Sense 5? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Has anyone else seen this article?
http://stateschronicle.com/htc-sens...lable-for-all-variants-of-htc-one-x-1399.html

Yes

Half the article is untrue lol. All versions of the HTC one M7 was delivered with sense 5. I never had sense 4.5

Yes, because Sense 4+ is only optimized for the HOX atm (and the HOX has a different screen resolution). You'll have to wait till the JB update is out for the HOS. Then a port will be possible.

Oh OK thanks for a replays

We have to only wait to hos be updated, which has the same resolution as ours and similar hardware.

One S with S4 CPU hasnt had JB yet either, however, the Taiwanese exclusive One S+ has got JB... but we cant port it because of RUU encryption and no one has this phone on xda so they cant give us a system dump

Yes we did/do.
I had a One S S3 before I exchanged it for the Sensation. I felt like a piece of **** nobody needed. No Custom ROMs, no support from HTC. Nobody knows anything and everybody is complaining. Just a mess! So glad I got the Sensation!

The VilleC2 is the Sensation with an other case/monitor. Felt no downgrade except the amoled display. I'm actually enjoying the Sensation more because I can have a 64GB microSD inside of it. 10GB are just too few for such a phone (One S).

HTC 4.1.2 with sense 5

In just wondering about the likelihood of the one XL getting an update or port of the new os such as seen on the new htc one. Seeing as I love my one XL and its only about 6 months old I would be really disappointed in the lack of updates from HTC seeing this was their flagship

knowing HTC we wont see it... maybe the one X+ and DNA
the most we will probably get is a port from one of the other HTC phones

[Q]Sense 5

Anyone heard anything about when to expect it? I hear One rollouts got pushed back to April or something and presumably the hox updates will follow.. any chance of One Sense 5 ports? Any info/speculation? I'm a little excited for sense 5 =)

No "official" upgrade more like.. but XDA is as official as it can be when it comes down to the latest and greatest

Re: Sense 5
Is the resize issue really gonna be bad, cause the htc one's screen size is not that far off from ours i really dont see that as a big issue, maybe the keyboard might be an issue and a few other minor things but i dont think it will be like making sense 5 work on a wildfire or something similar to that size!!!!

Re: Sense 5
It will because that phone is 1080p and this one is 720p. Its the resolution that matters, size is just a small factor.

So the evo lte has a working sense 5 port,i got a question since our hox and evo lte are basicly the same phone, how much modding of a sense 4+ kernel would it take to get it to work on our phones???Im still learning and im trying to get an idea what needs to be done to get it to boot on our phone!!!!EDIT:nevermind aint gonna happen from my end cause my son dl something and now got a virus on my pc and have blue screen of death so im screwed at the present time so no building setup for me so i can port it,im banning my kids from internet once i get this sorted out!!!!: (

Or get the 32GB unlocked version straight from HTC like I did. Won't be blocked from using HTCDev.

I realize that. It was actually $574 shipped through them. Once I sell this phone I'll make up most of that. I'm sure for the people who buy on contract a way will be found to by pass the block on htcdev once it goes into effect. This forum is awesome for that.

Check this out: EVO 4G LTE may get an update

Just found this little nugget on my BlinkFeed: http://m.intomobile.com/2014/01/01/...ed&utm_campaign=Feed:+IntoMobile+(IntoMobile)
Talks about how Sprint's version may be getting 4.3. I wonder if that includes Sense 5. Makes me wonder if the AT&T version will get some love.
Why are you posting this in the HTC One XL forum?
