[Q] SGH-I727R Cannot boot into recovery

Hi, hope someone can help out with this.
I originally tried to flash a ROM to my phone that was not for the I727, and the flash failed, so I decided to recover to stock. I followed (carefully) the steps to recover to stock and eventually got Odin to flash the stock ROM. I was unable to flash the ROMs from the links provided, but when I tried the K0nane link, it PASSed. But, after doing that I cannot boot into recovery, and when I turn the phone on it's stuck at the splash screen.
I can still get into download mode and Odin recognizes the phone, and I can flash the K0nane ROM, and I've done that a few times now with the same result.
Where do I go from here?
-UPDATE - I just tried again...was able to flash the K0nane rom through Odin. When Odin rebooted the phone it just stays on the splash screen. I waited last time for 20-30 minutes, with no change. Hoping I did not mess up the phone beyond recovery.
Pull battery, boot into recovery, factory reset.

Like I mentioned, I can't boot into recovery. It shows the 'Galaxy' text screen, then just goes black instead of going into recovery.
I think I\m on the way now. One thing in the troubleshooting list I hadn't tried.....try it on a different computer. Tried it on my Windows 7 laptop and it worked. Now going to try again to install cwm and custom rom.

RAZR HD Stuck on Fido logo

Hello guys! I'v have the problem with my RAZR HD. After i have Jelly Bean update (Fido device), i'm use it normally, but after i need to do factory reset it stucks on bootloop. i'l get out of that by pressing all heys and entering Boot Options Menu. Then i select normal booting, it loading but stuck on the fido logo. also i've tried to boot factory&bp tools but nothing gonna changes. After that i'll get bootloader unlock, and try to flash Retail German (4.1.2) fw from the Jelly Bean stock firmwares superthread. RSD flash it, but stuck on the reboot stage, than said please power up manually that phone. In this time device always rebooting - first bootloader unlocked notification than black screen than green android and again and again. I stop that cycle but holding all keys, after that trying to boot normally and boot factory but it always stuck on the fido (!!!) logo. What does it mean? RSD don't flash phone? And finally how to get phone works i don't care on what fw.

RAZR HD XT925 stock recovery broken?

My RAZR HD has stock ROM, not flashed with anything, bootloader locked, but the 4.1.2 update broke it badly.
Now 9 out of 10 times it gets in a bootloop then I see that green android (stock recovery) trying to flash some update and it dies. If I hard reset sometimes it will boot into the stock ROM but its as if everything is wiped fresh (every time it boots).
I google around and people say to get into stock recovery and wipe, but when I get to the boot menu and hit recovery it just goes blank and reboots itself and gets back in the boot loop.
Is there any hope of a fix?

Shield doesnt boot anymore

So guys, i've done it. I bring my first device.
Yesterday i tried to downgrade via fastboot with this recovery images https://developer.nvidia.com/gameworksdownload (yes is choose the right ones)
flash boot, check
flash recovery, check
flash system, failes (insufficient memory)
erase sytem, check
flash system, failed (insufficient memory)
flash twrp, check, but no usb mouse so
flash cwm, check
factory reset, check
rom.zip and gapps on sd card, check
reboot, boot into bootloader, no chance
It boots everytime normal, so i cant enter the recovery.
Connect it to charger, check
charging led lights up, check
Go sleeping, check
doenst boot into bootloader :/
Back to charger
Now I wanted to try it again and i wont even boot.
Anyone has an Idea? Or is it really bricked?
Can you still see the device listed using fast boot?
No, because I can't enter the bootloader or the recovery. But it boots again

The same thing just happened to me. Unfortunately, I am still trying to figure it out. I flashed a "stock" recovery that I had found in order to be able to take the OTAs. Now when I boot, I just stay stuck on the NVIDIA splash screen.....been there for hours.

Same here.....
Mine is working again. Booting in the bootloader is a little bit tricky.
Have you tried to flash all? Boot.img, recovery.img and system.img?
...
I had the same issue. But after trying to get into the bootloader using POWER + VOLUME DOWN for about 15 minutes it finally went to the bootloader and I was able to re-flash it. I have a feeling it's the cludgy power button.
You do not need to flash the stock recovery to take the ota. I have taken 2 otas now on custom recovery without any issue and without loosing root. Just an FYI.

I just did a factory reset under lollipop, locked boot-loader rooted and it rebooted to the green android screen then dropped into CWM and asked to fix root. I said no, then it went to the nvidia boot logo and it is stuck. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Edit: nevermind, I just powered it off after about 20 minuets and it hung again. When I plugged it into my pc, it finally poped into the setup/welcome screen. Pretty weird. Heart attack averted

[Completed] Moto E 1st Generation Boot Animation UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER Boot Loop Please Help!

Hi, I'm new to XDA. Sorry if I did something wrong already. But I have a problem, I tried installing a new boot animation to my moto e 1st gen (bootloader was unlocked, it was rooted too). Now whenever I turn the phone on, The WARNING BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED image shows up, but there is no boot animation. I cannot access anything, I can only go into recovery mode and CWM. I have tried factory reset using Recovery Mode (No success, just does WARNING boot loop again ) I have also tried factory reseting through CWM, till no success. I am giving up, I just recently bought this phone. NAY help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Can you tell us what firmware was your phone running? Also what recovery do you have on your phone?
If stock, you may try flashing stock firmware via fastboot.

Thanks for responding so quickly! But I fixed the problem a few minutes after posting this . But there is a new problem, I downgraded from Android 5.0.2 to Android 4.4.2. After doing this the phone worked perfectly. Then a few minutes later it installed a system update for 4.4.4 and now the phone is hard bricked. I can't access recovery mode, CWM, or even turn the phone on now. Before charging the phone, if I held the power button for a long time, the LED lit up and turned back off. Now there is no response from the phone at all no matter what I do.
Also, I had ClockWorkMod and stock recovery on my phone (Is stock recovery the one that shows up when you hold power+volume down? If so I had both CWM and stock) But now I can't access either recovery modes. If it at least went into stock recovery, I'd flash stock firmware, root it, install CWM, and flash a Lollipop zip. (I like Lollipop, I don't know why there are so many people that hate Lollipop )
Any help would be much appreciated. All i need now is a way to flash files without going into recovery mode on phone.
