using the latest (2013.09) release of the 4.8 Toolchain. Builds using O3, strict-aliasing, and other optimizations where applicable.
Kernel:
I am currently building the flo kernel from aokp google/msm source (stock).
Flash rom
Flash gapps
Reboot

You can get inverted applications in multiple ways. First I'd recommend going to System Settings and flipping the switch for Dark AOKP.
This will invert many of the core Gapps for you. For any other applications you may want inverted, there are two great threads that will make this trivial for you:
Midnight Gapps Project
Team BlackOut
Thanks:
- faux123 for his kernel included in this aroma.
- Tk-Glitch for his kernel included in this aroma.
- amarullz for aroma itself and the continued updates
- the great boot animations by thor6577, be sure to check his thread for more!
Thanks, downloading, will report back when flashed.
Update: Really stable so far, and smooth, gonna try the Aroma one later, thanks!
:good: Thanks, i'm waiting for Aroma Link, It still not up yet i think. :good:
Finally, and it's nice too see the kernel built from aosp which means no cm drama recently.
Unfortunately it also breaks the compatibility with custom kernels like latest cm nightlies did, blue screen on boot.

This sounds great. going to have to try it. I will assume that the posted build has the broken user profiles as this has been broken in AOKP source(at least on flo but maybe other devices) since Sep 29th. I will wait until this issue is fixed in AOKP source before trying this rom as i need user profiles.
Psyched that you finally made it over here Mr. R! :good:
Can't wait to give this beast a go. Only thing left is for Morfic to bring his uberness to the kernel world for Flo/Deb.
It's been a while since I've seen you in the S3 section, nice to see you here as well. If we are already on another AOKP rom do you think we could dirty-flash this or is it different enough that we should do a full wipe?
the Aroma download link doesnt work.

I dirty flashed from stock and had a process.acore.whatever keep crashing. I cleared contacts storage data/cache and force stopped it and haven't seen it since. Should be fine but if you see weird issues don't post them here until you try a clean flash, that's all I ask.

I don't really play with user profiles so not sure exactly what is "broken". However clicking on users did give me the process.acore has stopped message and clearing contacts storage data and cache made that go away. I can create a user profile just fine in my quick little test.

Any chance of seeing a "OneAromaToBindThem" for Flo, with all of the Aroma goodies but without the AOKP ROM itself? Loved having this toolbox for flashing various ROMs on my Grouper. (Yes, I know I could just download the full Aroma, but space is at a premium on my internal storage.)

ugh... so many things to maintain... And since I'll no longer include inverts there would really just be kernels and apps right?
I feel like its a waste to have the inverts as the thread I link to in the OP keeps them updated and honestly once TRDS got good I rarely even flash another inverted app now. Is there something else you used it for that I'm missing?
