New Cheap Case On Ebay

Anyone got one of these yet, and if so whats it like, very very cheap, looks like a cheaper version of the SGP, but its in stock and in the UK

Problem with a seller with that many feedback is, you can go months with purely negative feedback before it affects the % significantly.

The guy's a drop shipper. I actuallly bought a couple of Galaxy Portal cases and some SGS screen protectors from him last week. Had no problems with delivery on the stuff I ordered from him. I asked about the silicone SGS cases at the time and he told me he was currently out of stock - that's why I ended up buying the Zenus case.

I ordered one of those yesterday and received an email through to say it had been despatched, hopefully it'll arrive soon.

Just a quick follow up to this, it arrived after a couple of days and for the money the case is great. It fits well and isn't too thick and does it's job of making the phone a lot less slippy.
The screen protector shipped with it was a Terrapin one which is not bad although the edges didn't stick brilliantly.
One thing of note for a few phone calls people were complaining that I sounded muffled and finally I checked the mic and the hole for it in the case was cut but it hadn't gone all of the way through, no wonder people had trouble hearing me.

lol, yea my gfs turned up, i ordered mine the day after here and 3 extra days later it isnt here lol.
hers like you said was a really good fit, surprising for the money, all slots lined up and for £3 even the camera cutout has a small bevel
really good value for money, but if you want a decent screen protector dont buy this one because its included, imho its crap, well compared to my martin fields

The wife got one of these for her galaxy..she thinks its ok, however she is going to buy a jelly one as well as this one gets dusty and covered in little hairs (so she tells me!)
Also the screen protectors edges don't stick very very well.
She'll keep you posted on the jelly one (but its coming from hong kong..so it may be a while!)

as far as im aware its pretty much jelly anyway, i would think the real 'wobbly' ones lol would attract more lint etc

no i don't like those that are really jelly.
those attracts way too much dust.
you can always wash it off, but it's very annoying to do it on a daily basis

yea it looks great, and even better when you put them on the phone.
However, do you know if these i9000 case going to be compatible with samsung Vibrant

it's of the same phone design, no difference in the buttons cut outs
the only difference is in the front facing camera which some of the USA carriers are missing
those cases doesn't cover the front anyways, so it's not an issue

Spigen SGP Ultra Thin Air

So Spigen SPG came out with an Ultra Thin Air case, which in my opinion, is absolutely BEAUTIFUL: spigen.com/cell-phone/htc/one-x/htc-one-x-ultra-thin-air-series.html
Unfortunately, it is only for the international version! I inquired about it from the representative and got this response:
Thank you for the information. We will keep note of that information for our future customers. Unfortunately, as of now, we do not have any definite plans to create a case for the HTC One X USA/Canada version. However, if there is high interest from our customers we may change production plans in the future.
So if you're in the same boat as me, looking for this case for the AT&T/Rogers version, e-mail them showing the demand for this!

Are you sure its not compatible?
My TPU case was only ment for the Intl. version but it fits fine on my AT&T one and all the dock connectors are open.

Your right that is a very sexy case. I would just worry about that super glossy exterior getting all scratched up.
They put a note in red font on the quick overview tab about being compatible with international One X. not sure if that was there before you emailed them, if not that's quick handling of business on their end.

This is the case I liked the looks of the best, and I am sad it says only international. I didn't think they were physically different, maybe I should just go for it. I got the Speck case from at&t so I would have something on it for now. Love the 30 day return on accessories.

Last time I check the outside of the HOX and HOXL are exactly the same. The only difference should be the TEGRA3.
So I can't see why the case wouldn't work.

The Spigen Ultra Thin Air case picture as listed below...

The differences are small but there are differences.
For one, the pogo pins are shifted:

And second, the XL version (LTE version) is almost half a millimeter taller. (Which actually changes the position of the camera protrusion slightly)

Some cases should work on both but some just do not fit correctly.

Funny as this maybe I have the HOX and HOXL (Rogers) and both back end of them are identical. Could it just be a mistake they made when packaging?

