You need to change the xml's in the framework-res.apk.
Or upgrade to 2.2 beta 4 and flash cm settings.

Idk if there's anything related to that but you can add text on screen with the "amazing text free" app.

If you want to add your name in status bar then follow some steps :
1. Download Carrier Name Changer application
2. Open it & enter your new operator name (any name) to be added as a operator onto your status bar.
3. Select Ok.
4. It will be ask for a backup of your status bar (if you want to backup select Yes : else select No).
5. Grant root access and when done, select Reboot.
6. It will make a beep-like sound for seconds and then it will restart your phone.

If u want your name to appear in the pull down status bar, i prefer u uot kitchen..
But as u ask for the name to be on the top corners, u ll have to play around with xmls. U ll have to decompile the systemui.apk in the data/app folder.. and search for clockview (i guess so) then u ll have to add a textview tag with "@strings/ur_name" along woth thd alignment and appearance preferences. I haven't tried it anyways

it start downloading ,then extracting............and then the status bar is hiding............after restarting the phone the status bar is unavailable
then i have to restore my previous system ui..........

This is just themed systemui of stock 4.1 Stock rom ..working on stock odexdd rom u can test in ur rom also maybe it will work..instructions - open root explorer go to system/app and paste this one set permissions to rw-r-r then reboot done enjoy for lockscreen and recent button search on xda u will get it ..

Use gravity box bro simple ..there u can fine transparency management then set transparency for launcher to 100% no need to reboot device..
I tried with the module Xposed but does not change the transparency in the lockscreen also putting 100% ... if you please change the mod you did putting the transparent status bar is a marvel ... thanks

Its difficult for me as I m new in modding and I m using gravity box module for transparent status bar and its working ..let me tell u process 1st install xposed framework install gravity box then activate gravity box in xposed module section then reboot then go to transparency management and set transparency of status bar to 100% its working 1000%..

What he meant was when the screen turns off and become the lockscreen, the status bar part does not become transparent. And yes it won't. U need to modify the androidpolicy.jar for the lock screen transparency
It is in fact this I mean ... how do you change the androidpolicy.jar for transparency lock screen?
Hello... how can change system icons, any program?. i use UNICON but i dont know why now can change effect.
Unicon hasn't been updated for months and won't work with the current root methods. I didn't find another way to replace system wide icons either.

with root the best install " galaxy icon themer" and than chose ur icon apk and install open galaxy icon them and chose frome there
Theres only one true great icon theme changer xperiacle galaxy icon themer pro and it cjanges 100 % icons and with pro version you can change on a per app basis nothing comes close to it

I agree with you but sometimes it haves a bug i cant solve, at mine the phone and contacts have the same icon in the system settings, so when i want the phone app at my lockscreen its showing the contacts icon.
anyone else having this isue or knowing how to solve this?
