Installation Instructions:
--->For CM10 based build:
1. Flash the kernel ! (if you're not on cm10 ROM)
2. Flash the ROM..
3. Wipe /data and factory reset..
4. Let it boot first... than reboot to recovery & flash gapps which are provided..
5. Wipe cache and reboot !
--->For Miro:
1. Format /system..
2. Flash the ROM..
3. Wipe /data and factory reset.. AND STOCK KERNEL USERS; Flash CWM_fix or you'll loose recovery...
4. Let it boot first... It may take some times upto 5-6 mins..
5. Reboot to recovery & flash one of the provided SystemUI & Gapps..
6. Wipe cache and reboot !

A. 11.0.A.5.5 which is more stable than .5.8 and mod friendly...
Q. Can I flash it over CM10 ?
A. Yes, but flash vengeance kernel first...
Q. Which kernel should I use ?
A. I personally prefer vengeance kernel for better stability and because of no fear of losing Recovery...
Q. I have locked bootloader, can I use it ?
A. Obviously...

A. Zips which are made for Miro by me, are personally tested by Me.. so please follow the instruction again...
Q. Not much Themed ?
A. Yes because this ROM is made for pleasant experience of Nexus(AOSP)...

Quick question. If update is based on 5.5, can it be used with vengeance? Haven't tested anythibg new from fxp that's stable lately.

To get xperia lock mode ( settings -> cosmic settings -> lockscreen -> style options -> lockscreen style) try first option for xperia s lock and try one by one for new lock screens

first flash rom wipe/data and reboot
for the second boot flash patch and reboot no need of any wipe
and third gapps no need of any wipe
if you flash continuously or flashing rom/patch at once the files will be messed and causes bootloops
this rom is tested according to all services and posted

there seems to be some problem with the top bar of the pop-up menu..

awesome ROM!!! One bug i found is camera freezes ,when i open the camera am getting the message "cannot connect to camera"...except that everything is fine so far...

theres nothing wrong with the ROM .. this theme is not fully compatible with our phone .. using Achep ICS theme and working perfectly..

Frequently asked questions:
Q:How to install/flash the rom?
A:Put the X-perience.zip on your SDcard and flash it via CWM-recovery
Q:Can I use the rom over any other ICS based rom without data/factory reset?
A:You can give it a try, but it is usually no good idea. Befor you give it a try make a nandroid backup to be safe.
Q:What do I have to do, if I come from CM10/10.1 or other CM based Roms?
A:Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache & dalvic cache, then flash via CWM-recovery
Q:what should I do, if wiping caches and fixing permissions will not work?
A: Please perform a clean install. That means, flash Nordic ICS (XXLQ9) or Indian ICS via Odin and after that flash the X-perience.zip again.
Q:What should I do if I stuck in a bootloop?
A:Wipe cache and dalvic cache and then reboot. If you are on bootloop after wiping the caches, try to fix permissions via CWM in advanced menu.
Q:Whath should I do, if I have massive battery drain?
A:Power off your phone and remove the battery for about 10minutes and then normal restart, this should solve the massive drain

The only tweak I've done is that I've increased the search time of WiFi, cause it was the most important for me.

Yes i know u have increased the interval to 180. Also i havent talked about tweaked but the theming u did is quite nice.

As far as I know, it should work, if you wanna flash this over any other ICS 4.0.4 version.
But take a nandroid backup to be save

If you are on official Indian ICS then you just have to wipe cache and dalvic cache. No need to wipe data/factory reset. And so no direct need of an emmc brick bug free kernel.
I don't use viber or skype, so I can't say anything about those. But whatsapp is working without any problems. Since now I haven't any problems with apps.

Can I flash this directly on the BB rom?...both are based on XXLQ9...did anyone try? is it possible to brick the phone if i experiment this?

Which one? Is it necessary?
Or do I just flash it like all other roms in CWM with clearing data,cache and dalvik cache?

bug free kernel means the one in which emmc bug is disabled like in the case of ardatdat kernel. you can flash that through cwm. As far as skype and viber are concerned , since the bug was not reported on any rom based on xxlq9 I guess it should work without any issues.

Not working for me. CWM refuses to install it! It barely takes a sec and says installed zip and then the phone doesnt boot past the galaxy R screen. I m using stock india ICS with ardatdats kernel

Xperia SP ROM Will Not work On L How Did you say that SP ROM Will Work On L? I Already Dumped the Xperia L Latest Firmware to create this ROM I Have Many ROM on Diff Xperia.

Have you really enabled illumination lights? Because we cant customize them!

how to get cwm on our device?
Can you add a stock kernel.elf/boot.img included CWM/TWRP for locked bootloader, that we can simple flash with fastboot? Then we can reboot in CWM/TWRP and simple install your Rom.
Or can i use the boot.img in your Rom zipfile and flash in fastboot to become CWM/TWRP?

So it may be useful to have a Discussion Thread.
Then a question: Is this ROM stockbased? I guess so... then, shouldnt it work to flash the ROM bit keep all data?

Now Place all these three files in your PC(make sure they are in the same folder OR else it won’t work)
Now use WINRAR and extract the part1(IT WILL ASK FOR PASSWORD. SO PUT “ROMBYAKSHAY” WITHOUT QUOTES). You will automatically get the ROM by extracting the part 1(But other parts must be present in the same folder)
Now its just that you have the ROM zip file in a folder named “DARK_JB_ROM_BY_AKSHAY”
NOW PLACE THAT ZIP FILE IN THE ROOT OF YOUR PHONE’
Now Before Flashing(Make Sure that You are on Stock ROM and Kernel as always advisable because you might brick your phone if you’re not on Stock Rom and kernel)
Now, Boot Your Phone in Recovery Mode(Press volume up + home key + Power key simultaneously to get into Recovery Mode)
Now select “apply update from sdcard Option” and select the cwm zip file. DOWNLOAD CWM FILE HERE (Download link)
Now it will take you to CWM windows. NOW firstly take a backup of your current ROM(Just incase if you do something wrong).
NOW clear cache and select “Install zip from sdcard” and select the ROM file.
WAIT for the flashing to complete and then reboot your phone. DONE ENJOY. STAY TUNED. UPDATES WILL BE RELEASED SOON
I have excluded some apps from the ROM so as to make the ROM smaller in size.
there are the apps i have excluded
1. Calender (Download Link)
2. Email (Download Link)
3. Google Talk (Download Link)
4. Google+ (Download Link)
5. Maps (Download Link)
6. Quick Office (Download Link)
7. Samsung apps (Download Link)
8. Swype (Download Link)
9. Youtube (Download Link)
If somebody uses any of these apps, they can simply download and flash them in cwm. 

Bro, i have myself tested the ROM for a month. BTW where did you find the bug? in statusbar? in messaging app? or any where else?
actually i am building v3 update for it. and if any bug is there, i will fix it in this update

its a gr8 rom bt i cn see no radio appcn u do smthng abt it?thnx in advnc....

Don't Worry bro. Holo Launcher will be replaced by ADW launcher in v3 update. its much better than holo launcher :victory:

Pls dnt mnd for asking qstns so frequently bt i thnk the rom needs a little improvement in battery life....waiting eagerly for v3 and the radio app