I'm curious, what are the carrier branding on each device? The reason I ask is because it depends on the LTE chip if it's an XL variant or not but sometimes the carriers exclude the "L". Like AT&T and Rogers opt to use the "X" moniker while carriers like Telstra and Vodafone (Germany) use "XL".

I have no Branding on either phone. I have the Rogers one from the Telephone Booth and the Tegra3 one from Expansys. There's no carrier Branding on either one.

Yeah, I saw that Rogers didn't brand the device. Very odd indeed. It would be hard to see the 1/2 millimeter difference unless you whip out a slide rule and maybe Rogers opted for the identical pin placement, who knows. I'm stumped.
I'm sure the case will fit then. You might (or might not) notice a very, very slight misalignment but I doubt it would be anything to worry about. Let us know when you get it.

I'll definitely let you guys know. I'll probably have a few pictures at the same time. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Awesome, can't wait!
I mean, I feel like even the international version will fit the AT&T model, and give access to all ports, but it won't be perfectly aligned, and that bother's me. I know it's OCD but for me, its about functionality as well as how it looks!

Unless someone is going to be up close and personal to inspect the phone it won't bother me at all.

ahaha thx guys. As soon as I have the case, I'll snap pictures from far and close so that you can see the difference if you need to. It's worth the 20$ I spent for it at least in IMO.

Here are couple of shots. Not the best shot, but hopefully will show you guys how it blends with the HOX.
I like it so far. Not much of a fall protection, but good enough to protect the back and the lens.
One thing I've noticed is that the cut out for the lens and flash, is a bit off.
It also comes with a screen protector, and also comes in a very nice plastic case. Well worth the $20 + S/H.

Awesome case!! I'm a fan of the fitted, sleek cases. I use the case-mate barely there(white) and its very similar to this,except the camera lens portion. Great pic showing the nice design.

Well a good picture of the lens and flash is what everyone wants. cant tell be the angled pic. Also i have some cases really similar and i hate the glossy finish. too damn slippery. wont stay on my leg in the car for more than a few seconds. it slides like its lubricated lol

I bought the same as this , black and a silver colour but it looks horrible and my s4 doesnt even fit on it , so i had to throw them yesterday in a garbage , so dont waste any cents on this crap

Interesting... It's an aluminum copy of the Eclipse case without the kickstand... They even copied the cutout to bring the sound to the front.

I had one of those before, you lose a bit of signal strength, but not bad. The case looks bad on a black S4, but could look nice on a white one. I bought one for $15. I personally don't recommend it.

I just purchased one from Amazon for the S4 I9500 and I am losing about 2 bars of signal. It looks great and the entire back is true carbon fiber. I like the case but would like to find a way to increase the signal.

Not worth buying
Anything that affects the signal of the phone is not worth buying. And you mentioned that you are losing about 2 bars? I would rather prefer other materials for the Back Cover like Carbon Fiber or even Plastic (as long as it has the same quality as the original)

Are nice but if I´m going to lose signal, I prefer don´t buy one. I do not really see too practical.
I will continue using Flip cover until something I like appears.

Case-Mate POP Case - Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

I got the Case-Mate POP Case from AT&T. My phone comes Monday, so my options for picking up a case local were limited.
It seems to be well made. I wasn't thrilled about the ~$30 price tag though.
They also sell the Incipio Silver/Black DualPro Shine but I didn't get to see it in person.

Did you actually pick up at local store? I am curious to know about the case because I need a case and don't want to wait few weeks for a decent case to hip and come in the mail but not a lot of options around.
My concerns with the case is how sturdy the kickstand feels nd does it come with screen protector.

Yes, I picked it up at a local store. Only two in the area had stock according to the online inventory.
The kickstand is kind of flimsy, but I think it'll do the job.
It did not come with a screen protector.

Got the case on. I think it is an amazing case and the fit is very nice. The phone is much more grippy.
With the exception of the wussy kickstand, it is almost perfect.

Got it last night and I completely agree.
It is thin, protective, the side grips are great and the kickstand is an added bonus.

I agree also. I started with the Samsung flip case but stopped in to the store today to get a screen protector and noticed the Pop case. I swapped the flip case for it. It looks awesome and now I finally feel like the phone is protected and complete. I have the UAG case coming, but not sure it is going to beat the Case-Mate honestly.

