Gestify Gesture Control
>>> Get it from the Android Market now! <<<
Hi,
Today I want to make you aware of my new App, Gestify. Gestify allows you to change system settings, to quickly interact with a contact or to start any activity with a simple, drawn gesture. Gestures can be executed from a separate activity, the notification bar, the wallpaper or from your lock screen.
Train a gesture:

Quick access to gesture recognition via status bar, lock screen or wallpaper:
I am happy to get your feedback about this app and your general thoughts about mobile gestures. I will try to incorporate your feedback into this app. It is part of a small research project about mobile gesture use. So, if you use this app you will support my research. Thanks for that!
Best Regards,
Benjamin

Hi guys.
Since the update to 4.4, which introduced the transparent nav buttons background + status bar, most screen filter (brightness overlay) applications on the market have problem of covering the bottom transparent navigation buttons.
If you have a Nexus 4, Nexus 5 or Nexus 7 with 4.4 and stock launcher or new Nova beta launcher, turn on the filter make them look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So I made my own overlay filter app to fix the bottom nav bar not being covered.
Download: Play Store: Brightness Filter
Changelogs:
v2 2013-11-26
- added opacity control when the app is launched.
- fix bug that sometimes the filter is restarted by Android system.
- remove support for older versions of Android (now support 4.1 and up) --> app is now much smaller in size
v1 2013-11-23
- initial release
Enjoy if this helps you. Tell me if you have any problem.

Lux works fine. It also removed filter during a screenshot so the image doesn't come out dark.

Hey everyone!
What is CopyClip?
CopyClip is an easy-to-use clipboard manager that doesn't require you to leave your app that is currently open. It automatically saves and intercepts any copy you make. You can quickly access your clipboard manager by clicking the dropdown notification in any app. The clipboard overlays the currently open app allowing you to quickly access recent and pinned items and return to your app!
This was designed for a Software Engineering class project - I vlogged most of the experience on my channel on Youtube if you want to check out the progress!

Hi everyone! With Android 9.0 and latest Bixby button, now you can natively remap Bixby button to do many things, BixBye adds a bit more to these 'many things':
* Launch Google Assistant
* Launch an App
* Power Dialog
* Recents
* Home
* Toggle Flashlight
* Back
* Lock Screen
* Open Notification
* Quick Settings
* Take Screenshot
* Toggle Split Screen
More:
* Nothing - to prevent accidental Key Press.
* Powerful Tasker Plugin - lets you perform any type of complex task using Tasker.
Download from Google Play Store. (Please don't forget to leave a review at Google Play Store!)
As it goes without saying, the App is experimental and is in Beta Stage, things may not work as you expect to. However, your feedback will definitely help me improve the App. I don't own a Galaxy Device, any screenshot/video will be much appreciated.
NOTE 1: You must open and configure/setup Bixby to launch 'BixBye Actions' App upon Bixby key press.
NOTE 2:If you face any issues/warnings with Secure Startup when you enable BixBye's Accessibility Service, please note that it's an Android bug. Just disable Secure Startup temporarily, enable BixBye's Accessibility Service and then finally re-enable Secure Startup for everything to work in harmony.
