Hey there guys
Is there a way to auto agree with the onavo extend VPN connection every time I reboot my phone? I wish I didn't need to accept it every time the phone is restarted.
Cheers

Droidwall works well. You can't schedule times but it will let you decide which apps can connect on 3g and wifi

it seems to be a hardware limitation. But in some cases can be improoved by customs roms, etc.
Normally it's already at max performance. Because of this, I haven't There are some apps, but I think they aren't really efficient.
I think it's easier to have a router firmware update than an app to improove wireless efficiency.
So i was going trhough the avg antivirus task killer and i hapoen to notice that i said NFC service and i dont get that and i just disconected my phone from the computer and now it takes forever to finnish the media scan whats up with that ?

NFC is Near Field Communication. A feature built in to the device that lets you transfer files to nearby devices.
You can disable it in the settings if you're concerned
Nononono i know nfc is but i cant turn it on in my wireless settings i have gingerbread

Ok, well you didn't say that in your OP and I am not a mind reader, but sorry anyway...
I have no idea how to enable it in GB, good luck!
It's not enabled in stock gingerbread.

Thats a feature thats there but we just dont get acces to it if we are on GB I would freeze it with TIBU or bloatfreezer instead of having it eatingresources or battery
I have Foxfi installed on my s3, it works great for like 5 mins then it looses connection and I have to re connect. It just continues, are there any settings on the phone that hinder the connectivity after a certain amount of time. Also when it does this I can immediately pick up the phone and hit the chrome browser app and it loads instantly. So I don't think it's the radio or my signal. P.s. have screen timeout set to 15 mins. Thanks and please help , I kinda don't want to root and nit even surer if that would make a difference.

Can someone please give me some ideas

Settings/developers options.... make sure the "do not keep activities" is unchecked.
Otherwise, welcome yourself to the disturbing (and growing) number of data connectivity issues popping up with the s3.
Before I rooted I was using foxfi and it was the same ****. I understand it as the same issue as dropping wifi.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Back in the Dinc days I had tasker start the GPS automatically whenever navigation started...but it doesn't look like that is possible with ICS/JB. I'm running beans 9
Does anybody have any idea on how to get this through tasker or other means? Thanks
Personally, I just leave my gps on all the time...
I don't see why Tasker wouldn't work though...

You can use Tasker, but you also need the Secure Settings app with the Root Helper installed in order for 3rd party apps to modify GPS settings. Why Google restricted it like that in Android 3.0+, I'm really not sure...

Phone Weaver can do it...

So do I, there is no reason not to really.
Leaving GPS on doesn't affect battery life enough to even notice.
Hi !
It's kinda difficult for me to explain but it's fairly simple:
I have 2 android phones:
1. Phone "A" with number I use all day and carry it with me.
2. Phone "B" with number I use rarely and usually it stands on the shelf all day long.
I receieve calls, SMS and other things on phone "B" occasionally. Sometimes entire day passes until I see that I have missed call, SMS or other notification.
Is there an app that would notify me on phone "A" that I have some activity on phone "B" ?
Thanks in advance ! :good:
Im looking for a same aplication too for android. Can anyone give us a clue??

There are mobile tracking apps for your kids phones this would work in the same way you install on one device and everything is sent to the main device as well you install parent app on reciving phone and kid app on host phone wich I also believe is able to be hidden and password locked ill try and find a link through my old emails

It has been leaked that this feature will be added in Android 4.3.

You can always find some sort of call forwarding app/SMS forwarding app that should be able to address your needs.