Does the phone fit into a Samsung dock with the case on?

I don't have the dock but if the dock is form-fitting to the Edge's profile...then I doubt it.

I looked at it at an AT&T store, even trying it on my phone, but my only concern was how far the S-Pen ends up buried in that case. The opening to get a finger in to remove the S-Pen is quite small. I was unable to get it out at all. Do any of you have a similar experience?

With the groove on the metal of the s-pen, I'm easily able to pull it out w my fingernail.
It is in there good, though, but that groove makes it completely fine.

You know what, I hate lazy customer service and usless people. I went into an at&t store on friday when I got my phone. They said they had an edge demo but no products. On a whim today, I did a search for store availability on the at&t site for this very case, no less thgan 4 said the case was in store. I went to the nearest one (the same one thgat said they had nothing on friday). I showed them the internet site for at&t that said the case was there. The guy checked in the back and said: nope, no case. I said your store locator said you do. He obliged me and sasd let me check one more place.
Under the samsung phones in a covered drawer were 3 freaking cases. 3! I could have had this on friday. I say all this to say if at&T says they don't have it, and the internet says they do, make thgem actually look.

honestly, at first i thought for $30 i was getting hosed. it fees really flimsy out of the box. however, when i put it on the phone is fit like a glove and made the over all grip more solid in the hand. its like suction. i see no reason to ever buy a case for these high-end phones with killer screens and NOT have a kickstand for movies/youtube. therefore, i will stick with it until i have to get a new kickstand. so for now i would reccomend it.

If anyone has an old holster for the otterbox note 2 or 3, can u check and see if this fits in it.
I read the incipio case does, but I would prefer this case for the kickstand feature

I had the same EXACT problem at the store I visited. Went in was greeted, and told someone would be right with me. I went ahead to look at the cases, a guy came up and asked what I needed. I told him and he said nope we don't have them. I told him it said they did online, he said he would look in the back because they did get a shipment earlier. Well he must have gone in the back and just twiddled his thumbs. So I go back to looking for myself and lo and behold they had the smart folio. I moved to another display and they had the incipio case. I tired it but didn't like it and then flagged another salesperson down to say I know you have the casemate one because it says so online please go find it. and he did. Why do I have to inform them of what they have? SIGH

I called the ATT store today and asked them if they had the Case-Mate POP in stock, they put me on-hold, came back said they found it and would put it aside for me until I got there. Drove there 30 minutes later. They brought it out paid for it and was out of the store in less than 10 minutes.
The one I have is mostly black with dark grey on the sides. Fits perfectly. Now I'm just waiting on the Screen Protector.

The AT&T screen protector by Invisishield is actually pretty good. I usually stay away from Zagg-type protectors due to the rubbery, sticky feel. But this one is a definite step up. Plus it installed with no bubbles and can't even tell it's there!

bought my note edge today in the Netherlands, only t-mobile sells it and they have limited stock. as far as I can see they do not sell any case for the note edge outside of the US or korea etc. Does anyone know where I can order it online? Searched for it with no success...

There are many on eBay. Lots from Korea which are little expensive but there are Chinese knock off too.

I have the grey one though, wonder how it will look like, doesn't matter too much really, as long as it keeps my edge protected

I got my Flip case, its really nice with the edge screen, but I don't like the front cover that you constantly have to fold backwards in order to call/put it in a holder etc. I have a tripo holder that is unusable with this case, because folded you cover the lens, unfolded you cover the screen.
How do other users handle this?

I don't know yet, but I guess they just leave it hanging instead of folding it

Removed the flip wallet and replaced it with a silocon ebay cover. I liked the edge visibility when you close the wallet, but I dropped my Edge on the floor and the corner is damaged. The wallet is a lousy protection. It fell of when the phone hit the ground.
Another problem with the wallet is that of you want to use the phone, you fold the flip part to the back. If you want to close the wallet again is stays open for a few degrees. Only thing to fix it is to lay the phone down on the screenside, but then you cant read the edge screen.
Come one Samsung. You can do better!
